What a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. The kids area was fantastic. Couldn't fault the place.
Loved that they had a staff member in the kids zone to avoid to much rowdiness.

We were here on holidays and everyone raves about this place so thought why not give it a try. Well we Waited an hour and 20 minutes for food to arrive, paid $84 for 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals. Kids meals were fine but my hubby ordered beer batter flake, was def not worth $26.59 for the size flake pieces were. I ordered the chicken and asparagus special and paid $35.50, well the only good part was the chicken and green veggies. Its supposed to come with crispy fried potatoes well i reckon i got potatoes that had been sitting for ages as they were absolutely disgusting and almost stale like. I wouldn’t even feed them to a pig.

We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food. Just wanted a quiet drink to escape the cold around 7.30 pm on a Friday night.
We were initially directed to the bar area, but it was too noisy for our liking, and there were clearly intoxicated men hanging around the door. My friend wanted to leave, but we tried the restaurant area again and found a free booth. So we eventually did get to enjoy a chat over a glass of wine 🍷 which was our intention all along.
These types of places are generally noisy and busy, especially this time of night.

We decided to order takeaway from Raffertys and wow this food was amazing. My partner ordered the 700g rump with chips (medium rare) and myself lamb shank with mash and veg. We are blown away of how big these meals were and to pick it up from the bottle O was awesome.
The steak wasn't tough it was succulent and cooked perfect. The lamb shank was top notch, great portions and i love how the sauce comes in their own containers to pour on your own. The veggies were so tasty and soft and the mash was so buttery and perfect.
Hands down to the chef for making our last night in Warrnambool perfect. We would definitely be recommending others to come and eat here or even takeaway. Thank you 😊

The atmosphere is loud and noisy. Went there for a friend's birthday, and my elderly parents in their 80s felt extremely uncomfortable there. My father, who is deaf could not hear the person sitting near him due to the excessive noise.
It is very off-putting having children running around in a restaurant when people are trying to eat.
On the plus side, however, there is a huge vegetarian menu which my sister likes.

Superb food. Everything just melts in your mouth. We ordered a variety of dishes but I especially came here for lamb shank and it did not disappoint me. The Parmas were amazing too especially the Nasi Goreng Parma. We also ordered natural and Kilpatrick oysters and we just loved both. We ended our meal with a warm mouth-watering sticky date pudding. A must try place!

Last visit, smoked lamb rump 👌, bit fatty but flavir and presentation was spot on.
Garlic prwns on the steak were a bit of a let down and the rump it self was under cooked over cooked and cook just right. Ceaser Salad was nice, and the drinks were a funny flavour. Kids play area is handy for parents who need a break when you want to sit and eat. And the icecream bar is a trap. Located near the toilet, so the kids are bound to go pass it at some stage during the night, very expensive also, It'll send you broke if you got 3 kids. I hadn't been there since they had set up the marquees, but that area looks like alot of fun, somewhere you can get all ya mates together and enjoy a evening on the beers.

i went with a group of friends and they ordered multiple meals, one of them getting a parma. i decided on getting an original parma aswell due to theirs looking really good, juicy and they got theirs first and had nothing bad to say. when i got mine, it was so dry, i tried getting myself through it and couldn’t even get halfway. it made me lose my appetite and i decided to take it home to see if microwaving or air frying would be better, but before i left i decided to try get a refund. i spent $27 on the parma, and the manager did not believe that the parma was dry since they had ‘sold nearly a hundred parkas and had no complaints’. i have never asked for a refund in my life for low quality food, this was the first time. instead of receiving the full $27 in cash, i received a $20 voucher, which i will most likely not be using and i did not agree to the voucher but i decided to leave and not start anything.
all respect to the service staff and that manager and the chef, but what i got was low quality, and i could’ve went anywhere else in the state and got something better. there are many other options on the menu here, but i did not like my parma.

I always have a great experience when I go to Rafferty’s Tavern! There are tons of food options to cater whatever you’re craving. They have weekly deals of the week (minus Saturday and Sunday) which also help in deciding what to order. The servers are super friendly and you’re always greeted with a smile here!
I ordered the Chicken Parma and Cream of Mushroom and Bacon Soup. (I was so hungry I forgot to take the original picture so please excuse my half eaten Parma lol). The food is super filling and delicious. I was a bit turned off by the colour of the soup but it tasted great nonetheless. Their chips are amazing as well, thick cut and crispy!
I think the real standout of this place is their rewards program that they offer: free to join and you earn money every time you swipe your card in the main lobby, which can be used for future purchases! You get a $30 voucher to use during your birth month (awesome!) They also reward you with prizes (free drink vouchers or free dessert vouchers) every so often that can be used without the purchase of a meal! They also do a draw every Friday to win a massive cash prize (for members only and only if you are present at the restaurant that night). They have “Pluck a Penguin” on Friday’s too where you can buy raffle tickets to potentially be picked to actually pluck stuffed penguin toys and win prizes.
Always a fun time at Rafferty’s! I will be back once I’m in Warrnambool again!

Held my 50 th birthday / 25 years wedding anniversary in the function room and staff were great through out the night to make it all run smooth and the food was fast out and well done

Great restaurant. They have a great large kids inflatable playground with CCTV on a TV in the eating room. So parents can supervise their kids without being there.

Great place to take the kids as they can be occupied with the playroom. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a crowded bistro. The staff were very helpful when requests were made. I had a chicken curry, which was hot and tasty, although it didn't contain much chicken. Nice side of rice and nan bread.

Great place, menu had so many options, deserts were excellent. I had the 12 hour Smoked Brisket, many choice for beer. Plenty of staff all organised, great system with the buzzer.
Had a fancy specials list too, picture of menu is 1/4 of what is on offer.

Great local pub. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful, and the quality of the food is pretty high. They have specials, and whilst there's no table service I find the food comes out pretty quickly unless it's peak times.
Friday nights they have a regular raffle pluck-a-penguin which draws a big crowd and has decent prizes.
Membership program offers occasional discounts and rewards for regular meals

Great customer service, friendly staff and food was good. We haven't had a bad meal yet, coffee was made well, bean could be better, but still enjoyable.
Playground is great, currently the best indoor playground in Warrnambool but upstairs wasn't running at this lunchtime visit.

Foods good, but not great. Staff are friendly, beers cold and the atmosphere is always pretty good. It's a good spot to sit, have a drink and a chat.

Food is pretty good, well priced. Kids play room is great. But it puts a big downer on lunch when you have to go up to the counter 5 times because they keep forgetting meals or in our case waited 1.5hrs and the kitchen didn’t have our docket yet.
Take a punt, could be good, could be bad.

Great food and really friendly service.

Awesome little find for dinner. We weren’t expecting a lot going in, but was pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere (special mention to Ben) and the beautifully presented food! Warm and comforting place to rest on the great ocean road.
