Very rough around the edges attracts all sorts of scum of the side walk. Very bad service. Won't go there again.

The taller male staff ( between 2 worked in bar) on shift at 5.30pm was so rude. Just ask about the seat policy and
He answered ,if you are not follow you have to leave. As trained as a gaming attendant in other club, I am never allowed to reply that way to customers. Please train your staff be nicer.

Terrible customer service, workers were very rude and would honestly never go back there. Walked in had our ID’s checked, then walking through 3 steps into the gaming area we got our IDs checked again, a friend spoke in Vietnamese out of frustration of getting our ID’s checked 5 seconds prior, the worker who was checking our ID who is supposedly the manager, started being rude to us asking us what we were saying and acting as if we weren’t allowed to speak our own language to each other in the venue. This worker continuously was rude to us our duration there and we ended up leaving due to this horrible customer service.

Sometime I come play poke in this pub. Morning time staff one girl always rude. No smile, no decent talk.always angry face and rude the customer.. don't like see again this face.
Because the gambler always something worry the mind. Because they are loss the money..so the staff must need to experience how to handle customers and kind service. But one of the staff always rude..(afternoon girl)
I am almost 4 years customer in your pub.

Please change the FLAG OF NEPAL. The half flag looks so disturbing and disrespectful for the Nepalese community. Even if you don't want to change the flag, just care to remove it. Hope you take this comment seriously and positively. Thankyou.

Off work early today, so decided to come in and have a drink and continue my laptop work. Cheap for the draft beer.

"No manager, supervisor or staff shall play gaming machines in the club at any time, either on or off duty" and yet the club's security officer (a tall middle-aged smoker guy who is on duty at night time until past midnight) plays the machine whilst on duty. Not only that he plays the gaming machines, he collects "leftover" (unattended) credits and either would pocket the monies or use them to play the pokies. He should either be reprimanded or be sacked.
Many venues have policies that do not allow their employees to gamble onsite at any time.
For some venues it is so that the integrity of the gambling product is kept intact (such as preventing accusations that the venue is rigging machines when a staff member wins a major jackpot) or to deter staff members from developing a problem of their own with gambling.

Nice staff, but you can't buy anything to eat. Just got 2 party pies for free because I had a few bourbon and coke. Had to go somewhere else to buy myself some lunch

Nice historic pub that's been recently renovated. Excellent beer selection & friendly staff. Comfortable environment & close to the Station. Well worth a visit.

Never written a bad review before, but the service and manners from the majority of staff is just plain rude. This has been a common occurrence over several visits and amongst different guests.
Thought we would give the newly renovated venue another go. Venue looks nice and tidy, but unfortunately the staff are just as bad if not worse.

Melbourne Cup day and the vibe was certainly upbeat. Bar staff dressed for the day. Mixed crowd "behaved" Clean premises, new lounge area, big screen. Men's toilet ( BLACK,) now, that's a first: spot on clean.
Good to see staff practice RSA.
Finger foods kept coming.I live local, not a regular, but will certainly refer this to friends over the other two "locals"

I went there today around 5:30 pm the asian old lady and the young as well she was so rude to me not friendly at all very rude staff and very bad customer service they don’t know how to treat the customer I don’t even think to go there again and I don’t recommend it to any one of u guys if there’snot any of the owners or the managers can teach them how to treat the customers please teach her how to deal with the customers in a right way.

I haven’t visit this place yet, but the flag that you’re hanging right there, it’s not acceptable. It’s belong to the Republic of Vietnam. It’s not a nation, it is not appropriate to hang that flag, take it down!

Hit and miss with service black shirt happy and great service blue shirt grouchy and aggressive...Hotel set up for pokies not a good spot for anything else especially given bar staff in blue shirts!

Had a horrible experience at this establishment. The staff supposedly in charge tonight was very rude. Their tap ran out of tooheys old while pouring my drink and this staff brought me a mixed drink of tooheys new in the same schooner claiming that it was a schooner of tooheys old left by a different guest. When confronted he admitted that he lied and filled that half filled cup with a different drink and apologised in a very condescending way asking me “how many times do I have to say sorry?” This is unacceptable behaviour and the security guard shooed us away even after hearing our conversation.

Gaming attendant was super rude! I don’t EVER leave reviews nor take my own time to complain about a service as I know everyone has bad days. But she is lucky I am not a mystery shopper! I work in the pub world and am not a racist person by any means but she made me feel that because I wasn’t Asian I was a waste of her time. Raising her voice at me because she wasn’t clear on what she wanted from me and I questioned her? Literally screaming at me over the counter. Someone needs to open her eyes to customer service and potential new patrons. I will never return.

Dumb, rude, abusive staff.
Falsely accusing customers of TAB machine tampering when the faulty terminals are not working correctly. Pub owners not aware they have employed halfwits as bar staff. Avoid this hole !

Day time girl Kelly is very very rude, she basically smiles or talk politely only when there is veronica (manager) otherwise she is very rude to other staff members and customers.
In that pub I love everything except that Kelly.

As noted by many this pub has inexperienced / unprofessional staff. They favour you if you gamble. Don't expect to exclusively have a drink and not be asked to leave.

Absolutely love this place used to drink here back in 2019 and decided to come in here for a drink 2 weeks ago so glad I did the staff are so friendly and $6.20 for a schooner I never thought would see that again as I was paying over $7 in Cabramatta you even get free food here and with the train station opposite definitely my new local
