We had a lovely evening. Cassandra the duty manager was friendly, the food presentation was very good. 2 of us were vegetarian and the other two: one ordered steak and one fish and chips.....they really enjoyed their meal. We had a vegetarian pizza, very nice and the roast pumpkin salad was delicious.

We had a awesome meal... great service and the publican ( I think) with a very appropriate, colourful shirt added to the experience - Nathan- jovial..friendly and added to the atmosphere. Thank you for a great meal 🙏🏻😎👌

This is our second visit and we have experienced first class food and service both times. It is now the only place we will go to eat on our fortnightly trips to Dalby from Cooyar. Simply the best. Thank you Jason for my caramel swirl cheesecake xxxx

The Russell Tavern has a lovely ambience; was nice, cozy & heated; the bar & restaurant staff were all friendly, happy & helpful; the menu offers a range of meals & the decor is nice & welcoming.
The bar has 12 x beers on tap + cocktails, wines etc.
The location of the Tavern is in the middle of town (Dalby) & was easy to find.
10 🌟 rating for the beer, food, desserts, staff, location & the appreciated warmth (2 degrees outside) 👏🏼👏🏼😊

The food was excellent, big serving sizes and the prices were very good.
Nathan served us and was very friendly and helpful. The salad with the cranberries was spot on. We really enjoyed our evening here. Would definitely recommend.

Our meal was very nice with all the trimmings. I am gluten free and every consideration was made for my meal
The service was also very good. We went to The Criterion last time but the Russell Tavern was 100% better and not to be compared. A must stop when in Dalby.

Our family had dinner here. Everybody was extremely happy with the meals. Service was extremely fast. Food was 10/10.

Nice staff but the meals were under par. Bruchetta was excellent. Pizza for $22 was very underwhelming. Chicken parmigiana was OK but side gravy was no good.

My husband and myself just had the very best lunch and the service was fantastic. Yes we were early but it was great. We will definitely be calling in here agsin on our next trip through Dalby. We highly recommend.

Hi we went there tonight.and had the macadamia crusted fish..we had it there two years ago it was fabulous
Not so this time way to much sauce and mash of putting. Fish was nice. But last time only very little ssurce drizeled over it was fabulous.diffrwbt chef maybe but disappointing after waiting an hour and ten minutes.

Had a very tasty parmigiana & mum loved her steak with Diane Sauce. The service was friendly. Missed out on the some stars as meal took about 45 minutes & it wasn’t really clear how to order. Also Mum & I just wandered in to the bistro & found our table ourselves as no one appeared to be seating guests.

Great place for a meal, and drink and chat.
The only fault when we went was a pizza we ordered was overcooked - it was a little chewy.
Everything else was brilliant. The staff are very friendly and we were very happy overall.

Good to pub group especially if you have children in town as to has a kids room with TV etc For evening meal with family and friends it's Ideal

Food was perfect, we ordered a steak sandwich and rump steak. Cooked perfectly. Great service from the manager. Nice and relaxing place for lunch on a Sunday

Every thing was great, from the service to the drinks. The steak sandwich pictured, was sensational and hit the spot...bang on with the flavour and tender too. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend a visit. Ambience was great with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Round 2 for another winner of a meal. I was somewhat let down with my first sandwich on this visit, as I compared it to my first visit. When I approached the staff with my concerns, Nathan and his team quickly rectified it and the second tasty sandwich was before me and I devoured it. Once again, I was impressed with the service and the food was back to the standard set of my first visit. I recommend this Tavern and look forward to coming back again.

Disapointing experience at our favourite pub, menu tries to rip us senior veterans off. Manager is a rude incompetent a hole.
Customer is always wrong.
Go elsewhere.
And Nathan the a hole can't wait for us to visit again.
Keep waiting looser we will not be back.

Decent enough meals, a bit on the pricey side for the quality but it makes sense being rural. Disappointing that the gravy was a powder gravy, tasted slightly sweet, I think gravox. The chicken schnitzels and parmigiana was overcooked and the chicken wasn't a nice thick cut. The meals took a really long time to come out. Some of the servers were lovely, some had a bit of an attitude. It was nice to have the option to eat here after driving out from the city.

Cold beers and the steaks are the BEST! Ask them about the EarthQuake Post Rammers or call 1800 EARTHQUAKE

Christmas Lunch Buffet was a delicious generous meal and great value for money.

Best Steak Sandwich I've ever had. It had everything on it.
Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile.
Will be back when visiting Dalby again. :)

Amazing steak. Perfect medium rare. Got the 300 gram Rib Fillet. I cannot wait to get the next one.

A lovely well presented hotel/tavern with delicious meals, catering for everyone with a wide selection of menu choices to suit your budget. Nice quiet atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, a place that makes you feel at home. Very nice nice venue.

Absolutely disgusting the whole venue is filthy the service was poor the ladies toilets are almost unusable we took 3 teenagers to dinner and was told they weren’t allowed in the bar area but the managers baby was allowed in there I don’t see the difference as the teenagers werent there to gamble neither was the baby discrimination much I would never recommend the Russell hotel to anyone also being a past hotelier I would be embarrassed to recommend this establishment to anyone someone needs to pick their game up for this hotel to get back to how it used to be I remember when it was a classy place to go out to but wow not a hope in hell would I take anyone back there

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered a Southern Fried Chicken Burger and got a horrible burger with two 'chicken' strips that had no resemblance of being southern or chicken. If I could give 0 stars I would. Could barely get through eating a few bites. Paid $19 and while the manager on shift was kind, apologised, and genuinely seemed ashamed of the 'food' they were serving, there was no offer of a refund or any compensation - was simply told that's what they get from head office.

Absolutely disgraceful. Over an hour and 20 minutes and still didn’t receive our meals. Our young children were in tears due to hunger. When enquiries were made, our meals hadn’t even been started and they tried to blame the ladies on the register who took the orders. Clearly the kitchen can’t handle the heat. As locals, it’s such a disappointment for the community.
