Wow Wow Wow , My partner got a schnitzel and it was massive and I mean massive! Tasted delicious as well . Love the country atmosphere and friendly staff. A will return next time we are in town ! Thanks

What a lovely place. Cold beer and air-conditioning, clean and tidy pub with bistro, nice lounge area, put door seating, kids area with car games/ big buck hunter and chocolate machine. Huge variety of drinks, big car park and LOVELY staff.
My first visit, and I Will be back.

We had a party of 40 in lounge bar after Saint Patrick's race day and were told that they were closing that bar because they were too busy..... How much sense does that make? To get drinks we had to go to one of the other already overcrowded bars and make our way back to the lounge bar.
That's like a publican saying business is doing so well, we are always full off patrons so i think we might shorten the bar to make it smaller haha.
Anyway one thing Broken Hill has never had is a shortage of pubs to choose from so we didn't have to walk far to find one that appreciated our business. Thanks The Old Royal Hotel, great feed as well 👍

We had a feed I liked mine but some of it was a bit pink the chicken. I do recommend to go have a look a feed and there is things for the kids to play on so friendly... Hihi...

The schnitzel was well cook and the mushroom sauce was to die for I couldnt believe I had drive from Adelaide to broken hill to enjoy the best schnitzel

Save your money and go and get fish n chips down the road. Garlic bread came out after the meals. I had the flathead and the schooner was bigger, took photos but can't post them here. Had the surf and turf on Friday and won't be going back.

Not good my meal was totally forgotten,I had to bring home with me as the other 8 people had finished there meal by the time I got mine after telling them 3 times. So never again. No rating.

My husband and I just waited over an hour for a snitzel and fish which tasted diagusting, the staff were lovely shmeabout the food ans ridiculous wait

Just left the Mulga Hill Tavern after paying $60 for the two worst meals ever produced, boiled beef coated and badly fried as a so called snitzle rubbish and supposedly grilled butterfish full of some orange coating not asked for, then I tasted it, wet cardboard flavour and well over cooked yuk disgusting, the only thing good about the place was the staff great people, but what a total let down. Warning don't waste your money going there.

I wrote a review on their Facebook page tonight. In regards to a customer that complained about the service and the meal that was served.
The response came from Anna Marie and basically brushed the poor customer off.
I wrote about the poor response supplied to the customer.
After about 10mins from posting my feedback I was blocked by their admin.
Very poor service to customers And rudeness to people who post true and confronting reviews.
This place really needs to lift their game.

I had a juicy eye fillet Diane sauce and veg. Ate the lot. Highly recommended it. You get a complimentary bread roll with your meal. My date had the fisherman basket with salad.

Great food and very affordable, chicken parmi cooked to perfection. Recommend anyone to go there. You can order and collect through the drive through. Will definitely go back best meals in town by far. Been every else in town, and meals aren't as big as the mulga hill tavern.

Fantastic soup but can't make burgers or lasagne to save themselves. Nice friendly staff though but you can't eat them. 😜

A very sociable establishment. The meals are very good quality and good variety. Plenty of nice cold beer on tap. Good selection/variety. The regular clientele are quite easy to get along with and the Friday night crowd in the back bar are generally the younger generation of the local rural society. Quite a decent pub, plenty of parking and it's away from the CBD.

As a visitor to this town, I have found the Mulga Hill Tavern to excel in their restaurant food choices, health serving size, salad bar options & preparation. Highly recommended.
