Walked in to have a meal at 6.30pm to a DJ playing techno at an annoying level as to stop any conversation . Although booked had to split tables . Steaks came out very well done as were most other meals …. . Atmosphere was just annoying and was happy to walk out asap 😒

Visiting from NSW. Went for a drive and found this nice hotel where we sat outside and we could see the beach and lots of people watching. Had a very yummy lunch and a beer.

Very nice food pleasant staff has a good feel about the place I would recommend it.

Very nice and clean. Week nights are probably the best time to stay as the nightlife is quieter. Or if you prefer the party atmosphere then weekends are great and the prices are good. The rooms don't have ensuites but the shared bathrooms are well fitted and kept clean. We had room 8 which is the corner room overlooking Henley square and the pier.

This review is for the pub and not the hotel rooms:
Delicious pub meal, they have good deals and the chicken parmi is a must on Thursday.
Good outdoor tables for people with dogs and a great sunset views.

This rating is mainly for the new menu. Specially the onion rings ,because it was one of the best in adelaide and its so stupid to take it off from the new menu. Also, there are very few options for Vegetarian people ,clear discrimination.

The food here is magnificent, the service A1 with cheerful staff who go out of their way to accommodate clients (sorry I was a bit needy) and the atmosphere, thanks to the staff is friendly and alive. I will be returning time and time again. Thank you Ramsgate for a wonderful experience. +++

Standard pub with a standard selection of beer.
Cajun frys were just chips with paprika over the top.
Ordering a beer on the table app, took over 25 minutes for it to arrive. Easier to walk into the pub.
Great location, average pub.

Ramsgate for dinner was ok. The "pork belly rasher steak sandwich" is just bacon. Which was nice but had high hopes for amazing porkbelly. Rest of the food was nice. Great views and lovely old building.

Our staff Xmas Party was held here. The event and catering staff were amazing. India did such a great job arranging what was needed for the event. Staff were very pleased with the venue/food - will more than likely use them this year also.

Men’s toilets has been empty of hand soap for the last 2/3 days. Also, food is pretty average!

Kristal was so amazing! such efficient and sufficient service. made us comer’s feel so welcomed despite us being a convenience with the things we asked. said yes to everything and was so kind about it all. 10/10 service

I wish I got let in to actually see what it’s like. Those security guards need to go, rude, disrespectful. Absolutely ruined my night, they labeled me as too intoxicated when I only had 3 drinks

It's a typical pub, it could be a little more special given where it is. Just seems a little impersonal. The meals are huge - if anything too big, drinks are good price. I had the spaghetti marinara, seafood was nice, way too much pasta. Service was efficient.

It is a beautiful hotel with a great view. After travelling around South Australia, I chose this place for the closeness to the airport, the surrounding shops, the beautiful rooms, and the amazing price. The bed feels like sleeping on a marshmallow. I just slept for 11 hours. As a solo traveller, I feel safe, even with the communal bathrooms. There is a locked glass partition to access the accommodation upstairs. The bedroom was beautiful. The verandah overlooking the street and ocean is a great place to just chill out and have a drink and a meal away from the restaurant downstairs. The staff are friendly and efficient. And the meals are amazing.

Im never coming back here ever! People are looking for fights! security guards are rude! And I got blamed for something I didn't do! I'm never coming back here again! Every time I come to this place there's always someone looking for trouble! And the security guards always seem to back the agressor!

Had the best schnitzel here. Bartenders were very friendly, the girl with the brown hair was great. Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing dinner experience on Saturday. Food was so fresh and tasty, I loved the jalapeño cheese balls! I really enjoyed the table service too but it was hard to find someone to pay so we could leave.
Staff were friendly and welcoming in all areas of the venue. Loved the lay out and the location. The live music from a local musician really topped the experience. I’ll be back here again!

Great spot with plenty to drink and eat.
Late night disco with DJ.
Haven't seen drinks specials yet. Will look next time I'm there.
Nice place and clean.
Sports section is great for AFL
Friendly staff which is a bonus.

Great place to stay. Smack bang in the middle of everything. Only let down was no carpark. Had to fight to get one and then only 3 hour parking. They do have a nightclub downstairs, but they supply ear plugs. The noise didn't bother me as our bed was so comfortable I fell asleep straight away. Great price too. The staff are really friendly

Experience on the 3/12/23.
Food is average, but that I can deal with.
The excuse you usually use in response to the negative reviews (“being busy”) won’t work this time.
There is NO excuse to be rude & unresponsive to perfectly nice and respectful customers, ESPECIALLY when you can’t even do your job tasks efficiently.
As it seems they all HATE their job, get another one. It’s pretty simple.
Advice to the manager: hire staff who are happy, don't seem miserable & can actually do their job properly.

Celebrating a special birthday in this lovely location. Unfortunately my meal was absolutely terrible. Had a fillet steak ordered medium rare, it was well past murdered and very bitter with the charred on the out side. So very disappointed unable to eat much of it.
Would not hurry back.

Came here for lunch today, the outdoor tables were absolutely filthy, have definitely not been attempted to be cleaned in a while (sticky and physically dirty). I had the burger which was fairly average and drenched in tomato relish, was cold as well. Chips were good, could have been hotter though.
Took my 15month to the toilets to change nappy, has a change table with no mat so changed him standing. I saw multiple prams with young children/ babies inside and in he outdoor seating and I wouldn't be happy if I had a tiny baby to change.
Wouldn't come back in a hurry.

A headsup; it's (very lovely) pub accommodation in a thriving area. Therefore, logically, it may be noisy.
But the cost, location, renovated shared amenities and glorious view easily balance this.
Our stay was Friday & Saturday. Noise was easily very tolerable, as adequate soundproofing efforts are made in the building. Check-in with a night manager during late hours was easy. They take a safety deposit.
Room was well sized and equipped, clean and fresh. Room service is available in bistro hours (QR code ordering). And we got a complimentary drink card each for booking directly!
Common spaces upstairs were well-stocked for refreshment. Access to verandah for those sea views (though we booked a seaview room). Amenities were newly renovated, spacious and very clean. Best shared bathrooms I have used in my life!
Easy to duck downstairs for lunch or dinner, and a handful of great breakfast places just across the street. Easy to jump in a ride-share out the front and only about 15mins to the CBD. There's expensive paid parking right out front. We parked in a nearby residential street for the 3days we were there.
Extremely happy with our stay at Ramsgate and first experience with Nightcap Social.

After being in Brisbane for the last 18months, we came back to visit our old regular. Thought we would experience the usual high level of service. Guess things have changed. Maybe Wednesday at 5:00pm is a bad time. So disappointed

After arriving at 10pm after a 3hr drive I was not allowed access to the room because the credit card which paid for the accommodation was not in my name as it was a corporate booking. I had my ID with the same details as the itinerary and my own card I said they could use as security but they said they would have to charge my personal card the amount for the room as its company policy. Company policy also says they care about their customers health and well-being but they left me to sleep on the street with a 5am flight incase they got scammed for $200, highly unlikely when it's a corporate booking and I had numerous IDs with my name and address. Sent an email to the site and got a response of sorry for the inconvenience but it's policy, no wonder staff have this arrogance if the management are like this. In every corporate booking the credit card that it's paid for is always going to be different from the travellers as that's what travel agents do they book for other people and I have never had a problem anywhere else in the world.
