Yeah it's pretty good for a club feed.
Probably don't bother getting the aged steak. In fact, if you want a good steak go for the stone grill. Yeah you have to cook it yourself but it'll be the way you like it

We attended Raiders Club Belconnen
Sunday 14/07 as a large group 25 people
Upon arrival we realised we were early for dinner as tthe bistro opens at 1730pm.
The food is fresh and delicious,
The prices are fair and they always have blackboard specials.
The service from when we arrived at main reception was friendly and welcoming
The service from the Bistro ladies could be better.
Overall a great modern clean Club
We would definitely visit again.

We all had stone grilled steak, it was delicious. It was great fun to cook your steak to your liking and the stone stays hot for a long time.

Typical sports club nothing really special over others. Decent, better than avg club food at decent price. Definitely a good choice if looking for a good cheap decent club meal.
Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Always seems clean and tidy.
Only real disappointment is Wed night meat raffle. It's is pretty ordinary. Only been to it twice but both times the trays were just steak. 1st time all the trays were the same and had minute steak. We won one and I weighed the steak and it was just over 1kg. 1kg of minute steak is pretty rubbish for a club meat raffle in my opinion. The next time it was rump steak but my guess is still only around 1 to 1.5kg. I thought clubs ran meat raffles at cost or just above mainly to get people in on quiet nights to spend more on food, drinks and pokies. But doing some quick math, both times from the highest ticket number called they made over $2k in ticket sales. Had 20 meat trays with $30 to $40 of meat max. They are clearly making a decent profit. Not to say clubs can't make $$ but compared to the other club I go to, I won a meat tray there a week before that had Sausages, Steak, Chops, Chicken Kiev's ect. At least $100 worth. Think i'll avoid Raiders and stick to the other club for the meat raffle.

This is my all time favourite place. After renovation it looks amazing.
They have best menu. Pulled pork burger is fantastic. Love this place.

The food was really nice, but I had booked a table at the booth on the lounge area. When we arrived we were told that they don’t book tables in that area, would have been nice to been let know before hand. Other than having to wait forever to order and the finding out all the specials had already gone!

Really nice family friendly spot with good prices - especially on nights with specials on. Parmys and Schnitzels are spot on and the toasties look incredible. There's a cafe section, restaurant section, pokies, raffles and even an arcade game at the front. Friendly staff and a homely feel to the place.

Raiders Balconnen is an awesome club! It’s not big compared to NSW standards but everything else is up there or better. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly, drinks cold, massive parking and the pokies in plentiful amounts! The burger I got was just splendid! Well done, well done and well done!

Probably the day affected this rating, but we walked out after waiting in line to get a drink, and then realising drinks were being served in plastic.

Our experience for an important birthday was okay. The staff were generally very nice although you could see they were run off their feet for Schnitzel Night, they did their best and kept a smile. Food was good, especially the schnitzels. My only issue was that we requested not to be near the kids play area and they went ahead and put us across two tables closest. There were only 8 in our party so we were divided to begin with then kids were screaming at the tops (I cannot express how loud) of their lungs over our meal and celebrations and running past. It bothers me that people leave their kids to behave like this. I think a play area is great but this one is an inside play area in the middle of a restaurant. It is not just a chance for you to drop your kids off, not watch them and eat your dinner. I wish the club would enforce some rules in regards to this. Had we known this would be our experience, we would have gone elsewhere.

Nice menu with small choices for kids and seniors. Slab steak was good, salad was customisable with grilled chicken/ no red onion. The pints at $17 ea were too dear to have more than one.

My wife and family went to Meat and Eat at the Raiders Club in Kippax. The food there is always very good, today, being Mothers Day, was no exception. The staff were friendly, welcoming and happy to please. The restaurant was quite busy, the overflow area had been opened for guests to ensure that everyone was able to have a meal. Our meal took a little longer than usual, however this was expected as they really were quite busy.
Once the food arrived, everything was as expected, and was cooked just as we had ordered it. My daughter ordered a steak medium rare, it was cooked to perfection. My wife ordered a Chicken Kiev, again cooked to perfection. My son ordered a Chicken Schnitzel with the lot, the schnitzel was nearly the size of the plate, with all the toppings that he wanted. I had a pasta meal, which was also very good.
All this for a little over ( average) $30.00 per head
Certainly great food, value for money and a wonderful atmosphere with great service.

It wasn't busy, the food came quickly, the price was good and the food was okay. Probably wouldn't return or recommend as Canberra has lots of places to eat that are brilliant and at same or similar prices.

I'm not a club or pub person, so I don't warm to a pub-like club environment. Although the facility has the ambience of a local pub, there are a few positive features.
The food is good and reasonably priced.
There's an eating area with large tables which is excellent when our large family and friends have a meal together there.
The intimate eating area with large glass windows overlooking the footy field is the place I have coffee with a few mates. We like that spot a lot.

I came in for the first time today in need pf a coffee and a pint of great northern and was served by the most well-mannered young bloke ever. The flat white was fantastic, and the pint was absolutely refreshing. Definitely recommend.

Had a good evening, but had a baseless report of "rude" behaviour was reported against someone, who was supposed to be with me. Surprisingly, neither was the "rude" person identified amongst the pack of about 20 people nor the attitude or words considered "rude" made known. The charges were frivolous unless there is a new definition of being "rude" or Australia has its own peculiar meaning, as there was no indication of frayed nerves, bad words or ill manners towards the counter during our time at the place.

Great for families with kids. There is an indoor playground next to the dining hall. Food is pretty good for club food

Fantastic welcoming venue with excellent food and great customer service.
I've visited here multiple times with work and friends. It's a fantastic atmosphere and inclusive.
Meat raffle is a bit of fun and fantastic prices for the small amount charged per ticket.
The venue welcomes guests from a variety of backgrounds, including assistance animals. It's wheelchair accessible and easy to get around the venue.

Beautiful food! I cannot fault anything on the menu. I cannot recommend this highly enough! Better than any club restaurant ive been to.

$25 Reef and Beef came out nice the broccoli and cauliflower you could say was raw 3- stars for the overpriced beer, yes I understand it’s a pint size but for 2 drinks 32.50 with membership is disgusting, best stick to water
