Wow guys the new menu and meals are to die for. Bought the $14 chicken schnitzel with $5 toppers and had to take half of it home. Keep up the good work guys

Worth a stop if you're travelling. Great rainy day vibes and would be even better with nice weather. Lunch special has so much value. I would recommend a thick, crunchy chicken schnitzel with a fresh salad and delicious chips, topped with the Irish sauce.

We visited this restaurant for my husband’s birthday! Ordered oysters kilpatrick and natural, both lovely ! Then as mains the beef and Guinness pie with veg and gravy. Watched other diners receive same meal with a lovely disc of puff pastry on top with mash and veg served along side ! Our pie arrived minus the puff pastry but with mash on top and minus gravy with hard crunchy vegies ! Must of run out of pastry but just dropped it on us without any explanation! Spoilt a lovely meal by not explaining there was a problem and offering an alternative! It really did ruin the overall experience! We did not order cottage pie!

We stopped in for lunch on our way up north. Was quiet and sleepy on a Thursday afternoon. The place is huge and can accomodate a huge crowd if needed. Tables indoors, outdoor(covered) and out on the lawn. We sat in the covered and protected outdoor area with our puppies. Drinks were cold and food was tasty. Small gripe was the chips were not the freshest but could have been a one off. Can recommend for families as there is plenty of outdoor area away from the car park. Offers some views over the river.

Went with a group. Booked table for 6pm. Bus pick up for 5.45pm. Bus was 1/2 hr late. The meal was OK. Steak was dry, but the meal was just warm. Very disappointing.

Well done team shoreline 👏 thankyou. We had 4 different lunch meals all were fresh and delicious and very filling and cheap prices to boot. Used to come here to harrigans pub and it has always been nice but now it's even better. 👌

We had dinner here last week and it was brilliant, the staff were nice and friendly, the chefs know what they’re doing, the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the morbid music playing while we were eating, we couldn’t have a decent convo without yelling across the table and the music was more like a drunken end of the night as in (yo baby ya gotta ciggy and do ya wanna dance at my joint) but ya gotta say that in a drunken voice. Other than that it was great 😊

We had a beautiful meal. The food was great. The service was also pretty good too. Very busy time as there were lots of children running about in the dining room and playing with soccer balls around our feet while we ate. This was all ok. But when my dad and I went to play the pokies we were horrified to see it was a smoking room too. I actually thought smoking was banned in all indoor public places. Was a disappointing end to a nice evening.

We had a 98th birthday celebration there on Saturday, food was delicious and the staff were ‘next level’ helpful and friendly. Totally recommend.

We came here specifically for the lamb cutlet specials...absolutely over cooked, to the extent of being cremated. I told the waitress I don't want mine cooked that much. Her only response, was we have new bread crumbs. And refused to do anything about it. The waitress taking the order was also rude to my partially deaf friend when ordering. Very poor. We won't be back.

We booked a special event advertised by this establishment for Valentine's Day 2024.It was a set 2 course menu with a choice of 3 mains and 2 deserts . Superb food . My husband enjoyed an eye filler steak topped with lobster tail that was cooked to perfection . It is not something that is always achieved in many cases and my fish dish was delicious. Our waitress was friendly and the service we received was personal and timely. The setting was beautiful , we enjoyed watching a developing storm over the river and the little touches added to the table to make this event romantic were delightful. The menu was affordable and we would not hesitate to attend any future events .Well done to the kitchen staff.

Thought we would stop in for some lunch, and wish we had saved our money. The salad looked like it had been in the fridge for a week and the chicken was old and dry. Absolutely disgraceful food, not worth the money! On the way out I saw one of the kitchen staff on their phone so maybe if they get off tiktok and start doing some quality control things might get better. We won't be back!

Pretty terrible and this was not the first time. Food was all mixed up and they didn’t know what was happening. Entrees came after mains? And food was cold. Ended up getting a refund for the whole meal even over the objections of the noisey kitchen hand. I would think that they would be better served trying to rebrand themselves as shoreline tavern with great service and good food. But sadly fallen short. Work on your service work on your food. Because if I could give 0 for today I would have picked it.

Our first meal out in Harrington and what a shocker. Lots staff around but took 3 people before some one could take us to a table after making a booking over the phone. Food was terrible. Chips looked like they had been cooked 3 time. It was a new take on Salt and Pepper calamari. Tasted only of salt. The chicken tenders were .. not tender. Tough as boots. Even getting water was a chore.

