What a wonderful place full of real people who love music and enjoying each other's company.
We certainly enjoyed playing our show for the good folk of Goodna. Dan Hopkins and the Generous Few would like to send a big thanks to the staff and owners who made us so welcome.
We hope we can come back again sometime soon.

Went there yesterday! Old world charm. Simple and cheerful! Drinks at 1990 prices. Awesome service and very chatty and friendly

Well - step back in time! Ol’ school pub - love the old Queenslander build! Worth a beer and wander! 👍 Good pit stop as you go west! Use Maps - tricky find! 💥

This old pub is like being way out in the country without actually being way out in the country. Lady behind the bar was very friendly. A lot of interesting things to look at. Dog friendly out the back in the garden bar. Garden bar could do with a make over.

This is one of the last traditional Australian pubs.
It is misleading to suggest a price range of $20 to $40 as some reviewers have; there is no door fee to enjoy great music
The food is excellent , but check if the kitchen is going to be open at the time you have in mind
Tourists will enjoy the authenticity and the sight of lots of semi-tame kangaroos helping to trim the grass on the nearby golf course
Cobb & Co stage coaches used to stop off here in the 1800’s

This is one of the greatest pubs around. Cold and very well priced beers and good old fashioned hospitality is what you will find here. Really friendly staff, great people and all round great atmosphere inside the Royal Mail!

If you like Blues and Rock then this is the place. Fantastic atmosphere, been twice and the music has been awesome! Great food and beer all reasonably priced. Great service from the staff! Will defiantly be keeping an eye on who's playing! and looking forward to my next session at the Royal Mail!

Good venue for live bands ... just need to get some bands in that are more alive. Friendly atmosphere, beers are a bit ordinary and expensive, but the staff work very hard. Reminded me of "the good ol' days"!

Mostly known as a old people pub
With regular live music and cheap drinks
Schooner of beer was $6.40
I've not tried food but it's definitely nice smelling

Bikies out the front, a dodgy vibe as people stare when we walk in. Ignore those sensations.
Grab a beer, sit down and wait for the simple beauty of this place to dawn on you. Great spot

Basic food. Fish was ordinary but what you would expect for the price. Burger was very good, tasty and value. But the music is the Piece de Resistance. Buzz and the Blues Band are great.

Awesome experience, if you luv your Blues and Roots music. It's a historic 150 year old Hotel. Hidden gem of Blues and Roots music in the South East on the weekends. I luv it.
The only venue in Australia to be awarded the International Keeping The Blues Alive Award from the Blues Foundation in TN USA. And the locals give it that great welcoming vibe. Awesome music. Awesome people. Awesome food.

After so many years walking Chockie, Levarna and my own dog Sabbie the White Maremma, Andrew doesn't allow dogs to sit out the front of the Pub on a Thursday Afternoon anymore which I was quite sad and disappointed but unfortunately because it was great days when we allowed to have our dogs there before sitting out the front with us listening to the live bands.
They changed the rules just before I arrived in Goodna in August this year (2019), about having dogs sitting out the front of the patio on Thursday's sadly.
Everyone used to love Sabbie and gave him a pat when I used to bring him in before to The Royal Mail on a Thursday or Friday afternoon when I was in Goodna late last year in 2018 at Christmas Time.
I travel to Goodna all the way from Batemans Bay NSW 1200 kms to enjoy the Blues Bands and Good Old School Music.

Absolutely best pub I've ever been to. Live music, friendly staff & publican Andy is so welcoming. Great drink prices & the food is delicious. Very laid back feel here & good vibes. Totally recommend.
