Wonderful little bistro just off the main highway worth stopping in for a counter meal on your way to the coast

What a great place for lunch, food was great and the atmosphere was lovely, sat outdoors for lunch and had the magies join us for lunch.

Typical country town RSL/Bowling club experience. The food was cheap snd cheerful and the decor mid 70's. It was the only thing open on Boxing day in Robertaen so it was this or nothing. Staff were good and the meals more than passable. I was with a large group and everyone finished their meals so that was something. I had the Salt and Pepper squid which was very nice. I think if you go not expecting the world you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This place is opposite the railway station. People who arrive on the Cockatoo Run and do not want to walk 15 plus mins each way to other places to eat while waiting to return to Central will go there.
They have a 'special' menu which isn't that cheap, neither is their regular menu.
With only 1 chef, they take so long for orders to come out, some people have to rush eating their food in order to get back to the train in less than 30mins.

The president of this club is disrespectful and seems to believe because he walks on stilts he can stand over people as he pleases, the staff were nice and food was okay but they should definitely upgrade their menu

Stopped to camp overnight and enjoyed friendly service, a delicious meal and space for our kids to run around outside.

Quiet Bowlo' with a nice community atmosphere. Saturday evening dinner is the real Robbo flavour. Family friendly. Lots of locals eat & drink here. Forget Robertson Inn... this Bowlo is the real deal. Good bar prices. Friendly staff. My only wish is that it had a couch bowling green.
A cruisey peaceful place for a beer. Order a beer & take a look at the member's nicknames on the slab raffle board. Very funny. True Aussie watering hole. A delight. A+

Our RV group had a very pleasant meal here one weekend. They handled the larger group very well and the food was delightful. A pleasant rural club worth a visit.

My chicken schnitzel was overcooked. Fish & chips were good. Chef definitely needed help in bistro. Staff were friendly.

I was invited to see the Raging Bull Cover Band.
I really liked the Bowling Club set up, atmosphere and menu.
Plenty of space for meals and to get up and dance.
Enjoyed the band very much.

Had lunch here today as went on Cockatoo Train Ride Saturday 24th April.
So helpful when we booked to make reservation, and when we got to Bowling Club, helped us find our reserved table.
So close to Robertson Train station which is good as not able to walk far.
Walked in to a very clean club, easy to scan QR code. So nice and warm.
My husband had Southern Blue Whiting with salad and chips. He said it was very nice and I agree as got to have some.
I had Chicken sausages with creamy mushroom sauce with salad and chips. Loved the meal not the salad as I'm not much into dressing in my salad. But my husband ate it.
We didn't have to wait long for our lunch
Would definitely eat here again.

Great food at an inexpensive price, very generous portions. Plus the free camping space behind the pub is a bonus for us off grid campers. BEWARE OF THE POKIE ROOM, I never seem to learn 😂

Great club for a smallish country town. Very good bistro food. Make it a stopover place. Cheap fuel at the modern local servo too.

Food was very nice with a large range and good portion sizes. Staff friendly and accommodating. Glad to have finally tried this place - will be back

Dinner last night was terrific from entering the Robertson Bowling Club ... my first visit.
The team were excellent and even though we were guests encouraged to join the activities ...
There was no rushing to choose our meals. The range of menu ... from a salad to having steak, seafood to roast. The accommodation for those to who have an alternate choices e.g GF.
I certainly would return to this venue to have a meal.

A warm and inviting place. Friendly staff. Bec was great. Food was delicious. Shout out to young chef. Good beer choices and all reasonably priced. Will be back!

absolutely wonderful! accommodated our christmas party. great food, kitchen really pumped out those plates and serving staff were efficient and attentive. very easy to work with. highly recommend for groups in the future. hope to see you again in the new year!
