What can one say 🤔. The staff are truly amazing and friendly, the management are also awesome and the food served is fresh and tastes absolutely fantastic. I've had dinner here a few times and have never sent anything back ( unlike some places). The pizzas are also some of thw best I have ever tasted. I encourage those who are visiting to give this place a spot on their to do list while here. You won't be disappointed at all. The friendly staff and atmosphere keeps people wanting to come back and most are now regulars here 😀. I don't think I can say anything more positive about Rattle n Hum 😌...

We went here with a group. We called ahead to let them know there was so many of us. The pizza we ordered was decent. The beer was a bit pricey but the atmosphere was great. They had live music and lots of space.

Venue is ok for what it is... big chain pub with burgers and pizzas. We popped in to play the pinball machines but they are close to unplayable.
The Pirates of the Caribbean has none of the GI working... not a single bulb in the back box. All of the upper playfield lights dont work and loads of the switches dont register to the point where it it makes it impossible to use the Port Royal feature. Playfield is absolutely filthy. Right flipper needs some attention too.
Game of Thrones is even worse. The sword on the left ramp lock doesnt work, which is central to the entire game. The dragon shot doesnt work either. Loads of other switches are tempramental too. Lights on 3 of the shots either dont light or just flicker dimly. It also needs a good clean.
Please give these games the attention they deserve.

This place is clearly loved by locals.
Food was tasty, my prime fillet was cooked to perfection. Pizza and salmon was not bad.
Beers were great too. Darts and pool tables available for use. Can be a little dim but it adds to the ambience of the place.
Definitely worth a visit.

The guys down there had great communication within their service. Very down to earth staff making the experience for my family and I just perfect. Cheers guys !

so disappointed! went for dinner, before we even sat down we noticed the music in the back ground was super loud and we were basically yelling to have a conversation (the restaurant side it needs to be turned down so people can have a conversation over dinner) then we started with an order of cob-loaf (no extras) and oysters (natural), cob-loaf is basically a round garlic bread, took this back to the kitchen was told it needed cheese (for what i was wanting) had to pay for a whole other cob-loaf, got the cob-loaf with cheese its a round cheesy garlic bread IT IS NOT A COB LOAF COMPANY NEEDS TO LEARN WHAT A COB LOAF ACTUALLY IS!!! the oysters have to be frozen as they did not have the fresh salty taste. we then ordered raspberry lemonade, tasted like soda water, returned that to the bar and the bar tender gave a fresh jug (she was actually nice and helpful probably the best thing about the place to be honest) with extra raspberry added. we ordered our mains salmon and a Caesar salad, asked for mash and veg with the salmon was told veg is an extra $6 so went with the salad they offered but that had the smallest drizzle of seasoning every, the potato was dry and the salmon was hard and the tail end was full of fat, the Caesar salad had no dressing at all and the croutons were hard as rock and huge, didn't even attempt the dessert as by then we were over it, really wasted $120

Rattle n Hum Cairns Esplanade: A Must-Visit for Great Food, Drinks, Live Music, and Atmosphere!! That's my review in a nutshell....
I had the pleasure of dining at Rattle n Hum Cairns Esplanade in late July this year. I was part of a group that was up from Melbourne. Personally I was blown away by the experience. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, the beers were cold and refreshing, the food was amazing, and the live music was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone having a good time.
I started my meal with a cold beer and the wood-fired pepperoni pizza. The pizza was simply the best I've ever had in the world (8 countries worth anyway). The crust was perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I could have easily eaten two of them! I should have ordered two, because my mates ate most of mine :(
I also ordered a side of fries, which were crispy and delicious. Also on the side, I stole some of my mates slow cooked BBQ pork ribs..... Absolutely brilliant!! I took some pics of the various dishes we got. Not a single complaint from anyone :)
After dinner, I enjoyed a few more drinks and listened to the live music. The 3 piece band was excellent, and they really got the crowd going. I had such a great time that I didn't want to leave!
I highly recommend Rattle n Hum Cairns Esplanade to anyone looking for a great place to eat, drink, and have a good time. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is electric. Be sure to try the wood-fired pepperoni pizza - it's the best you'll ever have!
I've told all my friends in Melbourne and Sydney to visit this establishment when in Cairns. It turns out that one of my friends met his current wife there as well :)
Even though the staff was extremely busy, they always had a smile and a positive attitude with everyone.
Ensure that you eat your pizza first before your mates tuck into it!
Cheers RnH, can't wait to come back!! If I lived in Cairn's I'd most certainly be a regular.

Great pub food choices
Beer from the tap could of been colder
Plenty of seating options from outside in the beer garden to inside watching sport on the big screen
Pizzas were flying out the oven. I ordered vegetarian which had far too much sauce/dressing
Arcade games, pool table available too

Not bad, but not fantastic. Seems to be a very busy and popular place to be. Pizza was a bit soggy through the middle and crust was stiff as cardboard. A steep $62 feed

Nice spacious lively sports bar. We walked by and saw the brick pizza oven so went in for a drink and snack. The bartender was super nice and helpful. We ordered Pepperoni pizza and a jug of beer. Pizza was very bad. Worse than a frozen pizza. But the jug of beer at reasonable price was the redeeming factor.

