We had well priced wine and beer at this Yarraville establishment. The rooftop bar was spacious and clean with a great atmosphere and view of the street. The bar was open with friendly bar staff. The food looked great.

We could not have picked a better place to host my wife’s “significant” birthday. The service was impeccable, food outstanding and the environment created in the first floor private room was perfect. A special thanks to Susie, Bryce and Neve who went over and beyond to make the day special for Anna and our 65 guests. We continue to receive messages of congratulations and glowing remarks about the day. Thank you once again. Joseph

This vibrant pub offers an exceptional local experience with its appetizing food and inviting atmosphere. While it can get quite lively and noisy, our overall dining experience was still delightful. The beef burger, cooked to perfection, was an absolute delight. Its juiciness and impeccable flavour, combined with a generous serving size, made it a great value for the price. Equally impressive were the salmon and pork belly dishes, flawlessly cooked with a crispy skin and crackling. The only hiccup we encountered was with the duck, which happened to be a special not included in the regular menu. Unfortunately, it was overcooked, making it tough and chewy. However, the accompanying sweet potato mash was nothing short of sublime, compensating for the slight disappointment. Overall, this establishment is a fantastic local pub, offering great value for money with its reasonable prices. Its inviting ambiance, combined with delicious culinary creations, makes it a worthwhile dining destination in Yarraville.

This is a great spot. Really energetic pub vibe. Perfect spot to watch the footy (or any sport). Staff are always friendly. Food is always good. I really enjoyed the chicken schnitzel burger. Pizza is always decent. Good selection of on tap beers and wines. I’m a fan of this pub and will continue to visit. Definitely recommend.

The food was nice and they had gluten free options. Monday night trivia was a fun way to start off the week.

Super busy and staff were busy. Service was good but food service was dissapointing. The two dishes we wanted were sold out. Lamb rack was super undercooked and they forgot the sides?! Asked for some help with the lamb but they never came back. Asked for a steak knife and they never gave us one. My group had finished eating so we just ate what we could and left. Parma was good. Menu was honestly confused. Absolutely no parking.

Staff friendly and service was good and efficient. We order steak sandwiches, calamari and the kids burger. calamari was ok , steak sandwich was hard to eat( pull apart easily ) and too expensive for what you get. And kids burger uneatable. My daughter just had a bite and said this is the worst burger she ever had.(super dry and literally just beef and cheese) It's disappointing to see how little effort they put just because it's for kids.

Rooftop with a view over Yarraville. We got a table in the sun, but there are umbrellas and cover if you need shelter. Footy was on the tv. Food was excellent pub food.

Poor quality service, decent food. $24.5 for a Parma is hard to find these days, regardless of presentation or preconceptions based on the level of service provided, this one was well worth it. Tried to call ahead and book but the phone rang out, I should have taken this as warning of what was to come. Upon arrival we were greeted after a few minutes of feeling invisible and promised a table. After waiting a number of minutes we noticed that a party arriving after us we given the table that our waiter had “reserved”. Table service was not available where we eventually seated ourselves, not the worst but a bit annoying. Neither cutlery, salt or pepper were provided until asking. Wouldn’t rush back.

One of my favourite places to go to during summer, they have a really nice rooftop that has a great vibe The staff are friendly and the service has been quite quick The food is great quality and decent portions, I had the gnocchi this time and it was fabulous, they were light and fluffy as well as full of flavour

Old school pub great atmosphere however very loud. Went with a group of 14 staff very good. Food again, no frills adequate, what you would expect. Great location parking poor, must book Friday or Saturday. Public bar excellent.

Nice pub, handy to the train. Food was good and enough on the plate. It wasn't exceptional, but good. Decor was great, really liked it. However loos could do with a refresh, as they are a bit knocked around. Service was very good.

