We will definitely be back here for dinner. The staff are very happy, the food was beyond expectation as the chefs present the food like they really enjoy preparing it. The desserts were also delicious. Highly recommend.

Went there with a group of 24! Waitress took the order from the table and does so for groups. Has a bistro menu, small kids-menu, and a seniors menu. Prices are reasonable and good for seniors.

Went for a dinner tonight with my partner, tried beef bourguigon and veal scallopini, both dishes were amazing specially beef soo rich in flavour. Must try!

We have ordered multiple times to go but the take-away menu is very limited.
We did however finally eat in and enjoyed everything we ordered.
The staff were attentive and helpful. Thanks for a great meal

We decided to head over to try this pub out and was so glad that we did. We were greeted by a lovely young lady when we entered and couldn't believe that at a pub they actually come to your table to take your order. The meals were absolutely delicious and the service outstanding. Another lovely young lady came past as we were eating and checked that everything was good. We can't praise the staff enough for how approachable and friendly they were. Keep up the fantastic service. We will be back

We arrived late on a Thursday evening, but the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome.
The venue is lovely and comfortable and appears to be recently renovated. Seating is comfortable and although there were quite a few people in the bistro and bar, the atmosphere was not noisy.
Soup dujour was chicken chowder and it was extremely tasty. Lots of chicken chunks in a smoky, creamy base with vegetables and crusty bread.
Chips were hot, crunchy and seasoned just enough.
Rump steak was tender and cooked just right but the pepper sauce lacked a little kick.
We will definitely be back.

The waitresses were lovely and helpful. The coffee was great but the lambs fry was quite tough, being overcooked. We will probably go again and try something else. Everyone else's meals were very good

The Royal Hotel. CHRISTMAS IN JULY. 2022 Fantastic.
I really Enjoyed the flavour of the Turkey and Ham. Roast Veg with cranberry sauce and their amazing gravy. PLUM pudding Wow
If this is a taste for what is to come in December then count me in.
Well done Royal Hotel.

The meals are well prepared and sizeable. The Irish pork sausages and mash are good flavoursome meal.

Such a wonderful hotel to visit. So nice to see a pub doing so well. Food was excellent and meals absolutely wonderful. The service from the staff was excellent as well. Full table service for meals and always coming back to table to clear away dirty plates. . Definitely will be back again

Lovely meal on a Sunday night, got quite busy but service was quick and staff were lovely. Bistros lights kept flickering for the whole time we were there, annoying but didn’t damper our nice family time. Will definitely be back; table service with nice desserts too

Lovely, fresh, airy, pleasant bistro. Friendly, laidback country (ish) folk. It was my first time out here in Koo wee rup. Loved the experience here with our big group. Our food was so good. Thank you.

Large delicious meals at reasonable prices. The staff are attentive and helpful. Service is prompt. The place is clean with a good size carpark. We enjoy eating here.
Seniors and children are catered for. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are denoted on the menu.
Being a pub, there is a Hugh variety of drinks available as well as coffees and tea.

I like the Royal Hotel, I live on the Mornington Peninsula and my sister lives on Phillip Island. Koo Wee Rup is a great place to meet and have lunch.
The Royal has a nice warm atmosphere, and very friendly staff. You always feel welcome.
The food is good and the beer is cold, you can’t ask for much more.

Great family pub. Very spacious but don't be fooled it does book out fast.
The food is nothing too over the top and the staff are fantastic. Always great service everytime we have been.

Googled somewhere to meet up with my cousins who were visiting from interstate. Needed somewhere about half way between us. Saw the Royal Hotel in Koo Wee Rup and booked a table. I am so glad we went there! Great service, wonderful food, fantastic atmosphere and a great, relaxing, long lunch.
If you are ever in Koo Wee Rup, check out the Royal. You won’t be disappointed.

Enjoyed a beautiful lunch today with my Dad, Brother & son & was welcomed by friendly staff, that saw us to our table. The atmosphere was very relaxing & the food was so good.
We will return in the New Year, the Royal Hotel will definitely be a regular place to visit for our family.☺

Called in for lunch, on a road trip, very impressed. Menu provided a huge selection, food was great, atmosphere relaxing, and staff extra friendly..Great place, definitely worth stopping for!!

after months of pestering the royal on facebook for more vegetarian options, i am so pleased to see they have become more inclusive!! i used to hate going to the royal because there were not many options for veggies like me, however, i went last thursday and my god!!!! the pumpkin ravioli is to die for! it was absolutely amazing. one of the best meals i’ve had out in a long time as a vegetarian. please never take it off the menu!!

A beautiful hotel. This is a nice pub. The atmosphere is pleasant and staff are friendly.
The ribeye that I ordered as medium rare unfortunately came out as well done. It was disappointing and I expect better from a $53 steak.. The Atlantic salmon was also overcooked and again a disappointment.
I wouldn’t be in a hurry to eat here again.
