We love The Railway.
It's an easy place for a meal. Good casual atmosphere and SERIOUSLY good food! Eat in, take away. Big hearty pub meals the way they should be. Really nice people work here too so you get so relaxed. Just love unwinding here in peace. Thanks guys n gals.

We booked for 8 nights at the Railway Hotel and we were blown away with the incredible service provided by Geraldine, Gavin and the team. They really went out of their way to make sure we were looked after.
The 2 rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable for the week.
We also have to congratulate the kitchen with the first class meals that we had during the week.

Towards the outskirts of the CBD area but close to the Railway Station. Intimate bar, seated bistro area, rear pool garden with additional pool table area with heaters for the colder months. Consistently good pub grub available. Lovely Publican and staff. Great family friendly environment.

This has become our go to pub, we've tried so many, but this is the only one that truly caters for everyone's food taste. From cutlets, sausages to pork belly with bok choy, the Railway has it! There is a new menu, which is fantastic & a blackboard that changes . Staff are fantastic, the atmosphere is so cosy, it really stands out on it's own.

The Bistro meals were amazing, large sized & very nice. Staff are very friendly & helpful. We will be returning.

Thank you for making my race week (Bathurst 2023) so superb, sincerely. So much to praise and rave about. Old school pub with a solid family heart. I don't get into gambling much but a pub with the keno and tote and several tellies feels right to me. Bar staff are quickly attuned to your drink of choice. The kitchen knocks out some outstanding quality and generous meals; I fell in love with the cheesy garlic, my lawd its good but holy moly the t-bone and cutlets are straight outta The Flintstones, they are that big. Staff are friendly, engaging and on to it at all times. Thank you, Paul.

Staff are friendly. Free wifi. Comfortable bed but only a double, not queen. Rooms small but clean. DO NOT STAY HERE IN SUMMER if you want to sleep. Room at 10pm is 30 degrees. Stiffling.

Soooo I've been here 3 times in 2 weeks. Walking distance from home makes it awesome, prices makes it awesome, super friendly staff makes it awesome and the quickness of the food coming out makes it awesome.
Food on each night I've been there was delicious, hot and tasty. I picked off the specials board and all 3 were yum.
Shall be back.

Me and my partner go to different places for dinner on occasions and since finding this place with the service and the meals,, it is a place that we'll sure to be back to,, thanks guys

It’s Rare now days where you make eye contact and people nod and say hello. That’s the atmosphere of this family run Railway Hotel. We only planned to call in and have one drink near the bar but ended up having to sample the great value meals walking past and with the great tasting beer and wine, we ended up being the last to leave😁. The Railway Hotel , another surprise of Bathurst!!👍

I couldn't fault this pub. The staff were helpful and the locals were friendly. I stayed overnight and found the bed comfortable, the showers hot and even had a place to park my bike undercover. A continental breakfast was also available in the common area.

Great hotel. The food is basic but better than average pub food especially at the price. Staff are very friendly. Love the place

Great country pub with a terrific outdoor dining area. The place was packed on Father's Day, but they managed incredibly well. A faily extensive menu which goes beyong just pub grub.

Food was very greasy and rather bland due to mostly being deep fried. The staff were lovely however, and the local atmosphere was pleasant.
I feel as though the menu might need to be adjusted before I make a return visit. A majority of the food on the menu appears to be deep fried.

Brilliant food. With an awesome atmosphere. Great place to go for a quiet beer, or a great meal with family and friends. Cant reccomend high enough!!

Best pub meal ever. Couldn't jump over the snitty it was huge. Everyone at the table loved their meal. If you like a snitty steak lamb cutlets or a great burger come here. Don't leave Bathurst without visiting this great pub. Fantastic friendly staff as well. Thank you!

Very reasonably priced. Generous servings.
Fresh local produce.
T bones are amazing. Huge, and best you'll find anywhere.

Absolutely wonderful place for either a quick refreshment, good feed or a short stay and I've done all 3 more than once. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and a genuine great bunch of people. The food is top notch with their chef cooking steaks to perfection. The menu is reasonably priced and the meals are NOT small. If you're needing accommodation, look no further. The beds are comfortable and the facilities are all clean and working well. Noise is no issue and the sunrises are spectacular. I'll be back, in fact, I'm booked allready for my next visit to Bathurst.