Ordered food for lunch and it took nearly 1.5 hours to arrive. The salad, sauce, and chips were nice but nothing exceptional. I had asked for medium steak but it was very well done, dry and tough. I brought it to the attention of the wait staff who were unapologetic. Such a shame as the location and atmosphere were great.

Nice place by the Manning River. It still is a pub with basic pub food. Not a lot of choice in the menu. Also the food was a bit pricy. Coffee was soso. Good service

Nice place and beatiful food. Great Service with very welcoming vibes from the staff. I loved how they cooked the steak so tender, but maybe I would try the other sauce next time. Mushroom sauce is not for me. My wife had the Beer battered King Dory and love it. I also love the Chili Salt&Pepper Squid. Definitely i will comeback again.

My husband and I decided to get married at the Hunter Valley Gardens so we looked around for places that could host the event and found harrigans. My mil had heard good things about it so we decided to stay there and have them host our wedding and have our reception there. I will start with the reception, my pregnant sister ordered fish and salad since EVERYTHING else on the menu she couldn't eat. As garlic, nut and gluten intolerant my choices were slim too. My sister cut into her fish and it was undercooked, I'm glad she cut it to make sure cause I likely wouldn't have. My steak, one of the few things I could eat, was rare when I ordered medium. Second steak was well done instead of medium. I gave up after that and just left it uneaten as all well done steaks should be. Our room was lovely, so is the loungeroom area. Expected a microwave, we called about it and was told she thought there was one. There wasn't. I was extremely excited to have a spa bath but I noticed quickly that the tiles around the bath were very slippery, I slipped getting out and again while rinsing the tub cause I needed to lean so far forward to turn the taps on and the now wet floor was slippery as. The jetts in the spa admitted dust and hair into the water when i ran them and its very loud but doesnt seem to work. The shower uses the same tiles so is an extreme slip hazard. Bathroom needs an update, the room only has 2 mirrors and they are both in the bathroom. Room has no exhaust fan to suck out the steam so both mirrors fog up and you are then left with wiping them with one of your 4 precious and too small towels or waiting for them to clear. The toilet is really uncomfortable to sit on. I'm a bit curvy but even my thin hubby found the lid cut into his back while he sat on it. Overall it was nice but its a shame i don't feel it's safe to have a bath again cause I really looked forward to that spa bath

Let’s start with 5 stars. Add 1 star for the location, this place is beautiful. Right on the river and such a lovely space. But my fish and chips took over an hour to arrive (-1 star), our table neighbours waited over an hour and a half with a 45 minute space in between two different dishes despite asking for everything together (-1) and the bar man told me he would not make me a coffee and walked away (-1). The bar lady he left behind made the wrong kind of coffee then told me she wasn’t making it again and I was holding up her line (-2). Food was reasonable but the salad looked about a week old and I was told to find my own salt by staff (-1)

Just had a lovely lunch and catch up with friends. Food was wonderful and service was fast and friendly. The only thing that let down the whole experience was that our table was left with dirty plates and empty glasses for over an hour after we finished. We were quite surprised as there was plenty of staff and minimal patrons.

Have been eating here often 3 - 4 times a week since we arrived here 9 months ago but the last few weeks have noticed the food deteriorating to the point that tonight’s meal was just disgusting - chewy raw cold steak, weird Dianne sauce, lukewarm soggy chips and two mouthfuls of wilting salad. Won’t be in a hurry to go back any time soon if at all. So very disappointed that the food quality (steak, chips and salad usually our choice) was so so good and now just disgusting. What has gone wrong and what are you going to do to fix it.

Food was good overall, especially liked the pesto pasta and seafood basket. Pizza was too cheesy and lack flavour. We were seated comfortably and service was decent. Took a walk along the shore while waiting for food. A pleasant dining experience definitely.

Favourite place to for accommodation, food and walks along the waterfront. Accommodation price has gone up, I use to stay her every couple months with my daughter but now can’t afford to.

Bangers & mash. Not convinced the pork sausages were cooked so left them as raw pork not appetising or safe. Onions a little burnt, mostly raw and certainly not caramelized. Mash lumpy, gluey and under seasoned. Wife's fish and chips was edible but basic home cook quality. Take away pizza not tried yet but expectations are low. This was their last chance and failed miserably.
