Went there for a pub meal a few times over the past few days with my partner. Dont get me wrong, the food is exquisite. Second to none. Staff are friendly aswell. However, what they are prepping you and what is described on the menu are completely separate things, and across the multiple times we went there we were served different contents of some of the same meals each time. I ordered a chicken burger, where it was stated on the menu that it would have a burger bun when it actually came with turkish bread. It also came with onion and sweet chilli sauce on it which was not advertised anywhere on it. My partner is allergic to chilli, if she ate that she would have been hospitalized!!!! You need to keep the servings to what is stated on the menu as you can easily hurt or kill someone, which very nearly did happen by not adhering to your own menu (also simple risk of a lawsuit). There is uneven portion sizing between plates, almost as if sides are dumped on the plate and rushed off the line, and constant typos on the menu making some of it hard to understand

Went for dinner and sat in the dining room for over an hour and no service. Other tables got service but not us. The tables that did get service the meals were brought out with half an hour between one person to another. We weren’t even told they would be with us soon - no contact by service staff at all. Would never go back and we ended up walking out. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.

We had a wonderful time last night at the Royal. The new owners looked after us brilliantly. Food was delicious, I had the lamb korma, others had cutlets.

We had a family "reunion" function/dinner in one of the function rooms on Saturday night (8th February). Kitchen had to cope with a large order for meals for 26 adults and 5 children and handled it extremely well. Kudos to the chef as meal was very good..||Liz, James and staff went over and above, even picking us up from our accommodation in a few shifts due to their courtesy bus being out of action.||I have stayed in this hotel before and loved the old world charm. Bathroom is across the hall but extremely clean. I can highly recommend the Royal Hotel for accommodation, meals, location and friendly, helpful staff.

Under new management the pub is clean and they are giving it a crack with the balcony open and live music on the weekend, footy on the big screen in the garden.| have been 4 times in the last month and enjoyed the meals every time,drop in for a great steak sandwich and a frothy for lunch you won’t be disappointed

The wait staff had very little enthusiasm and the meals came out in dribs and drabs, two of our friends got their meals at the very end when the rest of the table had already eaten. The staff at the bar were good.

There weren't too many dinner options in town on a Monday night - luckily we found this welcoming place - nice family pub with an excellent menu - had the schnitzel with chips and salad but the standout was the chicken wings with a nice spicy sauce - a good deal on a bottle of local wine - very friendly staff

Such a great vibe at this pub! We sat on the newly opened balcony! Beautiful view and plenty of space for the kids to run around a little. The staff were super friendly and made us feel so welcome! Food was really good and well priced! Definitely worth a dinner or lunch stop if your passing though! We shall be back and it will be on our list of regular places to visit on Sunday drives!

Sat at the bar and had drinks. Quite atmosphere. Food is available out the back. Lovely shaded area outside. Nice mix of old and new in the decor.

Nice pub with good staff, food is your typical pub fare, had the fisherman's basket which was not that great, tasted like frozen supermarket seafood but chips good.

New owners are doing a great job of turning things around. Food was tasty, good portions and atmosphere is buzzing. Menu changes and more to come. Looking forward to seeing it go from strength to strength 🥂

had roast of the day which was pork everything on plate was all microwaved the vegies rock hard the pork reheated in the wave absolutely disgusting will not be visiting again yuk

Had lunch here, Masamam curry was good. The parma was good too. The vegetables were abysmal however, with uncooked beans and soggy corn (yes I know almost impossible to do this but they did). Honestly how can a cook or a chef fail vegetables. We will not be returning.

Great little pub, new owners are doing a great job! Food was so nice, service was super friendly and the whole place was very family friendly.

Great evening and excellent food. The new owners are friendly and the service was excellent. Thoroughly recommend this spot.

Food was a bit slow to come out. Food was good. Pot and parmi specials night is Wednesday and curry night is Thursday. In the adjacent area footy was on so atmosphere in restaurant was a bit noisy. Dessert came out without spoons so we had to ask for spoons. But I have been here before and had a better experience. I will go back again.

Beds were good, everything clean, not the Taj Mahal, for a pub quite comfortable.
No ensuite bathroom very close

Beautiful spot for lunch today. Love the beer garden out the back. Sat under the umbrella and enjoyed a beautiful sunny Easter long weekend weather. Service was lovely. Food was delicious 😋. Certainly recommend coming here for luch, dinner or even a date night 🌙 😉

Awesome, Chicken Schnitzel, Pepper Gravy, Onion rings & Salad with Vinaigrette Dressing. Home made Schnitzel was the best i've ever had, juicy just cooked crumbed fillet was perfect. Real home made onion rings with batter. Was very delicious.

A really good Pub dinner . The meals had style and flare and showed pride in what is served and presented. The regionality in menu choices and local Rutherglen wines on the wine list showed an appreciation of the hotels location . The pork belly and the curry were exceptional . Corowa has a great pub to dine at now !!
