Went for dinner, didn't have a booking but was able to get a table. Obliging and helpful staff. We had a seniors meal which was very a generous serving. Didn't have to wait long for our meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and desert. Will go there again. Recommend.

We have eaten here twice this week.
Good pub meals, with tasty desserts.
It seems like the daily specials don't change as they were the same both times.
Wednesday night was quite busy and it seems to be a very popular place with both locals and visitors.

Very enjoyable dinner.
I had a really nice vegan curry and rice.
Burgers looked good .
Drinks were great, especially since they have Wednesday nights free drink with a meal offer at the moment

The Rosebud Hotel was a great choice for a family dinner. They offered something for everyone, with delicious food, quick service, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend checking them out!

The food is alright, seems a bit overpriced for what you get but for the most part it tastes good.
The staff is friendly enough but some don't really appear as though they could be bothered to be there.
Overall, it's an okay place to go.

Quite comfortable to sit after a meal and enjoy socialising.
Comfortable seats
Good outside covered and heated area suitable for smokers.
Food is good quality and plentiful without being too big a serve to leave you feeling bloated

Possibly one of the worst cooked steaks I’ve ever had.
Ordered the scotch fillet at $44 med rare came served way undercooked barely could be called blue. Tough and chewy. Massive disappointment
Wouldn’t recommend or return.

Nice pub close to the water, great for a Sunday lunch out. The porterhouse steak was delicious and the pie of the day (pumpkin, chicken and brie) was great. Staff were chill too

My wife and I dropped in to the Rosebud Hotel hoping they’d be able to fit us in for a meal on a busy Saturday night. Fortunately they were able to find a table for us. I had a Chicken Parma with chips and vegetables. It was all perfectly cooked. Steamed veggies were perfect and the Parma was excellent. Also worth mentioning is the terrific and attentive service . Highly recommended

Met friends down there last night to watch football and they turned the game off and kicked us out just after halftime funny how they don't kick people out of the pokies. To add to this the meals are pretty average bit of a shame cause its such a nice pub could be awesome.

Menu has a decent variety, clean restaurant, plenty of staff working. Meals were average, and certainly weren't 'cheap'. Lamb Korman special was pretty dry and lacked flavour, lamb shank lacked flavour and mash was very dry. Kids carbonara was 30% onion, odd for a kids pasta.
Beers were clean and cold, meals came out in decent time.

Lunched on Saturday with the family, second visit. I had roast of the day (pork) and it was delicious. Everyone was very happy with their meals and we will definitely come again. Wait staff were friendly and helpful, meals reasonably priced.

Lovely pub with a good feel to it.
I had the lamb roast which was both generous & delicious!

I went to the Rosebud Hotel on the Saturday night of a long weekend (Labour Day weekend). The weather was extremely hot and the venue was packed to the rafters
We were a party of 6 and were given a table for 5.
The venue was not adequately air-conditioned and it was uncomfortable to eat while sweating.
The food itself was ok, but not nice enough to justify the menu prices. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it came with 2 huge knobs of herbed butter... why??
There was minimal service as food ordering was done via a QR code and also drinks had to be ordered at the bar.

It's a pub, the Calamari was soft as butter and perfectly cooked. Awesome. The Porterhouse was well cooked medium, but the meat was tough, it happens, I didn't like the gravey either. Good chips, good beer, and lots of TV'S to watch the footy and horses, etc.

I ordered a lobster and prawn ravioli, but did not get lobster but a large prawn cut in half and larger than the other prawns on the plate . Why state lobster and only get an over sized prawn . Check and see if it’s a lobster or oversized prawn

I came here for a drink with my boyfriend & our dog. As it was raining, we were allowed to sit on the decking area with our dog, which usually isn't permitted. Staff were polite & helpful.

Good experience until we ordered dessert. It took 30mins for them to get a cheesecake dish to the table that would be "straight out".
After approaching the register multiple times, we were just told "it won't be long".
We got up to walk out as they brought it over - and it wasn't even a very good dessert which was the most disappointing.
And no take away containers!! They have massive dishes to serve people, yet no option not to waste so much. So disappointing.

Good beer, decent prices, but the meals were just ok and the main bistro area feels like 1976. Food was served quickly and the staff were lovely. Great spot for a drink with some friends.

Food was really good. Vego. Options were varied and lovely.
Recommend the nachos, lamb shanks and the bangers and mash.
Parking just outside but it does fill up.

Food is very good, but limited Seniors menu. Service very fast.
The atmosphere was somewhat spoilt with other diners close by being very loud.

First time diners and found this hotel great, service was great with friendly professional staff and there was plenty of them on this Saturday night. our food came out quite quickly and having 4 different main meals all came out the same time and were very well presented and great tasting. The bar was serviced well with friendly staff. A Very impressive and well oiled machine. Well done everyone and we will be back 👍

Crispy spicy chicken burger is just a schnitzel. Where’s the spice?
Tempora vegetables were very lightly done, not sure if that is good or bad, but are these just the same veritables served as a side of vegetables with three pieces of tofu with tzatziki.
The pesto gnocchi is more pea purée than pesto. Can I get some pine nuts, basil and Parmesan as an option for non vegan?
The pork belly, not offended by it, wouldn’t call it overly tasty, but overpriced leaving the one that ordered it feeling wanting for more.
Parma, I’ve had better pub Parma, but of all the options on the menu it was the safest bet. She was glad she didn’t go for the lamb shanks.
Stick with the chips, they are a winner.
Also, people smoking in the beer garden, why do the staff keep walking past?

Cocktail were 3/4 ice not much drink. Staff were not very friendly at all. Busy night but not a reason to be rude. Food very average. Smallest parma I have ever had.

Came here for a drink and lunch while visiting the Peninsula. Ordered chips, cheesy garlic bread, pie of the day, and the porterhouse steak. Chips and garlic bread was good, pie of the day was pretty big and came with chips and salad. The porterhouse was good however I ordered medium rare it was a bit overcooked. Salad dressing was delicious though and service was pretty quick. It was midday Saturday so it was pretty busy but still plenty of seating outdoors. Multiple bars to order from so didn’t have to wait too long for drinks. Can order food at the bar or through the QR code on the menu which was really convenient. Definitely recommend if you’re after a quick feed and a pint!

Been there many times, food and service always good but they still don't know what a "medium" cooked steak is. Once again, it came out medium rare. Regular occurence.

A well oiled service machine with exemplary attendance and beautiful food. The Management and Staff at kitchen, service and Maitre de are excellent. I don't think that a lot would be missed by the staff. Very well trained and professional. A real credit to the management and hard working observant staff. Be kind to them and you will be rewarded.
PS. Seniors meals, are quite generous in size and quality.
Parking at front and heaps of hotel parking at rear with handicapped parking and entry available. Great family atmosphere with multiple fireplaces during cold Weather.
Good weather would see use of exterior beer gardens and rear lounges, seats, decks both covered and opened and much mo
