Would be zero stars if it could!! we stopped by briefly with a quick need for ladies amenities due to urgency left purse in car and was flatly and bluntly refused permission to use the toilets as my identification wasn't on my person I was astonished by the tone and arrogant nature of the securitys response...this regardless of the venues discretion of rules to simply take a minute for the toilet (&suffering medical issues also) was nothing short of abhorrent especially for an RSL !!! Disgraceful totally Un Australian borderline... inhumane!

With the group from Keilor East RSL we visited the premises and had a good lunch and enjoyed the surrounding attractions.

We visited the Rosebud RSL recently for a family dinner. The prices are astronomical for a basic pub affair, that's right the scotch fillet was a whopping $52, the stuff you would usually see at top notch steak houses (see picture). But it did say 400g, what came out was this measly excuse for a steak (see second picture). Just disgraceful! Imagine being a war veteran, served your country and be provided this level of food, one word "disgusting". This review got one star, and it's only for the server she was wonderful.

Went with our family for dinner tonight, front sent us through to the bistro who then told us they were short staffed and wouldn’t take our orders, as we were leaving the assistant manager asked what the problem was and when we explained he said they weren’t short staff at all. What a joke. As a serving Defence member I’m extremely disgusted that this is the behaviour of an RSL

Was having a good time until the balled bloke with a beard kicked me out for having a win on the pokies. Yes I’d had a few to drink but wasn’t causing any harm. Need to rethink their choice of security as they are rude and aggressive!

Very busy as it was monthly draw night. Despite this, good service and delicious food. No indoor tables so we were on reduced menu outside, all good. Plenty of green space for little one to run around.

Tuesday Parma night- we ordered the fully loaded and the Mexican.
They are great Parma’s but found the chicken to be a bit bland and a bit on the dry side

The seniors meals were really lovely and generous also. We had the fish and chips. Very fresh. Chips cooked perfectly. No old used at the club obviously Lovely chocolate mousse. House white wine was lovely and the cheapest we've ever got from a club. Very busy, but not noisy. It's a definite 'yes' from us.

Rosebud RSL is always our go to for family dinner catch ups! Family travel from Hastings and Bittern side of the peninsula to come to the Rosebud RSL because we love it. Kids night, Saturday night, entertainment is absolutely fantastic! But any night for the kids is great because of the play area inside and the grass space outside. Reasonable prices for non member meals. I'm a sucker for the American burger, so I appreciate the discount burger nights too! Love the raffles! Staff are always polite and very helpful. All-round a great place, we always come home with full bellys and in a happy mood, highly recommend!

Noisy environment at peak times but enjoyable evening, children's indoor play area, food was delicious and vegan options are available here.

Nice place, but the service at the bar some female staff are quite rude. When busy and lining up for food order they only have one cash register going. Long long wait, advise to order as soon as you walk in.

My husband and I love this place. Whenever we visit family we always stop by here and grab a meal and a drink. Always delicious food.

Meals were nice, but one of our party.didnt get the dessert she ordered with her seniors meal& no alternative or refund was offered

Love the food there. Atmosphere is ok. Staff can be a little hit and miss for service but all in all usually a good place to eat.

I only ever write 5* reviews so there are many reviews I don’t write. The food here is excellent ( I’m a veg’ and there were many options) and the staff are amazing. It was such a lovely lunch. I look forward to returning when I’m down that way

I like the RSL.
There are good vegetarian options on the main menu, but not one vegetarian option in the seniors meals.
Some seniors are vegetarians too.
Please put a vegetarian option for seniors.
If it's a nice meal, you'll find some meat eaters will also order it.

I had my 70th Birthday at the Rosebud RSL on Saturday the 18th of May. We had approximately 50 people there along with young children running around.
The staff were par excellence professional, courteous and very friendly. I could fault neither the staff nor the venue in any way.

Had a senior 3 course meal, pork belly .... beautiful 😋 all for $18 ! Great friendly staff.

Had always thought the Club great & people lovely. Until 2 wks ago. Took my nephew, who is staying with me, there for Wednesday night dinner & raffles. He tried to sign in with his licence & unfortunately it wasn't his licence. His had been stolen earlier that day (we later worked out where) & replacement Asian expired one in his wallet in its place! Tried to explain to staff member but she insisted she showed him the licence twice, accused him of fraud & demanded we leave! Got home & rang police, cancelled his licence online with VicRoads & he ordered & paid for another online. Went to Vicroads next day in Dromana, late morning, to be told he was the 14th person that morning reporting stolen licence & one of 120 in the past week! He is currently upset about his treatment & a lady even came up to him whilst he was walking his dog a couple of days later & asked if he was okay as she was a witness & felt he had been rudely & badly treated. Can't get him back there for now...or maybe ever

Great place for a parma on a Tuesday with the a $19 special with around 10 different one's too choose from. They have a great seniors menu also. Sports bar pokies and a huge outdoor entertainment area that on a nice day will serve beverages outside.

Great food and friendly staff... Good place for kids with the music and entertainment. Starting to get a little pricey for an RSL for meals but I guess everything is going up these days

Food was sub standard
Tasted like cheap supermarket dressing sauce thrown into an uncooked wrap.

Food was subpar, not sure if it was made in a hurry as it looked like the it was rushed! Was told that they close at 9:00pm when we went there at 7:00pm. The waiters kept on coming several times to clear the table! Made us feel uncomfortable

Absolutely horrible food. I only come here due to my elderly parents and food is always tasteless and served cold. The cooks really know how to ruin a corned beef.
