Went for dinner while down for State Champs Rugby from the North West. Great atmosphere, meals blew us away ( seafood baskets and spaghetti bol) quick and friendly service!! Highly recommend

We miss the old Robin Hood!
It’s been 3 years since we moved from the orange area, the Robin Hood was our go to pub! We recently visited and it was nothing like our favourite pub that we remembered.
The place had been completely renovated, the massive playground redone, messy tables, white washed, long waits, full of people who had no spacial awareness or concern for anyone else in the pub and the service wasn’t as friendly as we remember.
This is not the same pub who reopened the kitchen for our family for lunch just after leaving the hospital with our second baby or that we went to Christmas Eve for a feed with a relaxed, warm, family orientated atmosphere.
No longer that down to earth pub. If you’re after something a bit more posh, fancy, freshly renovated and still family friendly then it’d be a perfect choice! Food was still great 👍🏻

We go here regularly as a family. The food is good value and the service is always friendly. I almost always order steak and it's cooked to how I like it every time. The indoor play area is a big draw, especially in Orange winters.
They have their own parking however it can get limited on Friday and Saturday nights. As far as I've noticed there are only two disability spaces in a car park that takes up almost an entire block.
The only thing I'd personally change is stricter ruling on the "parents are to supervise their own children" policy. We have children ourselves however for couples, the elderly, etc. it must get loud and busy with children running everywhere.

We always get the best service from the sports bar. Jodie is a superstar. She remembered our names and preferences from the first day we met her. My Mum and I often call in after completing our list of jobs. This lady always has a smile on her face and greets us beautifully. Cant speak highly enough of her. If I was still in business, I would poach her from you!

Was just wondering where the rest of my chips were with my surf and turf. Also the beef ribs ( ribs being a plural ) only came with one rib.
One of our other meals was the pork belly salad, and the pork belly was dry as hell.

Very quick service. All the food exactly as we asked. Delicious, hot, fresh, cooked perfectly. Highly recommended. Play area for kids too.

There were so many kids running around inside and under foot. Luckily the people I was meeting up for a drink were sitting outside.

Poorly cooked 300g scotch fillet steak that was seared and burnt. For $44, I was sorely disappointed by the quality of the steak - was so 'seared' that it was overwhelmingly acrid, bitter and had none of the flavours expected from that pricepoint.
Cheese/pineapple + Veg pizzas are apparently decent and happy with large size of salad.

Playground was great to keep the young kids occupied so we got to enjoy dinner and drinks. Nice big serving sizes. Food was ok - standard pub fare at the expected price. Recommend coming here if on Orange and need a dinner place for the family! Make sure you book if coming on a Friday/Saturday night.

Nice venue, however we go there for a feed and the food is terrible. The servings are getting smaller. Snitty is ok but order anything away from the western norm and it will be a disappointment. The pizzas are bland also. If you would like a great feed go to the Ophir!!! We won’t be coming back which is a shame as this place is close by.

My last visit was the worst I have ever had at the hood. I waited for 1hr for my dinner, it was busy, so I was trying to allow for that. I enquired about why it was taking so long, to find out my buzzer was flat. I was told they would cook me a fresh meal. But it was clearly reheated, and not well. I had previously always had good experiences with the food. Saldy I won't be in a hurry to return.

Meals are large and reasonably priced, and they came out quite quickly for the amount of people there. Club like atmosphere.

Large bistro type restaurant with plenty of seating. Great design in placing the indoor playground in the middle surrounded by glass panel so can comfortably sit around and still watch the kids. Reasonable lunch specials Mon to Fri
- grilled barramundi $19
- tradies mix $20
- chicken schnitzel $16
- vegetarian burger not part of lunch specials and very average.
Also ladies toilets near the playground are new with two spacious baby change tables.

I want to give a a shout out to Taylor who works here. I had just come from visiting a dear friend who has dementia and I burst into tears at the bar.
What a beautiful caring person Taylor is.. this is the type of employee who needs recognition cos these are the sort of people that we all need in our lives..

Its a bit out of The way but that means lots of parking. Its changed a bit over the years. The bisto had an inside glassed in covered area for kids to play in so family orientated. Food - wide range and decently sized. I assume the traditional bar with pokies and tab is on the other side . Also has a drive through

Great spot for dinner with kids. The information playground is fantastic, enclosed and lots of seating nearby to keep them in your line of sight. Food was great. We went on a Sunday evening, it was a bit quieter, service was spot on and food was tasty!

Great place to take the kids or grandparents. Easy access if you have mobility problems. The food was good. Indoor playground for kids. I had a rump with chips and salad, which was hard to fault. Will dine there again.

Great for kids with the playground. Large open eating venue and exceptionally noisy, to be expected in a family bistro. Quite a wait to order the food, served quickly once ordered. The meals are ordinary at best, and although extremely busy if you have enough tables to cater for patrons, have enough staff to prepare tasty food that is cooked well.

Food quality is terrible. Have dined here in 2022 and it was great. Serving sizes were big and the quality was awesome. Not sure what's happened since but none of our steaks were cooked right (both the medium rares were well done and the well done was rare!). Orders were messed up and the general quality was very poor considering the prices.
Only reason it doesn't get 1 star is the kids playground is pretty good.

Food is ok, not great or terrible. The big drawcard was the large sheltered play area (in addition to the small playroom inside).
I say "was" because we were gutted to show up one night only to find that it's been removed in favour of pokies. Not really any point in us going back, but I'm sure they'll get more profits from gamblers than the meals we'd have.

Booked here for dinner as have children who love to play in the playground. Specifically asked for a table near playground for the children. When we arrived the playground was closed without even a courtesy call making us aware of closed playground. Food is nice for pub food but better customer service would be appreciated.

Been three times, never enjoyed the food, quantity is good, but not flavoursome. Only plus is it's spacious, but if you want tasty pub food, go elsewhere.

Been here many times. Always very happy overall. Atmosphere is very comfortable, great service, food is always spot on and the kids love the play area.
