Went to Salisbury tavern tonight for my mum’s birthday. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. The meals came out so quickly and were generous portions.

We enjoyed our dinner, restaurant was clean and service was ok. Only negative for me and reason for 4 stars is we ordered a starter, didn't get time to sit , chat and enjoy starter as the main arrived pretty much straight after it was delivered. You go to dinner not just to eat but to enjoy the company you are with.

This is a good family place to have lunch or dinner with family or friends,whether birthday or just in general.The food here was very good as well as warm,staff are very friendly and helpful. Hope to go back sometime soon.

The food was lovely but, we were the first to arrive (party of 3) and first to order, there were no other customers in the dining room. Ours was to be a quick business lunch, hence the early ordering. We ordered at 11.45am and meals arrived 12.30pm. Food was lovely, service staff were lovely but wait time was unacceptable.

The $27 curry that was on "special" was nice but the portion size was ridiculously small and when staff was made aware they said we could get a free drink only. Went home starving. Won't be going back there for dinner ever.

Thank you so much once again for a wonderful night out with the family. It's local, great atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome food at a good price (even though my brother paid for it 🤣). Thank you so much! Never fails to deliver.

Staff are nice however they claim to have a sports bar showing ppv ufc fights when they actually don’t… lying and missing out on a lot of customers from a usually empty Sunday sports venue.

One plate of food came out about 1/2 an hour after the order, but I did not eat it til the rest of the food came out, as I thought it rude. A starter did not come out until the rest of the food came out, which all arrived just over an hour after we ordered. There was only 4 of us and we all agreed it wasn't that busy. Food came out warm, like it had been sitting there awhile. Food was fairly good, but definitely need to work on sauces, gravies were too thin and tapenade was extremely dissapointing.

Lunch run by two staff members, both clearly stressed and disorganised. Two items ordered out of stock. Wrong drinks initially provided. Simple salad with chicken was terrible, wilting lettuce and over cooked dry chicken. Just have a liquid lunch at this place, don't waste your time with their food, go through MacDonald's drive threw when leaving for ordinary food.

Lovely atmosphere .food presentation was good but lacking flavour . I had the grilled Salmon . Was dry and flavourless same as mashed potato . Wish I could give them more because service and atmosphere was really nice.

Large venue with 3 seperate areas. Restaurant, gaming and sports bar. Nice clean modern venue. Complimentary drinks for those having a gamble. Very spacious. Mid size off street car park. Friendly staff and patrons.

Just the 'local pub' - but outstanding quality of service, flexibility with our pesky personal food preferences, and really good meals! Very much enjoyed our time there, and felt very welcome. Planning on making it a regular date!

Huge improvement with food here.. unsure if they got a new chef or not, service was fast and food was a good porion size and tasty.. atmosphere was a bit loud as the dining room is open plan and the noise travels

Great place to have lunch with the kids, playground easily accessible for them and completely enclosed so parent's don't have to worry.

Good spot for a drink and dinner. Can be a bit hit and miss with food but great specials and lots of parking. Staff are lovely and always accommodating

Food has always been pretty good here in the years I have been going here. The only recent issue is that if you order starters and mains, the mains come along as you are still eating your starters. Not sure if we're not doing something right but other places can get this right with their software 🤷🏽♂️ and I should add its only on the restaurant side.

Firstly, a place that welcomes dogs! Secondly, delightfully friendly and helpful staff that also provided a drinking bowl for our dog. And thirdly, my wife and I totally enjoyed our food, so does the Salisbury Tavern get our vote? You bet! We will be back. Well done all.

Booked for Christmas buffet. Upon arrival given a plate and told you will only get one plate for mains and to reuse it. Food was stale, slider was rock hard, brushetta the same, was expecting fresh prawns got peeled prawns with no taste. Absolutely the worst Christmas buffet I have ever been to. Asked for a refund. Manager said why didn't we leave earlier instead of sitting there for 2 hours. Honestly we paid a total of $560 for 4 people we were entitled to sit there thank you very much. Manager refunded one person's lunch fee. Thank you.
Absolutely heartbroken for our Christmas day family lunch.

Beautiful tavern - love the gorgeous garden & fairy lights! Great service, food was served quick and was lovely and hot. Really enjoyed our dinner - will definitely be back!

An amazing local pub! We had my daughters first birthday party here this weekend, as the weather made us relocate from the park. The staff were not just accommodating but went out of their way to help with her cake and make sure the whole couple of tables were looked after. The food was delicious and huge sizes! Thank you very much.
