You can't go past barefoot bowls for $5 per person! Friendly club with good food that comes out fast. Great hot chips.

Worth a visit. This club is local to me. I hesitated in visiting for a few years thinking I would not fit in but wow. Everyone is welcome and it's a whole lot of fun.

We visited the club on one of their trivia nights. We had a really great time. The bar and food staff are very friendly, the food was delicious. The great atmosphere as well made the whole experience delightful. Thankyou.

We love coming to the bowls club with our family and friends! The food is yum. We come and play bare foot bowls the staff are super friendly and helpful. I’ve come here for 2 events and they have put on a great do lots of food flowing and the drinks, the atmosphere is great! Come down an have some lunch/ dinner an play a game of bowls!

This is my new local! Has that old school bowls club feel, but has local brews on tap for a great price. Quite happy with the menu at the kitchen. The pies are excellent and good value. Friday night meat raffle is where its happening! Definately check this place out!

The staff were friendly and joking, and you could tell they enjoyed working there. Food was good pub fare. They seem to be doing more interesting and varied community activities - I was there for Murder at the Bowlo, an Anywhere Festival live action Whodunnit. Staff also told us about drag queen bingo, which they said the patrons also loved.

Terrible community club. This club has proceeded to sell raffle tickets online very proficiently. However when it come time to draw the club frequently has "streaming issues". Very dissapointed guys, a shame to the loyal supporters.

Sadly the lunch, although a good serving and good price was nearly cold when we got it. Also no espresso coffee machine and we directed to the Cafe over the road to get our coffee fix.

Played barefoot bowls here with kids. Staff were friendly and beer nice and cold. I can't comment on food as I only had a few bags of chips from bar for kids.

Our family gathered here after the 1 year unveiling of our loved ones grave. We booked for a crowd of approx 30. Staff had cornered off a section for us and put an animated movie on the big screen for the kids while we caught up and waited for meals. Unfortunately there was only 1 cook in the kitchen but they did call in another person. The poor ladies were run off their feet cooking and trying to get the orders to the right people. My family were very patient. Everyone had finished eating and my partner and I still werent served, we had informed staff twice we were still waiting. There was a mix up and they had missed our order. They were very apologetic and gave us a refund and can of soft drink when we asked to take our order away as everyone was leaving. Thought this was very fair and appreciated the gesture. The family enjoyed all the meals and the staff were very friendly. We appreciated how very busy with locals as well us staff were. We would definitely return to the club for meals again.

New bistro: Vamos Eats Haven't had rissoles in a long time and these hit the spot. They where so moist inside not a dry spot in site. I was over the moon with the empanadas with the house spicy sauce, the spicy sauce got my taste buds going and you knew the empanadas were made with love.

My partner and I were running early for an appointment. So we decided to go in for a quick beer. The staff & local members were cheerful, friendly, & very helpful assisting with the covid sign in process. The beer was ice cold & was all facilities were keep clean, neat & tidy, the outdoor smoking area was also keep in the same standard.

My family and I always enjoy our experience at Salisbury bowls club. They have amazing food and a great atmosphere. We regularly attend raffle night and the monthly markets. Its nice knowing that given the current environment we can still go to the local club whilst still feeling safe. They are very diligent about cleaning and ensuring everyone's safety. Highly recommend you check out their Facebook pages for regular events and specials!

Local Salisbury sports community and bowls club surrounded by a little market that's got a barber bakery post office and some of the shops and real estate agent for sure I've been to the barber it's a lovely Indian bloke Gave me a lovely haircut and the conversation was amazing the one good thing about him he's got the photos of all his customers on his walls Coming back to the bowls club the food is nice there is a tab bar food n good crowd

I have been a member of the club for over 10 years and have always loved my local Bowlo. But thankfully for our family friendly club this crazy pandemic has given them time to refresh & reset! The staff are still fabulously friendly & they have a very safe covid-19 plan (the app to sign in is super easy). Abbiocco are now running the kitchen, their food is sooo yummy & cater for dietary requirements. We have become regulars on a Sunday for "Sunday Siesta" with free barefoot bowls, music, Sangria & Tacos.

I have attended two baby showers here in the past weeks and everything has been lovely! Michelle who coordinates the events couldn’t be more helpful and all the food is really tasty! It’s a perfect hidden gem for functions and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I’d like to thank all the staff for making my sister’s day amazing, couldn’t have picked a better venue to hold her ceremony and reception. Staff went above and beyond to help us with setting up and making the process a lot easier. Huge shoutout to the wonderful Michelle, Toni & Wendy for helping us make our Sons First Birthday extra special! The venue was immensely helpful and so easy to deal with in a stressful time amid lockdowns and restrictions. They went absolutely above and beyond in helping us throw our son a wonderful, Covid safe event and everyone was thrilled with the food and the venue. We don’t know what we would have done without the wonderful staff at the Salisbury Community Sports Club and are eternally grateful to have this wonderful club in our community. Had a great time with the girls at my sister-in-law's bridal shower yesterday afternoon! Affordable, fun and the Beer Garden was a great spot with plenty of room to host some silly games. Michelle was also a delight to work with. Happy with our decision to support local!

Great friendly club. Play trivia on Thursday nites excellent. Tracey runs a nite and a lot of effort goes into it. The bar staff are great. The only reason not 5 stars is the food is fried. Not a lot of good choices like pre covid19. Miss the main steak meal for 15.00 and u got it med raRe.

Don’t eat at the Salisbury Bowls club. I know it is only a Bowls club so I am not expecting much. But on Thursday 27th January the food was so bad that it was inedible.

Bowls club is great, but new chef /food company is so bad. Tiny portions, overpriced, lack of options and what they do have is poor quality food. Ordered 4 dishes and they were all bad. Too bad as this is our local. Hopefully better food options soon!!

Avoid eating at the bistro. Food is bloody awful. I had the lasagne. No bechamel sauce & minuscule bits if cheese between lasagne sheets. All I could taste was mince with passata. Served with chips & ho-hum salad. Paid $17 . In hindsight I should hve returned the dry, bland lasagne & demanded my money back. Not worth $17. Inedible. Disappointing. Felt ripped off. Husband had steak sandwich. Dry piece of steak, lettuce, tomato in between 2 burnt pieces of toast. Chips & same hohum salad. $17. He's been urging me all week to write this review ... Pick up your game bistro operators. Google what goes into a lasagne & stop being stingy. Maybe eat at other clubs to see what $17 x2pax buys. There are other places to eat tasty, value for money food in Brisbane. I strongly recommend diners that you spend your money elsewhere .

Amazing veggie lasagne!! One of the best veggies lasagne’s I’ve ever tasted. Definitely the best one around! Empanadas where great too, I’ll be back! Thank you Vamos Eats!

A hidden place of comfort. Was there to attend a lunch celebration for a friend. The catering was organised via the club and the spread was lovely. Tasty nibbles of handmade bread and condiments, along with larger morsels that take a couple of sensational flavoursome delights. Followed by a choice of main meals. A happy unexpected experience from what would otherwise be an everyday bowls club. The everyday events were still going on. Friends were able to play bowls with their children, and members were right along side. Same pokies room, that doesn't detract from the feel. If you're in the area, stop by

After hearing there is a great new Chef at this club, we deliberately went for dinner to try the new menu. Roast Lamb Dinner "special" was the best of 3, albeit a bit grisly. Battered fish was good, but salad quite tired & dry, Rump Steak was inedible & uncuttable. Was told when ordering, the Chef "only" cooks to medium-rare. Sorry Chef. My car tyres have more pink inside. Chips n veges were yum. No desert on the menu. Disappointing.
