We really enjoyed our meals. We also slept the night and had a lovely shower in the morning. Don't drive past you won't find better.

Truly a country pub. Enjoyed a fantastic Sunday roast with a vast view across the plains. Large choice of drinks including ginger beer on tap.

The friendliest pub in NSW. One of our annual highlights is building fences at Spring Ridge and visiting the Royal of the Ridge. Excellent food, warm fire, and the owners have a great sense of humour.

Stopped here with a group of families with young kids. Great out door eating area close to a great fenced playground. Clean toilets. Very friendly staff. Fantastic with the kids. Food was a good pub feed! Will stop by again. Thank you!

My mates and I enjoy staying at great country pubs while on our bikes. Unfortunately this isn't one of those and we won't be returning.

My crispy chicken burger was really lovely and a very generous size. Debbie's chicken schnitzel was excellent she got a garlic prawn topper as well.

I imagine people travel from far and wide to have a meal here. We came from Quirindi for lunch; the food was excellent; we sat outside which was very pleasant (and dog friendly).

Great place to stop for a drink and get a good feed for lunch (as we did). Toasted sandwiches were delicious, and buffalo wings are also very tasty. A good place with plenty of seating.

Great little pub with good food, with a big screen tv for sports. If your traveling by it's a great spot to stop for a cold drink and hot food.

Great, convenient location and they keep the kitchen open until late. We were lucky enough to score massive chicken Schnitties at 8:30pm ! The staff were attentive and friendly. Fantastic service, good food and excellent prices. Oh and our little one had a ball on the playground burning up some of the pent up road trip energy!

Do yourself a favour & call in here for a cold drink & a great meal. Wonderful staff, great locals! We called in here by chance due to being stuck in the floods. The locals at the bar assured us all would be OK & the flooded road blocking us in would clear by the time we had lunch....they were right. It's one of the happiest memories we had of our trip. We felt so welcomed by the publican & staff & the roast lunch was just the comfort we needed. Thanks everyone at the Royal Hotel. 👍

Despite being closed on Mondays, the host made arrangements for me to be able to access a room and left me a meal in the fridge. Food is great! I'm sure the beers are too.

Awesome spot for a beer.
You could definitely sit here all day on the beers and watch the world go by.
Great outdoor to sit and take it all in.
Staff are super friendly and love a chat.
Highly recommend stopping in at the Royal and I will be back.

Awesome little county pub. Very friendly bar staff and kitchen staff.
Did was delicious. So nice to get a decent pub feed. Definately recommend you stop here on your travels. Rooms available upstairs, a cottage with rooms available next door as well as a couple of Donga's at the back.
Loved every aspect of this establishment.

A “must stop” along the road from Tamworth to Orange! We’ve driven past here frequently and seen the throngs of cars here. Finally decided to stop and sample the meals. Glad we did! Friendly service, great food (fresh beef patties on burgers!) , I’m chippies! New favourite. We’ll be back next trip!!!
