We’ve always gone out there for lunch and we always get the seafood platter for one because it’s affordable and not to mention a beautiful dish but sadly we went to order yesterday and where told the seafood platter is $68 as they don’t do the platter for two anymore we are so disappointed and we hope you decide to change it back anyway we decided to get fish and chips to find out that you have changed the batter from a nice golden crispy batter to this or full shiny oily one! Really guy’s surely your not going to keep serving that garbage up we won’t be ordering fish and chips from you again either if that’s the case you guy’s need to get it together out there🤦♂️

We booked online for Saturday lunch and sat outside under the big umbrellas which was absolutely beautiful. The food was excellent. I had the hot and cold seafood platter for one and it was honestly top quality and worth every cent! The prawns and squid were so beautiful ❤️
Everyone on our table raved about the quality of the food. Well definitely be back!
The bar service and empty glass and plate removal from our table was terribly slow as there were only 2 women serving and clearing tables over the entire lunchtime rush. We understand how hard it is to get staff at the moment.
The staff were happy and friendly.
The only improvement I could recommend is having a kids menu on the sails menu. We had to order a kids meal from next door which is terribly inconvenient. It came out 10 minutes after all of the adults main meals which never goes down well with the hungry kids.

The worst service bar I have ever been in. The food is fantastic but bar service is nearly non existent. I think all the back packers are on holidays at this bar. There is no organisation and they would rather wipe the bar down 100times than serve a waiting customer. Chat with a local than serve someone with their cash out. Queensland time is one thing, here is 1/4 pace.

The steaks are cooked beautifully but very expensive for what it is considering their operating model is no table service. My partner ordered the oysters also which were extremely small/shrivelled and one was completely missing, for the price paid would have expected much better.
The restaurant area was quite full and very very noisy.

The service here is the worst I've ever seen anywhere. Service personnel are more interested in talking with work mates than attending to the customers lined up.
The Manager needs to stick a cracker behind the staff. Great food and outlook.

The location is beautiful, but the food was horrible. My husband ordered chicken wings and the woman behind the counter asked if he wants to have it spicy. Spicy was more like vinegar/sour. He couldn't eat it.
My teenage son ordered a chicken burger, the chicken was not cooked through. He went in to let them know. After a short while they told him that there is nothing wrong with the chicken.
My son was so hungry that he ate a bit, but he left his food as well (doesn't happen often!).
We won't be back.

The atmosphere can be nice here, especially when there is an event on or live music. There is usually a band outside the venue every Friday and Saturday night.
The food is good but you can only eat in certain areas which can be a bit hard if it's busy. The loaded fries are good, the portion is pretty big, too! It gets terribly hot inside as the breeze doesn't make it in.
The staff are really nice, but it can be hard to get the right drink, lol. Recently visited and tried to get a lemon lime bitters with vodka, and I'm pretty sure out of all 8 orders, only one or two were actually right 😅 no problems with the beer orderes tho.

Simply dreadful. Loaded fries was a gluggy mess on barely Luke-warm fries. Came out 40 minutes after ordering. Pizza that was ordered at the same time did not appear. Was told that there was a delay on pizzas and would be another half an hour. I asked for my money back only to be told it was now in the oven, would only be another 5 minutes and could not be cancelled. Another 25 minutes late a very sub-par pizza arrived on a freezing cold china plate, well after everyone else had finished their meals and were ready to leave.

Service on a saturday night was terrible. Long waits for the bar. Food good for pub food after a long wait for service. Live music on a Saturday night is great. Seemed to be a spot for younger crowd after 8pm got very rowdy.

Sails let themselves down tonight. The Morton bay half bug topper(we bought 2 @ $15 each) had no body meat. Only meat was in the tails. Everything else was OK, even the expected high prices. I complained to the chef nothing was done. So only a 3 out of 5 for me.

Sails is a favourite of mine, it has been for well over 10. This was my second visit recently after 7 years. Cockatiels are well made and consistent. Staff are friendly an willing to help. The view is to die for and it's great to have a game of pool also

Loved my rib fillet and pork ribs. Good vibes and great food. Highly recommend if you want to dinner out at marina.

Had lunch with two friends here, got the prime rib + chips/salad and got it pretty quick. Was pretty good but my friends that ordered a Caesar salad + chicken and pork ribs waited longer for their meals and had to ask where theirs were- four staff and wasn't that busy so not sure why the wait.

Great atmosphere, poor/rude service, expensive drinks and no parents change room. A change table could easily be installed on the large empty wall in the unisex/disabled toilet. (There is a free idea)

Food just comes from the take-away at a higher price. Bar staff are rude and incompetent.
Sunday session now ends at 630 as the band finishes then.
Are they trying to save money on wages by shutting early and bringing the band in early? They even add on a surcharge for Sunday as it is.
The place has become an absolute joke and should be avoided until they start appreciating their customers and put some effort in to bring in a crowd.
Don't waste your time or money coming here.

Female security worker refused entry as a group of us appeared to be ‘too drunk’ and they ‘don’t want any trouble tonight’. Meanwhile we’ve barely had any drinks and they’ve potentially just lost $100’s of dollars in sales. Sexist if you ask me. Disgusting behaviour.

Don't bother very average service, food and prices. Music loud as for a Sunday lunch.

Bar staff accidentally picked up my vape from the table in the smoking area while I was at the bar. When I told him it was mine and to leave it there, he continued to clean the table but tried to pick it up again. When I came over to say I was staying at the table and just getting a drink he told me I was “intoxicated and need to leave” and “I’m cutting you off “ for “aggressive behaviour”. I think he was trying to steal my vape, what other reason is there to get so aggressive for mistakingly picking up someone’s property.
After coming over to me to “explain himself” he cut me off from any services when I voiced my displeasure with him acting so aggressively over a minor mistake.
Sails, please choose better staff, someone who gets that aggressive at 8pm is only going to cause trouble.

Always a great spot for a Sunday afternoon session. Live music and family friendly. Food is amazing, they even cater to coeliacs like me 🙌
