We've been coming to this pub for over 20 years but recently my husband had the worst experience there. He was overcharged and when he pointed it out politely the manager reacted appallingly. She was demeaning and rude, then she became downright abusive. Absolutely terrible experience. Would appreciate someone from Senior Management contacting us to discuss.

We had a wonderful meal tonight
Easy parking, great service, great atmosphere. We used QR code ordering and were impressed with how quick and efficient it is to use.
We will return to try other meals

We attended this place tonight for dinner as it’s local to home, if I could give a 0 star rating I would, definitely one of the worst meals I’ve had in near a decade, and to top it off the duty manager didn’t seem to care about the quality of food nor interested in a resolution, my best advice to anyone is to avoid this place if you’re after a quality meal, definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had in quite a while! Time to lift your game Redland Bay Hotel

“We are busy attending to other amazing customers”… Wow I need to ask a question of a human only to get that message and be hung up on. Well done on customer service.
“Something for everyone” as a slogan is not really accurate. The menu is very limited. The food was not bad but somewhat overpriced. I don’t know if I will be coming back.r
Edited to respond: It was 4pm-5pm that I was trying to call. Not exactly your busiest times. You weren’t going to email me back in that time. As for your menu why are burgers and the steak sandwich suddenly a lunchtime only offering for example?

Valentines dinner... we had 4 flies hanging around our table... spent the whole experience swatting flies... red velvet cake was delicious... need to keep this as a regular offering... steak was beautifully cooked... however received a side of carrot... not everyone likes carrot... and there was alot of carrot. Always plenty of staff... they are great at clearing plates and cups off tables and pleasant to interact with... please do something about the flies

Unfortunate experience today. Been coming for years with my father but today was unpleasant
Father ordered 2 of the seniors fish and chips, using his seniors card was asked if we wanted the barramundi grilled or battered. We chose and the cashier said the total would be $46 and my father paid, I pointed it out that we were over charged so we went back to the cashier. This wasn’t a major issue and we were brought over to a different section to be fixed up by the manager. From the get go we were told we ordered wrong and that the normal fish and chips wasn’t discounted. We then stated that we didn’t order that but the seniors hence why he produced his card and the card number was taken down. The manager struggled with reimbursing so I said we were about to buy 2 beers we could just pay the difference but she told us no and to go sit outside once again rudely ( my father said I didn’t order a side salad of arrogance.Dad went and got 2 beers and we sat down outside. Eventually the manager came out with the cash difference and stated that quite rudely that next time remember that barramundi is not on the seniors menu and walked off. I grabbed a menu again and my dad took it up to show the manager it on the menu. She proceeded to then kick him out of the venue and told him we weren’t welcome inside again. She then proceeded to stand up on the deck watching over us until our food arrived my Dad asked the waiter to confirm that it was actually barramundi that we ordered and he said yes. The manager then decided to yell out in front of everyone you can both get off the premises when we had finished our food. We left as we finished.
If after pointing out an error politely, then getting told we ordered wrong treated like he was senile and talked to like he was a child, I think his arrogance comment was quite appropriate. I don’t believe to then be once again told misinformation which he went to clear up that our behaviour was warranted to be kicked out. Food was brilliant, other staff were completely fine but the whole experience was ruined as the manager got it wrong and instead of copping it on the chin and then even given a simple solution. Chose to make it an issue. I understand that harassment and verbally assaulting workers is an obvious reason to be kicked, but definitely not what had been done
Will definitely be back again as usual as have always came for a beer, fish and chips and a yarn
Unless we’ve now made it on some banned list

The team are very good
the council unfortunately allowed a massive building to block the water views which is disgusting&my guess anyone living there will kill the entertainment they supply too.
A hugh menu of all foods so something for all
Very busy so book on Sundays

Staff lovely and efficient
Ambience galore. Nice vibe on a gorgeous sunny Saturday.
Food hit and miss. Graziers Steak sandwich declared a winner. Fisherman’s catch dreadful. Had anticipated that the seafood would be fresh but unfortunately frozen and tasteless. $36 wasted. What were those crab thingys? Awful.
Would recommend but avoid the seafood basket.

