"Wow, what an incredible dining experience! From start to finish, our visit to you guys exceeded all expectations. Let's start with the star of the show - the food. The chicken parmi and fish and chips were simply outstanding. Cooked to perfection, each dish showcased the skill and passion of the BOH (Back of House) team. The chicken parmi was beautifully tender with a crispy golden crust, smothered in just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The fish and chips were equally delightful - crunchy batter giving way to flaky, moist fish, accompanied by perfectly cooked chips. Every bite was a testament to the chef's expertise, and we left completely satisfied.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. The pub was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. It felt warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or a cozy date night. The Sunday roast pork is so good. Huge portion, melt in your mouth pork belly with crackling and all the trimmings. So good. Have tried the roast beef. I really like that it's more of a medium rare roast rather than slow cooked, but not as good as the pork. Also a shout out to the garlic pizza bread.
Service can be a bit hit or miss, but to be honest, I'm not too fussed.

The Rose and Crown is a fantastic place for a meal or a beverage. The renovations are great. The decor is classic and the vibe is very welcoming. They have put a lot of thought into the design of the restaurant and bar area. It's open plan but also has nooks that are perfect of a little privacy with your fam. There is a TAB area and plenty of TVs for watching sports. They also have a outside for those who want to sit outside and drink/ watch sports. They have fixed up their gaming area too. It's got new machines and access to a seperate bar. You can also access the TAB facilities from inside that area. The bistro is stocked with common pub classics, like steak, burgers, pizza and pasta. I had the grilled chicken, which was juicy and delicious. The hand cut chips were crunchy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside. My partner had the penne boscaiola. The pasta was a bit rich for me, but he really liked it. This is a great venue. If you're looking at a great spot for a drink and some good food, then this is a great spot to stop.

Stylish pub with that typical colonial English feel like many premises around the Parramatta area. Modern interior but still holds that classic older ambience with soft lighting and earthy colours. On tap beer refreshing and a fair selection of wines. Bistro food really tasty and reasonably priced. Had the battered fish and the Parramatta Burger. Ordered extra Fries but no need had plenty served as part of the meal. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

Quick and friendly service. The place is quite “dull” even though it’s just been renovated but the food is on point every time. Price is very reasonable and portions are huge.

New Owner New Vibe New Machines & New Investments renovating along with some upgrades sometime somedays during 2023. The old news remains I am still keen to let you help me hit A Small Grand Jackpot before Jack gets Jacked and Jill gets drilled.

My first time at the Rose & Crown tonight and I was so blown away by the extraordinary service from the gaming attendant Sam. She made me and my friend feel so comfortable with how friendly and attentive she was. To top off our amazing experience her cocktail making skills were outstanding and legitimately had the best cocktail I’ve ever tasted!

Man hasn’t this joint gone backwards since the “exciting new management “ took over!
Once a proper “local” public house/drinking hole... now just another rubbish pub with poor service, average food and no atmosphere.

Live around the corner and came for the Christmas party. Got some delicious baked ham and a drink for free which was great! Definitely feels like a real local, owned by a local couple, so will be coming back!

I thought I'd check out a local hotel for dinner. Friendly staff. Well priced drinks. I'm not a footy fan - but couldn't escape the big screens. Typical pub food which is well priced. I was disappointed in the steak I ordered - it was a bit tough. I asked for medium rare and it was almost well done.

I hadn't been here for years so it was just a look around before lunch so there weren't any patrons. A nice sports area and a good sized dining area. Very clean everywhere and a good variety of beers. Wheelchair accessible. Next time I'll go later in the day.

Had the pleasure of coming here on a couple of recent trips to Sydney and found it to be a lively traditional pub. Really impressed with the $16 steak special on Wednesday night, what a bargain and a great portion size - steak was tender and well seasoned and the mushroom sauce was delicious. The other night we came we didn’t realise it was game night for the eels and it was absolutely packed - so do recommend booking ahead for game days.

Great little Gem of a Pub tucked away in Parramatta.
Excellent parking unlike battling to get parking around Church St eaterys...
Was quiet but then was a Sunday night..
Quant dining area... huge screen tv to watch Parramatta win games...
Guinness On Top ....Legends
Staff were friendly welcoming and professional...
Security Guys friendly and happy welcoming unlike many these days..
All staff a credit to a fantastic little watering hole ...

Food decent, staff friendly and parking is good seeing as how it's normally difficult in the Parra area. Nice lunch menu Monday to Friday as well which is well priced with the usual pub options. Good place to meet people for a casual catch up. Decent and stock-standard Aussie suburban pub, but there's nothing wrong with that.

First time at this location. Parking is limited on the premises. But there is street parking as well. Had a classic schnitzel with chips and salad, which was very nice. Will definitely go back in the future.

Extremely friendly staff, great place to go for a cheeky drink or 10.
Foods a little pricey but very good all the same.

Enjoyed a night out for dinner with friends. The pub had a good atmosphere as the Wanderers were playing. Great venue for a feed before going to Riverside Theatre.

By far the most underrated bar in Parramatta, awesome atmosphere, cleanest toilets I've seen in any restaurant/bar in years! Pokies, pools, piss what more can ya want 🤙 get it up ya

Better than most pubs that serve food, very decent sized servings and lots of variety. Catering for most peoples dietary requirements and preferences. Ambiance is somewhat lacking in character, too many sports on the many tvs on the walls. Could use some nice music and wall decor.

A quick bite before an Eels game. Food wasn't too bad, wasn't let down or happily surprised with it. Good vibe in there leading up to the game and bar service was very quick and good.
