We free camped besidethe Royal Hotel. All they ask us is that you support the pub. We had a very nice meal at the pub.

We didn't stay at the hotel, just had dinner and drinks. Everything was great except the garlic prawns. Prawns were cooked very well, garlic however was raw and it really spoiled the dish. Overall though a lovely pub.

Thanks to Erin for looking after us after a very very wet arrival into town. Under cover parking for the bikes the use of the dryer to get some stuff sorted and nice rooms with great hot showers and cold beer Just what is needed after a long day in the saddle Also i think it was John a huge THANK YOU for the battery pack to start my bike after i left the heated grips on :)

stood in line for 14mins waiting to order lunch. there was a group there ordering in front of us. other members of the group meandered up and stood in line behind us. when it was finally our turn to be served, we were told can you stand aside and wait because I'm going to serve ppl in the queue behind you first, because of some till reason. poor form, poor excuse. if you are going to treat certain customers as 2nd class citizens, then that money was spent elsewhere. by the way , we had a big group further up the road, also looking forward to lunch somewhere. it didn't end up being your establishment.

Stayed overnight with a caravan at the RV parking area for the hotel. Friendly staff, clean amenities. Highly recommended for caravaners looking for a free overnight standing spot with clean hot showers. Great food too at the hotel.

Stayed in the free camping spot. Good clean showers, average - decent food, but a bit on the expensive side.

Little bit hungry today. Ordered 2 meals of Beef and mushroom hot pot & Lamb shank. Yap waiting time is 2 hours for the meals until you directly ask the chefs to make them for you. Beef and mushroom is still frozen (i dont know why they call hot pot). Lamb shank is cold and medium cook. Thank you for the food anyway.

It was a nice place to be at and the food was ok, but for the price I expected better and certainly would expect to not have hair in my food. The staff are friendly and the beer is cold. Just the food quality and price let down the whole experience.

I stayed one night and ordered the Roast Lamb and vegies and was told they were busy and there would be a wait. I ordered drinks and waited. I watched as people's meals came out and they were huge meals of really appetising looking food. The wait went on and on and the barmaid kept checking with the kitchen as to when my meal might come out. After and hour and a half my buzzer went and I went to retrieve my meal. What I found was a few scraps of lamb ends, five potato wedges and some overcooked frozen vegie medley. i was too tired, upset and hungry by that stage to complain. I suspect they had forgotten about my order, and when they did recall, they had run out of lamb. You would think they would come and talk to you and offer something else if they had run out of food.. I went to bed hungry and very unhappy, especially after seeing the wonderful meals everybody else was getting.

Inexpensive hotel room accommodation, very comfortable beds and shared communal facilities. Nice old world dining room offering a very good variety of reasonably priced dishes! There's an interesting beer garden with a very old vine. Well worth a visit.

I got a meal here when the services club wouldn't serve me a meal (8.05pm). Staff were friendly and meal was home cooked pub fare. Well done to their hospitality they made me feel welcome after a busy day at work, and when I needed a good meal.

If you want an old pub stay in a pub in need of love, this is it. It was ok, I've definitely been in worse. The meals were very generous and well worthwhile.

Had dinner at the Hotel and the meals were amazing. The scoth fillet was one of the best i have had, and cooked to perfection. Service was great and the meals were ready at the same time which is a challenge for some country restaurants. Great experience. Would highly recommend.

Great free camp area behind the pub, close to shops. Friendly staff at the pub, lovely dining room and good music but the 'fresh' vegetables advertised on their page were 100% frozen, as were his fish and chips. My hamburger was tasty but was served tepid and had a consistency of clag, served with a small handful of barely warm chips. I would stay there again, but perhaps only drink at the bar.

Great early style country pub. Hosts Andy and Di allow RV's and caravans to park behind the pub. Free 24 hour toilets and hot showers, in return you are expected to buy a beer and a meal. No problem there. Food was excellent. A must visit. Grapevine in the beer garden planted in 1910.

Great country pub in a great country town. Can recommend the works burger, bangers and mash, and the chicken schnitzel.

Great country hospitality, awesome friendly and accommodating customer service, cold beer and absolutely a top feed. Erin and Rochelle were great hosts. After a long day and drive it was a pleasure to relax and enjoy a top feed. Thank you.

Friendly fast service. Ice cold beer on tap. Limited wine choices (cask only by the glass). Meals were disappointing. Over cooked cutlets were dried out. White sauce on corned beef… no comment. Frozen veggies over cooked. Will be back for a beer but not to eat.

Free camped on Saturday night. Sam behind the bar was friendly and the locals are larrikins. Lovely quiet, grassed area to rest in your RV. Donation box. Showers & toilets available. Dinner was delicious, will definitely visit again.

Economical good quality meals. I've eaten here for a few nights whilst working in town . Great salads and fresh meat. Seafood is deep Frozen, but still tasty & clean oil. In the beer garden is the biggest grapevine trunk you will ever see!. Planted in the 1890s & still bearing fruit?

Ate here tonight, wonderful welcome and guide through the pub. Unfortunately bar staff had no idea about what wines they had. We then ordered a chicken Parma and a grilled Barra. The grilled Barra had to be sent back as it was still raw inside. The Barra appeared to be cooked on a very dirty hot plate, the chips looked as though they were cooked in old oil. The chicken Parma was very average, needed more flavour in the tomato topping. The salad was simple but nice. Overall a disappointing experience.
