Welcoming and friendly staff. Love the renovations - tables or booth options. The food was brought out promptly. Fish, chips and salad (2 x Seniors) and were generous serves. The most delicious chips. Very hot coffee as requested. Easy parking. Would recommend.

We held my daughters 21st in the stan young room and couldn't fault it. The food was great. The barman remembered our orders was very friendly and couldn't do any better. Thank you.

We had a lovely night out here tonight. I've been here a few times before and never been disappointed, tonight was no exception. The food came out promptly and was nice and hot. It tasted amazing, we had the Korean rice bowl, the Char Sui rice bowl and the seafood hot pot. Meals were all very generous and well priced too! Cannot speak highly enough of this place!

We had a great night with friends on Friday night. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and faultless and the new makeover is really good. It was so good we’re heading back there next week.

This used to be pretty rough old pub, which I liked when I was younger, loud tunes, loud beers, loud pool etc. It had a great atmosphere a real country feel where you knew everyone there, but it was rough. Although this hotel has changed considerably and been renovated to the point where it's almost visually unrecognisable from its former self it's a really nice different place! Very clean and relaxed feel, Lovely staff, nice meals.

The meals were amazing. Well worth the price, the serving size was quite generous , we were all full when we left and the price was good.the service was fast and friendly.
Would recommend to anyone.

The food was amazing, full of flavour and freshly made
Took a little while to come out but worth the wait! (Did get a chicken Kiev so would have taken longer due to that)

Such a Delightful Place. Friendly Staff and Absolutely Delicious Food. My partner and I dined here for Lunch. Beautiful Atmosphere, we will definitely be dining here in future 🌿🌻.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble to make sure we had a great day. Food was of a very high standard and lots of variety. Well done keep up the great work. We will definitely be back. 😀🤙

Staff were friendly and helpful Meals were good quality and a reasonably sized, great to see that they didn't just fill the plate with chips. Meals are a reasonble price for pub meals. Also liked that there were daily specials on offer.

So disappointed with the Seniors meal today.
Ar Christmas when l was there the meals were a really good size and we all thought what great value the meal was. I have never seen a parma so small and not many chips it was the smallest seniors meal lve ever had and lve had a lot if them.
I never had a problem recommending this pub but l won't recommend it any more. We waited an hour for our meal to be served to us. On a positive note the staff were all very helpful.

Service was great, Thai beef salad.... Don't bother, not cheap and a total waste of money. Nothing Thai about it, except for some peanuts thrown in, I think they forget the dressing. The beef was very bland with no taste. Sorry, very disappointed. Three stars for the staff.

Not overly impressed with the fact that the second we walked in the door, even though greeted well, had issues with just my partners drink alone. Couldn't find the listing of a drink they had on tap on the system, spent 15min watching the server walk back and forth asking for help to receive none that actually helped, so just put 'something else on the system just to pay'. Then to follow have his drink half poured and the tap fail, being told "It's the keg we'll change it over" followed with "We're having issues with the keg, we'll bring it out to you shortly", followed by another 5min (now waiting 20min for 1 schooner), "Sorry, we can't get it to work, can we get you something else". My partner was not interested and then was essentially pressured into getting another drink, when you offer nothing of his interest, your own staff don't even know what drinks you provide, so when he asked for Toohey's another 2min wasted to find out if you serve it, to then be given options and told 'Well you've already paid for it, so what would you like?' Despite him constantly saying he wasn't interested. Eventually he gave in and just got another drink, when that drink arrived, while seated directly under the TV, the audio was turned on the TV with no notice or a reasonable volume, so my partner then had to ask them to turn it off so we could have a conversation (Which at the end of the night was being palmed off blaming the pub side being rowdy, which the issues was the speakers, not the pub side or other customers). We placed our food order, received our entree, which was quite nice, slightly under flavoured but we enjoyed it. Then the server took our plates, and my partners cutlery away, when I tried asking for a new set, the server just walked off and ignored me, didn't offer to bring a new set when she took the old set either. I ended up having to ask another server if they could bring us one. Our meals then arrived, I ordered a $52 steak, medium rare. It was brought out medium rare on the outside 1cm in and well-done the rest of the way through, we sent it back asking for it to be made medium rare, which we waited for anither 15min for it to be brought out again, leaving my partner picking at his food on his own, and mine being received again, incorrectly cooked, this time it was medium rare 1cm in, and the rest was cooked blue. At this point we were both put off our meals. The manager who originally sorted my meal said "If there are any further issues, let me know", so I asked the server to grab him, which we never ended up seeing him, just relayed through the server. Reservation was at 8pm, walked in at 7.45pm, and walked out hungry at 8.38pm. Paid for what we ate, service was hit and miss, meals need a lot more improvement. Regardless of a new establishment, a qualified chef knows how to cook, cooking a steak 2 different ways, twice, has me absolutely dumbfounded.
Honestly, despite the efforts in majority of customer service, I won't be coming back, none of our family or friends will be, and we are telling people our experience who are also disgraced and would have left sooner than we did, but I tried to give the place benefit of doubt. Now questioning why I bothered.