Service was slow and tables near us weren't cleared which attracted a whole flock of bin chickens whose frenzy was very off putting. This happened twice while we were there. The food was underwhelming considering the prices are higher than elsewhere and the music was too loud and impossible to get away from. We were there for lunch not a late revelry. Trying to catch up with friends who couldn't hear what we were saying. Very frustrating. Unnecessary to have hard rock playing at that time of day. Staff have no clue of the meaning of hospitality. We were there for lunch June 11 2024.

Robyn was the best server for the night and the guy with blonde Curls with a good smile. They were very nice and friendly and gave us a good laugh. Would recommend 100%

Re-visited Hotel on Sunday 26/03/2023 and as per last visit 2 years ago, had a great time, food delicious, staff friendly and attentive. Sat outside with live music - solo guitar player/singer which provided great atmosphere over looking bay on sunset. 10/10.. Nailed it!
Great pub overlooking Moreton Bay Islands. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Menu selection outstanding and prices very reasonable. Went NYE and even though it was busy, the meals came out quite quick. Steak chargrilled very delicious and cooked to perfection. Adheres to Covid regulations and as a health care worker, I felt completely safe dining there.

Redland Bay Tavern is an family favorites of ours. always has great specials on and the food is really tasty great for holding events like birthdays or wakes. prices are really fair and the place looks amazing especially after all the renovations were finished. sadly there is only one minor complaints to make the first being that the last few times I have been there the food has been finished but left in the Kitchen myself and whoever I'm with have had to go up and ask staff if it ready and by the time it gets to us its cold/Luke warm. other than that the Redland Bay hotel is amazing

Place was busyish when we dropped in but we managed to find a table and park fairly easily.
Food was alright. My schnitzel was ok. A bit dry and rubbery but edible. Pizza was good.

No water available at the drinks station. Asked for a side of nuggets for a meal and told cant be done. Chorizo and prawn pasta was very dry, was lacking sauce. Prawns were the best part of the dish. Slow cooked beef and bacon pie disappointed. Ordered and receieved mince and bacon. Slow cooked, we would have expected chunks of beef not beef mince. Kids were impressed with their meals.

Loved this place. Wish there was a water view with those overgrown trees.
The food I had was yummy and their service is excellent specially a young hardworking man called Cael! Keep up the great work Cael!

Had my usual go to with a hangover, chicken parmy and my friend got the fish. Her fish was excellent and perfectly cooked. My parmy was good but not excellent. Both the chips and salad were fresh and crisp.

Had a family lunch at the Redibay hotel and it was delicious. My husbands steak cooked perfectly, my father-in-law had the barra and l had the trout burger. Great menu and great meals.

Great place, good atmosphere and food. When on a nice walk through forest. Didn’t like salad dressing. Took forever for food to arrive. Other than that very good. Very good for kids.

Great food (excellent eye fillet), easy parking, normal prices for good pubs. Very busy, but easy to book ahead. Great atmosphere. We'll be back regularly.

Food was pretty good and quick to come out. We were there for a Saturday lunch with friends and was pretty busy. Recommend to book a table like we did. Have had better, would I go back... I would but not for awhile.

Beautiful atmosphere. Food took quite a bit but it was expected as it was a busy night. The food was worth the wait, we had 2 market fish, delicious and didn't need any seasoning. Friendly staffs and highly recommended.

Atmosphere was great! People watching was the best part. Had to order and pay from phone. No condiments, found out after I ate. You could go get some of your own. The surf and turf was under seasoned and a tad over cooked. But non the less it was good!

Always a good place to go for a feed. Food does sometimes get a bit average on occasion but overall very good and well presented.
The ribs are constantly good I think they shrunk in size recently but pizza has always been awesome.

A Heritage Building , it’s a must if you are anywhere near here .. Sports bar is full of colourful character’s .. Helpful and pleasant staff
