We like coming to the Shamrock with other local families and Lisa is wonderful, attentive, caring and diligent. It’s disappointing that the toddler play area has disappeared. It was a draw card for young local families and tucked away in a quiet area. There already seems to be enough tables, so why remove it in order to put some empty tables in that space?

We have come all the way from Adelaide and saw you guys had trivia night so we thought why not come down for that and some dinner and a game of pool!
Everyone here are very very friendly!
Food was amazing we ordered the porterhouse and the pie and both meals were very well made and tasted even better!
Portion sizes were more than enough also!
And the trivia just topped it off!
The host is very engaging and very helpful especially for new comers!!

We had my 2 year old daughter's birthday here and she loved it, thanks to honey,Celeste and Sharon for helping us Organizing this Event we really appreciate everything he and the team did today for us. Thanks again

The management seems very keen on enabling heavy gambling losses to the local community rather than supporting local families with a quality venue. There was for a shor time a toddler play area and other young children appropriate activities this have since been removed. Should do more to encourage families to the venue rather than simply
focusing on the bottom line ie. heavy gambling income (aka losses) and consider the changing demographic of the area.

Steak was very overcooked. The table next to us ordered a kids fish and chips and a seniors fish and chips. They were the same portion size which is very disrespectful to older people. We ordered a kids meal and they refused to substitute the fizzy drink for a juice. We won't be coming back

Staff are great, place is nice enough.
Food has gone downhill considerably for the last 2 years, the last meal I had was worse than from a fish and chip shop.
Yeah, drop in for a drink, place is cool but don't bother eating here.

Sharon our server was excellent, food was lovely, unfortunately Shephards Pie was not particularly hot, lovely flavour.
Very annoying to have a pool table in the Bistro, far too noisy to enjoy the company.

Sharon is a great service attendant and the staff here are very lovely!
Kids play area is why we come, so parents AND kids are all happy!
Sadly to say, the steak was overcooked, this time, I had to send it back but was refunded and given a complimentary beverage.
We will be back, thanks!

I would like to acknowledge Lisa for assisting me with the menu as I am Vision impaired and everyone welcoming my guide dog was really lovely also gave water to her. I love the atmosphere it’s always fantastic.

I’ve rated this as pub, serving pub food. The portions are very generous, nice and tasty and resonably priced. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to our needs as a large group with children.

I know it's pub grub and I know it's not in a top notch location BUT if I order Roast of the Day and it's described as pork with cracking I somehow expect succulent moist meat with a hint of crackling and the edge of the meat flavoursome.
Instead the meal was old.
The meat had no flavour and certainly looked like it had been boiled and not roasted with no hint of oven about it.
The 'roast' potatoes were hard and soggy at the same time - they'd been cooked some time earlier and been waited for service. Not crisp like a roast potato should be. Nor the pumpkin.
The 'seasonal' vegetables I'm pretty certain were the frozen kind that sit in water waiting for service. The cauliflower had a sour taste and the broccoli was bearable.
I'm not a packet mix person so I couldn't deal with the gravy.
I ended up only having the meat, some apple sauce to give it flavour and the broccoli.
The staff were pleasant enough and the place clean.

Had a very nice meal and drink there. My BBQ ribs (often hit n miss) were very good.. the fish and chips were also enjoyed.

First time at Rose shamrock hotel, as I met up with gorgeous Lisa her friendly bubble smile and personality really made a big impact on me. As I been to many place and didn't get warm welcome as I did from here. I will definitely return back. Thank you Lisa

Excellent service, you can order by QR code but they check on you in person. We had a schnitzel and porterhouse steak with prawns, it was really good food at reasonable prices. Staff were very accommodating for having a pram with us

Connor at this restaurant provided impeccable service. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and menu knowledge greatly enhanced our dining experience. He went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, making it a memorable visit. Highly recommended for Connor's outstanding service alone, not to mention the delicious food.

Came here for some Dinner and Trivia on a Tuesday night, the desserts are $10, most come with cream and ice cream.
This pub is located on Plenty Road with lots of parking available. You can order through the app on the table or at the bar.
Plenty of seating and dining tables inside. Next to the pokies room. There's a section for kids.
There's usually drink specials, with a dining menu and sports bar menu

Came for dinner to celebrate my daughters bday, Celeste,Goce and Conner were fantastic went above and beyond to much sure we had a lovely evening.

Awesome Venue!. Lisa and the crew are very attentive to details and serving customers. If you enjoy just going for a casual drink after a day's yakka and enjoy a good chin wag with the locals in a warm comfortable place. This is the place to be.

As we came in we were greeted with a huge smile and welcome. We were shown to our table and were given complimentary drinks for Mothers Day. The Food was delicious and it arrived hot and on time with the others on the table. We all enjoyed our meals immensely. Congratulations to the Rose Shamrock Hotel. A delight for families. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner. Will be coming back. My lovely aunt even won the raffle!!

a really nice quick meal, doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. the staff are so friendly and were very attentive in my experience here. Will most definitely be back.