Nice place for inside or outside dinning with normal prices. Good menu to choose from with ordering drinks and food from the bar. Had the stockman rump and was the most boring plate I've ever seen just a slab of meat with chips, salad extra $2 in a very small bowl. Recommend the Korean BBQ beaf salad.

My wife and I had a lovely meal here, we highly recommend the seafood linguine and Salmon both cooked to perfection and accompanied by the pinot noir from the wine list. The friendly service was great and the hotel, modern and clean. Highly recommend.

My two friends and I met there for the first time there on Tuesday for lunch. It's a halfway point for us.
The woman that was the hostess was fantastic! she really knows how to make people feel comfortable and is very welcoming efficient. I apologize for not knowing her name. I would like you to pass on our thanks.
The food was great we had the Moroccan salad and the Calamari salad.
We now have our meeting place sorted out!

More renovations and changes but all for the better. Been a while since I have been and won't leave it so long again. Food was fabulous - particularly the stuffed mushrooms, they were huge - and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Well done we had a great lunch.

Lovely venue, food not the best around, cocktails are not their strong point. Would be nice to have a bit of atmosphere such as background music. Would go again but just for a game of pool and a drink.

Have not had a bad meal since the pub reopened. and we have had quite a few meals there .Staff always friendly and efficient, beer always cold .Great atmosphere and the place is always very clean .Love having our pub back, keep up the good work guys ☺️

Had dinner there tonight, it was so nice and new. Very neat and trendy styling. Great beer garden and sports bar. Food was delish. If i had one improvement it would be a greater selection on tap. Will definitely be back. A lady called Kerrie served us. She was lovely and very informative on the menu.

Great quick, friendly service. Comfortable and clean. Enjoyed our meal. The entree of garlic and cheese bread was my stand out. Yum! Thank you

Service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive to our table. Food was served in good time and all together for a big table. Highly recommend, it’s a great place to eat and drink

Great food, service & atmosphere here. Menu choices are a wide variety of options, the bar has big choice of taps and other drinks, throw in the live music on certain nights and this place is great!
The main issue here is getting a decent park!

Food was good but….ordered seniors steak and apparently got served a $41 steak! How do you say to an 85yr old person who waited a long time for their meal that the lovely steak and chips meal put in front of them is wrong?? And it has to be changed and you have to now wait for the correct meal!!!!!
Table service is fine IF the order is takien correctly and the bill is brought back to the table to pay, not at bar while walking out!
I will not ever be taking my parents back to the railway hotel!!!

Chicken & Avocado Gnocchi had no Avocado in all 3 dishes, no one knew about it until I told the server. The chef then said oh they were too hard to use. It was pretty bland & only 4 pieces of chicken. Oh & it took 50 minutes to get our food so we missed the first 30 minutes of the band

A lovely Sunday lunch with excellent food and prompt and friendly service. One of the nicer steaks I've had for quite sometime. The renovations are very nice and it has a nice atmosphere. Certainly will return again.

Absolutely beautiful staff and delicious food! Calamari was amazing , steak cooked perfect and the staff were so lovely and friendly and so very helpful..
