Wow the best fish and chips evvveerrr at reasonable prices

We loved our spa room with balcony and view over the harbour. Location was great. Rodney was friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our meals. Service and atmosphere great. We didn’t stay overnight so can’t comment on accommodation.

Visited for dinner on Saturday Evening. When we walked in the front of the dining room had an over powering smell of mould. We ordered and food came quickly which was great. The food was fine, however it has been much better in the past. We come here at least once every 3 Months when we visit and it seems to be really sliding downhill. The staff were not warm and friendly (with the exception of the young kids who were bringing the food out) - I said thank you twice to the ladies at the bar as we left and they didn’t even look up. I wouldn’t normally care but it really disappointing to see how much it’s slipped here.

This pub has so much to offer, friendly staff, good food, fun atmosphere and amazing views. Well done to the manager for the experience

The restaurant is wonderful with one of the best waiters ever and that’s where the good things end. We stayed 3 nights and no housekeeping came near our room even after telling them there was a stain on the sheet. The bathroom is atrocious. Shower head filthy, huge step in to shower. Toilet rickety. Sink crazed, stained and dirty. Mirror has age and water damage for about 3 inches at the bottom. There was a clump of hair and dirty piece of toilet roll behind the door. The bed was horrid. Bedside table had rubbish in the drawer. . Facilities for tea and coffee not fillled up, no cups/mugs, no spoons. Whole room very old and sad. The balcony was nice so that was the only plus. The cleaners and hotel staff were uninterested in my discussion. Eat here. Great restaurant but don’t stay. Very sad.

Staff friendly & accommodating, rooms a let down, bathroom embarrassing. The best part was dinner downstairs & the view from the balcony out off the room.

Popular place to eat & drink in Robe!
Happy hour during the weekdays, good food menu on offer.
Pricing is fair, servings are good so a good night was had by all.
$12.50 for Garlic bread is quite ridiculous though when every other place is $8-$10.

Nice renovations and the staff are lovely.
Wish we could give a better review of our meals.
The chilli crab pasta was too hot, the salt and pepper squid was undercooked and the confit leek pasta was too oily. Overpriced for the quality

My wife and I had lunch here on our way back home just after Easter. My wife had the soup of the day and I had the blue swimmer crab spaghetti. The soup was parsnip, apple and cumin. It was that loaded up with cumin my wife could only eat a couple of spoonfuls of it and left the rest for me. My spaghetti had no trace of crab in it anywhere and was loaded up with chilli which killed whatever other tastes were in the meal. After this we went to the local bakery and bought things that were both tasty and edible. It is a real shame as Robe is a great place but the hotel needs to seriously look at the way they do their meals as a lot of people like us don't like very spicy food. The spices were the main ingredient of both our meals.

My family and I had lunch at the Robe Hotel on the weekend. The food was amazing, one of the best schnitzel we’ve had. The hotel is renovated beautifully and the atmosphere was lovely. We would highly recommend and will be back.

Meals/ bistro review: Great food! I had a late dinner, relieved to find the kitchen was still open at 8pm. Salt &Pepper Squid was superb, cooked and seasoned just right - melted in the mouth. Duck spring rolls also tasty, however the standout on both was the slaw/salads! they were both so fresh and tasty - so nice to find something delightful that complimented the meal and wasn’t just the standard 3day old lettuce & tomato. Service was adequate, hit & miss between staff. Matty at the bar was great.

Manager saved the day. Booked in advance and arrived early on the day to ensure there was plenty of lobster special for my wife and I. Even proposed to order early to ensure they did not sell out, but was told there were plenty. Until 20 minutes after I ordered when a waiter with leg tattoos (I don't care to know his name) informs us there is only 1 lobster special left. On probing a bit he says there are no more - he even asks do we expect him to go out and catch one? So we escalate to the manager who arranged to go out and catch one! So very satisfied in the end but some unnecessary angst from old mate - I know its probably been a tough and busy period after Christmas but my suggestion is if you don't like hospitality, change jobs rather than smart mouth customers. Otherwise a trainee young man who took our order was far more obliging. Seemed there were a lot of trainees that day who didn't know many specials etc. but that's fine since they were polite and happy to help.

Location is beautiful

Prices on the food menu a bit pricey
A gorgeous fireplace is located on the other side of the bar.

Just finished a positively fabulous Tasting Australia Local Produce Tasting Dinner here at the recently refurbished dining space at the Robe Hotel. Excellent menu, flawlessly presented and seamlessly delivered by the kitchen and serving staff. Generous servings of delicious food, paired with superb local wine. The best value for money dining experience in living memory.

Just a couple of things ..i could not understand why the cutlery was not brought out at the same time as the meals ..i mean seriously she was only bringing out the meals 1 @ a time and then we had to wait for the cutlery to come ... then the fork i had was dirty had not been checked and was covered in egg ...that was gross .. lucky for me i saw it and stopped myself from getting food poisoning .... now the food was good we all enjoyed our meal but i do think my salt pepper squid was more salt than any pepper ... the location is beautiful ..on a sunny day you can really relax and enjoy the views you can see

it is a great location , right on the beachfront, Very basic accommodation with , the ensuite units in dire need of an upgrade with regards to the toilet/shower facility ; the room was roomy and the beds very comfortable though. We booked with the Hotel but weren't informed that the restaurant/bistro was closed down for renovations which put a bit of a dampener on our stay.

I found the service to be outstanding with the clientele great fun to mix with. Prices for beer and wine were excellent value.
Was made to feel at home and the meat tray draw was a great fund raiser for the local LIONS team. I had two meals there and the battered fish and beef schnitzel were good value and delicious. My friend had the chicken party and the biggest ever seen. Sure to go again next time in Robe.

Had lunch here, didn't stay at the hotel. Wedges were pretty good although could do with a bit more seasoning and there was a slight fishy taste, but that's probably just because they are cooked in the same oil as the fish.

Great views, fireplace. A little more expensive foods. "deconsteucted cheese cake-type fare. etc. Yum crab pasta

Great selection of beers and local wines.
Food was above average. The chilli crab pasta packed some serious heat. Could have been better.
Modern furniture and looks like the place has been recently done up. Has a bottle'o attached for takeaway booze

Great location! This hotel is a nice place to stay, the beach views from the balcony are amazing. The food is good and the service, from Mr. David, was outstanding. I do recommend this hotel and will stay again soon :)

Good selection of wines to go with the normal beer and spirits. The food is tasty but I would have appreciated a couple of vegetarian meals (maybe a vegan ?). They are pet-friendly which is nice and there is a multitude of seating areas indoors, outdoor there is a beer garden, a balcony overlooking the beer garden and outside the front so you can watch the world go by.

Fabulous pub directly opposite beach. Staff were amazing and food was great - big portions and great value.
David the manager looked after us and made us feel at home.

Enjoyed dinner here very much. The beef schnitzels were massive and the meat was so tender. Absolutely delicious. So impressed! The kids meals were great too! Beautiful ocean views for dinner!

Driving through and stopped here for lunch. Does this building have a mouse problem? The smell in the dining room was so bad, I can't stress how bad! The food was welcomed because it would help hide the smell of the room, and the food was ok. But when i finished my meal.... I had to leave, it just smelled like mice. Could not wait to leave. Looked clean thought.