Nice pub atmosphere, staff are friendly and do a great job. Upstairs overlooking Anderson Street has a good vibe. Restaurant is noisy, and food is middle of the road. Lobster linguine was dry, twice cooked pork belly lacked crunch. Scotch fillet was tender and juicy. Update scotch fillet this time not as good, minute steak thickness, otherwise ok.

My Wife Jess and I just had our baby shower at the Railway hotel. All we can say is, wow! The service, the staff, the food and the venue space were all immaculate. A massive shout out to Molly, Neve and Rhys for being absolutely fantastic throughout the entire day! We genuinely really appreciate you all going above and beyond for our event. Thanks also to Susie for helping us along the way, for being attentive to our every need and for organising everything in the background!! Thanks for everything guys, we’ll definitely be back :)

LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH..... All in all the atmosphere is fabulous, beautiful people. Such a beautiful place and the food is always good. The rooftop beer garden is a great attraction, with a view over the famous Anderson Street Yarraville. Nice size function area. The dining area is large and fancy, and the bar area is lovely and comfortable. Best place in Yarraville for drinks, and meeting people, if you're looking to party on Friday or Saturday nights this place will impress. Whatever the occasion it's a must in Yarraville.

It's a nice pub but lacking atmosphere. Food is delicious, service is lack lustre, our waitress looked as though she didn't want to be there and I saw her roll her eyes a couple of times when asking for our friends food, which didn't come out at the same time as the rest and she was waiting a while. It's not a bad place for catching up with friends and food and is walking distance from Yarraville train station.

I had the veal snitty unfortunately it looked and tasted like the oil was a bit past it's prime, l did pay for an extra gravy on the side but then l did not get the cranberry sauce it was ment to come with as per the menu description but all in all everyone else's meals looked great and everyone enjoyed what they had. We all have bad days will give them another go at some point. Also really need to make the entrance a bit more welcoming.

Good old pub with lots of atmosphere and people. Different a good location to share a meal with family or friends. The roof top bar was also set up very well with an extensive drinks list and big tv’s. Food was better than the average pub meal. And prices were very reasonable. For a casual meal I would go back.

From the outside, it looks typical, but the interior is beautiful! And, great wines and best eye fillet steak I've had in years!

First time visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing. Best steak we’ve had in a very long time. Lovely staff. It was a public holiday so not much atmosphere but the food more than made up for this. Very enjoyable 👌

Came here tonight with my wife for our 2nd year wedding anniversary! Ordered fried calamari, fish & chips and the scotch fillet. The food tasted like angels from heaven falling right into my mouth. Serene restaurant vibe on a Monday night. Couldn't have asked for more and my wife loves me more than ever!

Came for steak night. We ordered medium rare and it was ok. Meat was lean and flavour was average. The place was quite with just a few tables occupied. You can have your meal in the open bar area (order from bar) or the dining area (table service). Staff was helpful and friendly but a little hard to get attention as they're mainly working in the centre bar area to accommodate both sections.

A nice meal in a nice atmosphere. This facility is wheelchair accessible both to downstairs and upstairs (elevator). There are several seperate areas. Downstairs had a nice atmosphere with both real and faux fireplaces. A bar with beer and cider on tap. Upstairs there is a large inside area, which would suit as a venue for a celebration, or similar. Upstairs there is also a rooftop bar as well as tables and for can be ordered from the upstairs bar. Upstairs there were nice, well maintained, clean bathrooms. When I went for lunch, there was also a young mother's group there who were comfortably breast feeding and changing their babies. Staff were lovely, food was good (calamari was fabulous). There was a nice variety on the menu as well as a daily specials menu. For was reasonably priced. Overall, we had a lovely lunch here and I would visit again.

A little loud, but a nice atmosphere overall. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food delivery was quite slow, but it was a busy time. The ragu was tasty but a little salty. The fish and chips had a good fish batter but a tiny piece of fish, with a wilted salad, and the "chips" were fries that were so flaccid they could have been brought in from Coburg Hungry Jacks the previous day. For what they charged they really should have done better
