Yes that was a nice meal for me to be telling everyone who I know that you can go there for a very cheap price (hey the cheapest hotel that I know)

Wonderful place to meet together and to enjoy great food in a great atmosphere. The $13 specials are truely fantastic value not to mention the salad selection which comes free with your meal. Top marks for everything! God Bless and well done. 🤩 #BrucesPlanet

What an awesome night we had at the Red Lion Hotel the food was great and really well priced. The band Gemstone Live Music was fantastic making us want to dance and sing the night away. As for the staff they couldn’t do enough for us all.
Down to earth hotel with welcoming and unique vibe. Great for a relaxed good food good vibe type of night.

Was the worse experience ever, me and my Daughter had ordered a chicken snitzel only to be served up a snitzel that had been cut up and only half to both of us,so between my daughters plate and mine it would have been a full snitzel altogether.

The steak on the rock is the best.
Nice renovation
Salad and veg bar is nice, but they run out of rolls often.

The Red Lion Hotel offers a great gaming room, a place to have a few drinks with friends and I discovered my new favourite dish Salt-N-Pepa squid, soft tasty and delicious, the staff are always friendly, kind and helpful

The meals are cheap and taste like it. Very disappointed with the service and food today. Most of the items on the menu including the roast of the day was unavailable. The soup was watery. The mashed potatoes arrived with chunky unmashed and half cooked pieces of potato. Coffee was cold. The food slopped messily into bowls (not plates). Won't be back. Shame because I had heard good reviews.

Really impressed with the $10 lunch specials - 7 days a week. We've tried the steak sandwich, fish, calamari, beef and chicken schnitzel and roast of the day. All great for the miniscule price.
There is a small salad and vegetable buffet but it varies a lot from day to day.
The bistro is clean, spacious and relatively quiet. Plenty of parking.
The main menu has a really good variety of foods not always seen on pub menus - croc tails, venison and kangaroo.
Drinks aren't pricey either. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Well worth a try.

Rang and booked a table. When we arrived they couldn't find our booking. Managed to get a table anyway. We ordered crumbed cauliflower to eat before our meals. Crumb was very pasty and cauliflower cold. Meals came out in a reasonable time. I cut through the middle of my chicken kiev and and it was completely raw. I notified a staff member who apologised. I asked for the salt and pepper squid instead. Still no joy. All i could taste was the flour they had dredged it in. It was totally inedible. Hubby had the stonegrill which didn't disappoint. I guess because he got to cook his own. I left hungry. Needless to say. We won't be back and we certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Purchased the Vietnamese salad and the chicken was pink. Pointed this out to the waiter who took the meal back and that was it.
No meal returned cooked or maybe a free desert.
Nope nothing.
Friend went to get a brandy.
No brandy. lol. It’s a pub.
Won’t be going back in hurry.

Paid $39 for a 300 pound porthouse steak medium done by the chef. Pretty sure it wasn't a 300 gram porthouse steak though and was cooked well done and was very tough so not really too happy as expecting it to beva little juicy.
Chips were pretty decent though and salad bar pretty reasonable. Next time I'll choose the stone if i go back.

Normally they’re okay but tonight I wasn’t happy with my experience. We ordered a stone grill and a chicken parmy. A group of 4 came in after me and my partner had already ordered. They received their schnitzels and their stone grills before my partner and I even thought we had ordered first and there were only two of us. My parmy also had a horrible taste and big chunks of capsicum on it which I didn’t like.

My Husband ordered the Red lion burger for dinner, it came out super fast. Half way through eating it he reliesed the patty was raw. Did not get an apology or a replacement or refund.

Lions Club of Angle Vale members held our Dinner/Social night at the Red Lion Hotel on Woodford Road, Elizabeth North last night.
The stone grill steaks were absolutely the best!!! Service of our meals was very prompt and the staff very helpful and friendly. Good salad and veg buffet.
Would certainly recommend trying the meals here. Everyone went home very happy 😊😊.

I love the red lion. Staff are so friendly and provide amazing service. Food is great and cheap prices compared to a lot of places. Kids eat free weekends. Great place to take the family for dinner if you don’t have a huge budget red lion is the place to go.

Have been here several times over the last several months. Love the food and atmosphere. Friday nights are great. Happy hour goes 4-8, the have free meat tray raffles, booze bingo, $6 pints. Complimentary smorgasbord with each meal purchase. $10 lunch specials with decent portions. All you can eat breakfast on Saturdays for 10 bux. Love their pizza nights too. Have rocked up close to closing several times and have always been accommodated. Came today and they were fully booked and they squeezed me in at the pole seat in the middle which is what I get for not booking I suppose 😀

Food was awesome tonight, bought potato skins, chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy, schnitzel burger and a steak.
Potato Skins could've been crunchier but the flavour was there, fresh as hell too.
Schnitzel was amazing, juicy, fresh and gravy was awesome.
Burger and steak were good too, schnitzel was TOP TIER.

Food & staff are excellent I always come to the red lion for a store grill steak but always end up taking some home as I can't always eat it all.

Fantastic meals for the $13 lunch special, with salad and veggie bar included. Amazing, friendly and very welcoming staff who make you feel like a local even if your aren't.
Try the chicken and lamb AB.

Fantastic customer service, and great feeds in a good honest aussie pub. We were well accommodated when we hired out the bistro for a 90th party, will return 🤙🤙

Depends on when you come and who’s working as to the service you’ll get. Regular staff are good, very high staff turnover seems like there’s always someone new to remember… need more chairs in beer garden. Beers cold, lines clean, good banter amongst regular patrons and staff. Security very nice. If you want a nice family atmosphere go during the day, if you wanna see Tweakers of Adelaide go to the gaming room after 1am. Staff quick to shut down any rubbish if you just inform them of it, they’re busy and can’t babysit you to make sure someone doesn’t approach you for $5 lol. Can go here alone as a female at any time and feel safe, make a bunch of friends (if you’re social).

Always drove passed it never went in until today for lunch, great service and specials pricing was good, first time my child ever ate his nuggets and normally at a pub they only serve about 3 but he got 6 and ate them all must be a good chef working. Definitely will go back

A lovely pub. Guess what..? Weekdays 12-2pm they serve $5 meals when you buy a drink! Tasty, good quality $5 menu, several choices. Clean facilities. Staff friendly. I can recommend the calamari! So tender and delish..