Love to eat and have a drink at R n H whenever we go to Cairns. Beer is cold food is good. People are friendly. Especially love the Thai green curry prawn pizza.

I wanted to order a pizza prosciutto. First they passed us around in the restaurant and told us different places where we can pay. After paying the pizza it took some time to get ready. Sadly we got a very bad pizza who looked nothing like a pizza prosciutto and looked like straight out of the microwave. This is not a pizza prosciutto and definitely not worth the price

It’s a very cool looking place, but it’s super weird the way you have to order drinks, pizza and other food completely separate. The food was yummy and the drinks were good. The staff was nice and friendly and food came out quickly.

In town for the night. Wanted to watch the league game. It was on the big screen, which was great. Just with nightclub music playing as the sound. So, it's not a sports bar. Perhaps do not advertise you have the game on the big screen if you are not going to have the sound. Pizza and burger/chips for dinner. The food was OK but not fantastic for the price. Think it's more a nightcub not an actual food spot. The young crowd would possibly enjoy it more.

In Cairns as apart of a package tour for 4 nights. Two good nights here and spot on food with good service at a reasonable price. Happy our 5 till 7 and spot on pizza and ribs. Interesting one way window in the mens toilet. Thanks and well worth a visit. 👍👍🍺🍺

Have dined here twice in the past week and have been satisfied with both experiences.
Items ordered:
Bruschetta Pizza - Great flavour and a thin crispy base with all that you’d expect of a classic bruschetta apart from the rocket! An enjoyable pizza albeit possibly a little on the sweet side with the excessive use of balsamic.
Meat Feast (Does have another name but I can’t recall) - Again, a great base due to the wood fire pizza oven they use and blathered in different meats and bbq sauce. Not a great deal more to say, it tasted great and was cooked well.
Cheeseburger Loaded Fries - Hot plate of average chips covered in ground beef, cheese, onions and burger sauce. A tasty sharing plate that went down well but the chips could have been better.
Buffalo Wings - Great flavour buffalo sauce slathered over a decent portion of wings served with ranch and a couple chunks of carrot and celery. The veg on the side was a nice palate cleanser and the wings were cooked well although not the best. Definitely went down the hatch well enough but could have been better. Ranch dip needs improvement though, I do like a good ranch and this one didn’t cut it for me.
Overall vibe is fantastic, lots of outdoor and indoor seating, good music, well priced drinks along with pool tables and a sports bar esque feel with large screens showing current games of different sports.
Overall a great venue and definitely recommend going.

Music is awesome and seating is like your on a ship ... we didn't have food but atmosphere was great

Had a lovely lunch! The food was tasty and super fresh, and was ready super quick! My coke was crisp, squid was squid-tacular, and the chips were absolutely amazing, great crunch and flavour! My boyfriend loved his pizza as well. 10/10

Great place for bar type of food. Portions were gigantic, and hard to finish. They were also delicious. The location is wonderful, just in the busiest point of Cairns. We ordered parma chicken and slow cooked lamb pasta, which were both great. Recommended.

Had a great time. Food was great and everything was fairly priced.
Just be aware there is no table service. Because they are always flat out busy, you haven’t to find yourself a menu, a table and order at the counter. Not necessarily an inconvenience, just notable.

Great atmosphere in the bar, lively. There are plenty of tv screens up to watch the sports. Staff helpful and friendly. Food was delicious and portions generous. Ordered the chicken parma and chips with gravy... reasonable prices and happy hours always appreciated. Overall enjoyed the evening.

Food was great. Got fire breather pizza, wings, pesto alfredo, burger, and fries. Wings were good but not hot, so if you’re looking for hot these aren’t the ones. Burger was big and flavorful. Pizza was spicy and delicious. Pesto pasta was some of the best we’ve had. All of the staff were very nice and food came quick. Nice atmosphere as well.

Food is excellent had Black Angus fillet steak the first normally I'd have well done asked for medium to well came out medium but looked superb so I ate it and was not disappointed it was superb. Second night had the black Angus fillet steak burger again cooked medium and so tender and juicy fries were great highly recommend you give Rattle and Hum a visit you won't be disappointed. The only reason I gave a 3 for the service as it was busy they have 2 bars but only one side open and it took longer than it should have to get drinks, food came out in good time though.

Enjoyed the t-bone and rib fillet steaks, mushroom sauce, chips, and salad. The steak was cooked to perfection. The drinks were cold, but the bar closed while diners were packed, and only later did we figure out that there was another side bar open.

Brilliant food, service and atmosphere. I've been staying in Cairns for a week and had 3 dinners here. All have been great. Beer selection is also great. Recommended.

Being a tourist we thought of trying it only because it looked extremely busy and was located conveniently over looking the waters. I must say we were extremely satisfied with the decision of trying it. This place offers some great variety of wood fired pizzas and pub meal. Ordered pizza and wings and both were divine. Despite busy extremely busy the service was very quick. Will strongly recommend.
