We stayed there on the way to Sydney, the room was good and did the job for us .
Staff are friendly as well.
Special thank you to Dan for looking after us and being a great communicator.
On the way back we stopped for lunch and again Dan looked after us and sorted our food order .
Food was yummy and cooked perfectly and my schnitzel was awesome and big
the dinning room staff are amazing and friendly.

Went for a Steak Dinner Night and sat outside so relatives could watch the kids in the playground. We had to move tables twice because the birds in the bushes overhead were excreting on the table. I asked for some butter for my steak when ordering and was told "We don't have butter". I enquired again when the meals came up and was abruptly told again "We don't do butter". Seriously, it's a kitchen staple and it's too much effort to put a little bit on the side, well enough said.

Travelling from Sydney decided to stop for some dinner. Quite busy, very casual and family oriented.
Few selections of food on the menu. Decided to try the tacos. Fish and southern fried chicken accompanied by a bowl of fries and some cheesy garlic bread.
Cheesy bread was ok. Soft and bit soggy. Needed the crunch, may be toasted more.
Fries had a good crush but was very under seasoned. Lack something more than just deep fry, salt & pepper. The sauce wasn’t good at all.
Fish tacos! Wouldn’t say the best! Fish was deep fry nicely, not dry nor oily, well seasoned. The tacos could have done better. Tacos were dry accompanied by some red onions, capsicums and mix salad leaf. Salad was obviously not fresh.
Chicken tacos! The chicken was deep fry too long. Texture was chewy, and very dry. The seasoning was spot on and nice flavour.
Would definitely recommend anyone travelling to pop in.
Total cost for 2 people! $70

Took my assistance dog here. OOO BOI
got asked to leave, showed the THREE security guards my id( obviously a disabled person needs three security guards) and explained to them that I was allowed to be there. At which point the security guards begin harassing me about the dog they could now not throw out, until I lost it, at which point they used that to throw me out.
The security guard know the blind spots and will drop a shoulder into you if they can.
their manager tried to deny all wrong doing. The owner is still silent.
Don’t go here, save yourself the trouble.

This was really terrible to be honest. It was so manic, screaming kids everywhere (and I have two of my own so used to kids making noise) the one kitchen staff who served us our food through the window was so rude... no trays to carry your food so you have to walk back and forth several times... my food tasted fine but there wasn't a great deal on the plate. The queue to order and pay for food was ridiculously long and only one person serving. We booked in a non weather affected areas only to be reserved seats swimming in rain water....
Will not go back.

The Thai beef salad was delicious, a bit heavy on dressing. Will get it on the side next time. Otherwise amazing!

The steak was very juicy and well rested. The ribs can fall off the bones, juicy and delicious. Love it .

The chicken parm was SO good and the staff were super friendly and nice. After a few scooners, there's even a shuttle bus that will take you home (or on to Finnians Irish bar for some live music later) if you like!

Staff went out their way to accommodate us with no notice (family of 6) food was awesome and very reasonably priced, the kids loved the park, we are very grateful 🙏

Packed pub on a busy Xmas week. Staff amazing, Food Great and short wait times considering the crowd. Stacey sorted the kids a Santa letter which was a nice touch as well.

My partner and I went for dinner. The staff were super friendly and lovely.
The meals were okay. Nothing crazy. We were told there were no sultanas in the apple crumble but when we ate it unfortunately there were. I ordered steak medium rare which it was unfortunately more rare than I’d usually like. My partner’s burger patty was slightly underdone on the inside but overall the meal was yummy despite those things and it was a nice experience. The creme brûlée flavour was actually quite nice considering and the chips were delicious. The veg was cooked perfectly as well.
Not a terrible place for if you’re hungry and the prices aren’t that bad.

My family went to the Settlers Inn specifically for the 'award winning' snitzel. We were a bit baffled as to how it was award winning; one tasted like it was seconds out of the freezer and the others were bland. I ordered simple potato wedges which was meant to come with sour cream - our table tasted it and concluded it was: warm, yellow, runny and off. My Dad took it to the chef to ask for it to be replaced. My Dad is very anti-confrontational but despite this, the chef was visibly rude/annoyed. The 'sour cream' was replaced albeit a little warm, but at least it was white, not runny and tasted like sour cream.
We booked a table for 8 in the 'beer garden' and whilst our table was reserved, it wasn't clean when we arrived at our booking time. The website doesn't have pictures of each area you can sit and if I saw a picture, I wouldn't have chosen that area - it is more like an area for people with little children because it is next to a playground area. There are also bugs everywhere and we got bitten by mosquitoes. Definitely choose the undercover area or inside which is much nicer. The service was good at the bar - there was a lady that served us for the food orders and she was pleasant + competent. Overall though I wouldn't recommend or return because of the food.

Modern, clean friendly venue with a modern beach style aesthetic, open and spacious friendly staff, fairly priced, large onsite carpark with a bottle shop, I had the voted best chicken Parma, which wait times where next to nothing, great flavour

Just came from Melbourne to visit my family. Customer service is great and haven't seen this in such a long time. Staff and manager making sure everything ok.
We been 2 times and eat different meals and the food is so nice and good quality.
Definitely back again and recommend anyone to eat and drink here. 😀🤙

I’ll start off with positives, clean bedding and towels. And clean dining area in pub to eat and nice staff, but in the room one of the worst rooms I’ve been in. The mold in the shower is very bad, breathing that much in can cause sickness’s especially for kids, the rust ontop of the shower and under the shower head and on top of the shower curtain can cause bad issues for anyone who touches it. The mold growing in the shower curtains is disgusting also, the bathroom wasn’t even clean, still had mess on the bathroom sink and mirror. The beds were all broken, the balcony looked like a druggys hide out and a few items broke with the most simple touch and without touching, the lights blew from just turning it on once, the aircon didn’t even turn on and the towel holder fell just from having a towel on it. They’re no utensils in the place except few towels ect, a single soap bar. Outside theirs cleaning products everywhere and unstable stairs for such an amazing pub the hotel rooms just ruin it entirely i hope you guys can improve it.

Had lunch in this venue. Despite a great family friendly playground and menu - the prices were disappointing. $15 for a kids meal with drink and ice cream, was as expensive as some of the adult meals. Most families can’t afford that! Drinks were also expensive.
Otherwise the snitzel, wings and fish n chips were great.

Great atmosphere, until you want to get served, Bar maid snobby and just plain rude. Shame because food was good. Won't go back or recommend. Service left a bad taste .😒

For the money I expected more. Beds not comfy. Bathroom very grotty (grout and shower curtain mouldy and shabby). Balcony grotty. Thank heavens the sheets were clean. Felt like a cheap 70’s motel - it’s 2024 and we paid nearly $300 for one night for a family room (3 of us). No shampoo. Sad. Staff friendly at check-in.

Fantastic lunch , we always have lunch here as we drive from Coffs Harbour for Drs appointments, great variety on their lunch specials the Chicken pot pie is my favourite

Awesome place for a feed for the whole family, awesome outdoor area at rear and a great beer garden at the entry way, very much varied menu caters for the picky and the non picky

Arrived around 615pm on a Friday night. It was bustling, lots of chatter and laughter. Many of the tables were reserved for 7-730pm but we were early so no matter but suggest a booking if you eat a bit later. We both ordered the grilled barramundi and it was amazing-fresh, melt in the mouth and so very tasty. Served with a fresh coleslaw, fries and tartare sauce.
