We were looking for a place to eat Saturday night 19 Feb 2021 and it was getting close to 8pm so we thought we would call in and try it out. I had chilli prawns and the wife had grilled barramundi. Food was quite tasty and we'll presented considering how late we were. Atmosphere, not sure wasn't very busy but ok. The bistro was clean and modern and staff were friendly.
Pokies is were most people were but found it uncomfortable don't know why but just had that feel.

Prices 9/10
If you after a cheap pub meal this is for you, it's not bad but not great.
Would I go back, not sure.
Have heard renovations are on the way might give it another go.

We were greeted nicely by staff, having a late Mother's Day seafood buffet lunch at 2. Complimentary champers for the mums was nice.
I'm not a seafood eater, so will not rate that, no complaints from hubby, though. 2 roasts were on the go beef and pork, which was moist and tender. Did only see one gravy, though. Roast veggies were good. There were plenty of dishes to choose from, but I think kids need to stay away from the servery. Food was always replenished. There were no whole dinner rolls, only slices, and there was no ice cream machine. The lil tubs of ice cream weren't that great.
There was plenty of lil slices and cakes to choose from.
Used plates could've been taken away quicker.
All staff were very friendly and we had a very nice afternoon.

Went in to second sitting, and the food wasn't replaced. Having to pay the full price to only half the menu available. Went back for more dessert, and it was being put away, soup placed with the desserts and poorly signed. Will never go back there. Never saw pavlova or Apple pie or steaks.

We love this place! The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is a bother to them!
We tell everyone we meet about it! Best place for lunch on the coast!

Wasn’t overly impressed with the saltwater creek hotel. We went on a quieter night for dinner and the food took a long time to come out. I ordered a steak with mash and veg. The mash was on the hard side and I ended up having to mash it properly with my fork.
I had my baby with me and I had to go to the closed side of the hotel to access the change room facilities as they did not have one in the food/restaurant area.
I wouldn’t recommend eating here unfortunately.

Very cool place,clean and tidy ,great service is great atmosphere and food looks awesome highly recommend a hidden gem on the coast.

The food is okay, nothing special stood out. It is simply pub food. I had the barramundi which was mostly nice but also a little dry. The service is friendly and staff keep the venue clean

such good food for great prices! Staff members are absolutely lovely. Very clean and put together nicely. staff members are probably the nicest workers I’ve ever met! Will definitely be returning

So I would give the buffet 3 stars but the sports bar bistro 5 stars, so I went with an overall 4.
The buffet is good, but the food isn't always the freshest. Service is always good.
We stopped at the Sports Bar bistro on a public holiday as the buffet was not open. No surcharges but no $15 menu. Fine by us.
I paid $85 for a family of 4 to eat and it was terrific food. Other members of our group all loved their meals and no 2 of us ordered the same thing. For once, I saw everyones plate completely finished.
The food had lots of flavour, was fresh, beautiful presentation and fantastic service.
We were extremely happy with our lunch choice!

Saturday lunch buffet , busy as you’d expect. Food was great, topped up with fresh product frequently. Manager Julie is a character, a credit to the business and quite entertaining too. Great price for what you get!!

My local, but also eat here quite often and everything is always pretty good. The staff are all excellent and when you go regularly its great to get recognised and acknowledged personally, speaks volumes for the effort they put in to make the place great.

Most of our meals were good, however the kids nuggets and chips ($10) had 7 nuggets and 8 chips! We asked about it and the girl said it was up to the chef on the night and didn’t offer to check. The steak was supposed to be well done and was pink in the middle. The other meals were good.

It's not a 6-star restaurant
It's a pub, a great pub, a great variety of dishes in the buffet.
All the staff are very friendly and nice

Its a small buffet with not enough food to go around, the seating area is triple the size of the food selection and they didn't have an ice cream machine 🥺

Have been meaning to try here since moving to the area. Finally did.
Was very happy with the quality of the food. Prices were great value.
Lacked a little atmosphere, but overall a great experience and will return.

Great food , definitely on the weekends with all you can eat . Very crowded but there was room to sit and enjoy your time there .

Good local pub with reasonably priced meals. Friendly staff.
Great lunch today ,(18/12/21)at reasonable price. 300 gram fillet with a side of garlic sauce bugs. Yum.
Update 29/12/22 : I have included the current Sports Bar lunch and a la carte menus. There is also a daily specials board behind the bar which always has a 250gram rump with chips, salad and choice of sauce for $15 at lunchtime (I don't think the $15 rump is available for dinner but could be wrong).

Good buffet, the staff here are really nice and they cater for groups of all sizes. The rib night is great. Cheaper to eat here during the week. Highly recommended to anyone who likes a buffet dinner.

First time I went there was just a couple of day before what will be my last.
First time was awesome , had the lamb cutlets and even paid for a fourth one and they were best lamb cutlets I've had , second visit a couple of day kater was rubbish . Cutlets were Les than half the size, burnt and looked like a dog had chewed them before cooking . Worst part is we took a friend to celebrate something and told him how great the place was , how embarrassing was that day.

Enjoyed our dinner here. We had the lamb chops, beef burger and chicken parmigiana. Classic pub food. Coming back for the buffet on Friday. Just a short walk from the big 4. O and there's pokies.

Came to this place based on the reviews. Sadly my experience was far from what I have read of others, my meal was terrible, my fish clearly was from a bird's eye box from the supermarket and the rest of my seafood definitely wasn't fresh. My kids wanted a pizza, but the waitress informed us that they were out of stock as they are brought in frozen,

Busy for a Monday and the kids eat free. Great staff and we had a great time. Bottle shop next door and we will go back again

Buffet was very kid friendly, overall good service and friendly staff. Food was ok as expected of a buffet. Would avoid the chicken wings, rice items and jelly but all other food items were decent. Lovely atmosphere with good music if not a little crowded.

An unpolished jewel of a place to eat or meet up with family n friends. All basic surrounds but if you are looking for a good feed at the best prices this is it. Easily feed a family of 4 for under $80. Highly recommended and staff are awesome too.

Amazing food. Great customer service. Reasonable prices. Have just relocated here from interstate. The floor manager was amazing and fit me and my 12yo son in even though I had forgotten to book. Loved all the buffets of fresh food and all staff was amazing and efficient. Highly recommend! Thanks. Mazz
