What a great little Bar and restaurant.
The food and drinks were top level and the staff both professional and friendly.
I wish I had a Bar like this around the corner from my place.👍👏

We ordered a pizza listed as a “Carnivore Pizza” which was $26. Firstly, the pizza had little to no sauce, secondly had very little cheese and last, but not least, had almost literally no meat topping whatsoever. The pizza was essentially the dough base and even that wasn’t all that good. Definitely won’t be coming back. Total rip off. I wish I had taken a photo for reference. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Glad I had good company otherwise it would have been a total waste.

The live music on Saturday afternoons is really good. Just a really nice relaxing atmosphere

so disappointed
we have been eating here since it reopened the food was excellent back then
the last few months the food has become inedible
ordered the chicken tonight and it was like a piece of rubber , told the staff and was told sorry about that, previously ordered steak ( not cheap) and it’s was like leather
my last visit to this place it’s a shame because because it’s a regular locals meeting place

Small sports/casual dining bar located on the Crowne Plaza property. A very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The food is well priced and the wait time was minimal. Indoor and outdoor dining is available and there are a handful of poker machines for those who wish to dabble.

Sensational flathead with the best chips and salad I have had. On the $15 lunch menu Monday to Thursday at Shooeys.....can't fault it in anyway

Reruns of M*A*S*H on the large TV. A Vet program showing birthing cows on the other. Not the sort of thing you want to eat your food to. Asked staff to show some sports instead (especially as their local soccer A league team was playing that night.... nada).
Food. Burger was pretty average, well, below average, really. Tasted like low quality meat patty. Pizza was tasty but luke warm to touch. Beer (Balter XPA) was the only redeeming feature.
I'd give it a miss and take a walk to surfers paradise instead.
Staff were pleasant and responsive, though.

Paid $39 pp for the buffet breakfast here, and rather disappointed with the simple standard breakfast menu. They ran out of ginger at the juicing bar, the fried rice is hard as uncooked rice, and the hash brown is salty.
Service here is so so, don't look enthusiastic at all.
Overall a rather tired emosphere restaurant.

Loved it. Food was really good. Staff were lovely and the actual venue was up to date modern, clean and the sports screens great but not intrusive. We will go again.

Live down the road and frequent this little gem weekly.
I dont understand why its not busier?
$15 lunches are unbeatable.

It’s a big accolade, but it’s true -first of all go and see the best bartender and margarita, Maker on the Gold Coast Des..
THE WORST THIS .. I found this place on my last day on the Gold Coast if I had of known about it I would’ve been there every day eating and drinking. The prices are amazing, the services is fantastic the tacos are great. once again the margaritas are great if you order it, classic or sweet with a bit of agave to taste … There is a cocktail happy hour Monday to Saturday between 8 and 10 pm or all House cocktails are $14 -shut the front gate lol 😂
The mistake you made is going anywhere else. Bring your mates here. Your tummy will be full ,your thirst be quenched and your wallet won’t be lighter ….best place on the Gold Coast.
Huge big screen TV for watching all sport events as well.
Just shut up and call the Uber now .

Having been a regular at the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, this last time, will probably be my last. The Chicken Schnitzel was cooked to an inch of its life (and let’s be honest, it’s hard to cook them to be that dry!), and the Steak that was requested medium-well done….came out stone cold in the middle.
The mash with the steak and the chips with the chicken…well I won’t even comment.
The only saving grace, was that the service was friendly and staff were professional.
The Crowne Plaza Surfer’s Paradise used to be my go to hotel when on the Gold Coast - sadly the last few visits have continued to see a decline in service and quality to a point in which it’s not worth the money.

Having arrived after dark to our accommodation for the Gold Coast Marathon weekend it was good to find this ‘Sports’ bar not far from where we are staying. Typical bar food menu on offer and we both enjoyed the calamari was crisp and tasty. My steak was quite good with a generous serve of salad and crispy chips. My daughter enjoyed the fish tacos. The chicken wings were tasty and, typically, ‘messy’ to eat.😬 The staff were friendly. There used to be a gaming room attached and a TV screen for watching sport for those interested.

Had a wonderful meal, the barramundi was perfect and the Bernaise sauce was the finishing touch

Had a great Club sandwich with on tap alcoholic ginger beer and Lachlan made my wife a Toblerone cocktail to go with a Barramundi lunch.

Great steaks. We've taken 3 sets of friends on 3 seperate occasions and can't talk over the music, inside or outside. A lower volume would be great please. Staff are excellent 👍

Friendly staff, fabulous place for a quiet weekend drink. Televisions showing sports but not blaring sound. Food is quality without crazy prices, highly recommend the steak

Found this place during a two-week visit to The Goldie. Ate here almost every night, due to the quality and price of their meals. Why this establishment isn't a Broadbeach institution is a mystery. Now my favourite Gold Coast destination for a meal and a drink or two.

Don't eat here. A friend and I ordered the schnitzel burgers and there was "something wrong" with it. We both knew it shortly after taking a bite. My friend became instantly unwell, and I could not bear to finish the burger; it was disgusting.
We mentioned this to others that night and we weren't the only ones who had been served awful food here.
The staff were friendly, however some other patrons were drunk and causing problems for others.
Everyone involved (patrons, staff, chefs, owner, security etc) should honestly have better standards.

Delicious meals with cheap lunch specials, fancy cocktails and a good variety of sports on the TVs. Overall it’s great little sports bar built into the Crown plaza.

Bar at crowne plaza. I like their ginger beer, so easy to drink. Some pokies are there, green forest interior with little cute artificial flower pots on each table. Open 10am. Clean and tidy.

A little cold atmosphere but friendly service and good food quality. I had the oysters and then the rump steak. Both very tasty and the steak cooked perfectly. The vegetables were still al dente and very well prepared, highly recommended.
