As a casino customer service representative, one should represent the casino well. However, this particular representative had no smile and a very arrogant attitude. I believe he don't understand that customer service requires friendliness. When I stood in front of him, he just stared at the computer. After a few minutes, he loudly called for “WHO IS NEXT?! which was very weird because I stand right in front of him.
When I asked for a complimentary parking voucher, he said I needed a parking ticket. I told them I left it in the car, and then he stared at me silently for over 8 seconds with an impatient expression. I asked for clarification, and He just said It’s policy.
The representative should clearly communicate with customers like by saying, "I'm sorry, our company policy requires a parking ticket before I can issue a parking voucher. Unfortunately, I cannot provide one without it," instead of just one word or one sentences then falling silent. There was no smile, no greeting, no courtesy, and his communication skills were poor. He lacked the attitude and awareness needed in the service industry. I have visited casinos in Australia and other countries and have never encountered such poor customer service. The representative had short curly hair and a name starting with the letter "J." This incident happened on Wednesday 10/7

Yeah, it's a Casino so you could be lucky or not.
Plenty of bars. My personal favourite is the sports bar.
If you like sports and a bet or Keno then this #1 in Adelaide.
It's central to meet up with friends or groups, in general.
Public transport to the door.
Great deals for drinks in the late arvo with discount drinks. $4 from 4pm $5 from 5pm & $6 from 6pm, simple.
You get even more discounts if you sign up with their Sky City card. It's worth it as it's free to join, just come with current licence for ID.
With cheap meals on different days it's a winner 🏆 every day. The meals I posted were Lobster tail @ $20 & chicken schnitzel at $23.
Just do it!

This was a near perfect hotel experience. From letting us keep our bags there whilst we flew to Alice Springs for 3 days to the seamlessness of just actually staying there, it was all excellent. The location is great for both the city and the river. We had a river view room and the view over the Oval, Festival theatre and the river was stunning. I didn't book a room with a balcony as we find we don't use them, but this time I wished that I had done. The bed was comfortable, there were complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine for my birthday arranged by the wonderful concierge, Lavinia. I loved the iPad to control the room and anything else that you needed for your stay. The staff were good without being too obsequious; when the remote broke, we had a new one within 30 mins and a sorry for putting us through that! The casino was huge but didn't impact on our stay, and the bar and restaurant were fab! The mixologist made me the best Cosmopolitan even though it wasn't on the menu. This was also the first hotel to have both a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

The toilets are disgusting and they let in basically ANYONE !! it used to be only well dressed decent people allowed in, now you could get in wearing shorts, thongs and a t-shirt. Terrible, but it is still entertaining at the end of the day and is the only reason I ever go there, I'm not there expecting to win lol.

However, I noticed that several soft drink machines were out of order during my visit, which was disappointing. Additionally, there were issues with some gaming machines not reading membership cards properly. To address these concerns, it might be beneficial for the management to ensure the maintenance of the soft drink machines and improve the functionality of the gaming machines. Customers may need to try multiple times or seek assistance from staff to resolve any issues with membership card readings. Overall, enhancing these aspects would contribute to a more enjoyable and seamless experience for patrons.”

The Central Cafe is generally friendly, with energetic and smiling staffs. However, the VIP Opal Room restaurant and bar staff exhibit arrogant and cold attitudes. In the past two years, I've never seen them greet guests or smile. The quality of food has declined significantly since they changed the menu, with reduced variety and portion sizes. It feels like there's no longer a need to patronize them.

The ambiance is chic and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening or a celebratory night out. The attentive staff adds to the overall positive atmosphere, providing excellent service with a smile.
What sets SkyCity apart is the well-curated selection of beverages and the creativity behind their cocktails. The rooftop setting adds an extra layer of enjoyment to every sip. It's a fantastic place to unwind, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a romantic night out.
I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the design and layout of the rooftop area. It's evident that SkyCity has created a space that not only offers a top-notch drinking experience but also complements the beauty of Adelaide.
Overall, SkyCity Adelaide, with its stunning rooftop bar, has become one of my favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended for those looking to elevate their social experience in Adelaide

Rude staff at front, have been entered to casino at evening time, went outside for smoke and returning back into casino , stop us at front and asked for id and not allowed to enter again having dress code issue, how bad this was, how they allowed us to enter in at evening and after couple of hours having reason of dress code, people wearing shorts and night dress to get in, I was literally in the pants, very very rude..
Also I had get paid for roulette $360 because I have had won, by mistake they have paid me extra dollars and then after 35 mins they came to me asked for me to give money back because they paid me wrongly, it was mistake from them not me, took that all money from me after 35 mins even some other people on same number won and took off from there, I was only there playing and asked me to give money back, how disrespectful this is.

Really bad attitude of security casino…we three friends came first in the casino without any problem… we came out for smoke… came back in the casino but couldn’t enter… reason was hivis pant… we tried to enter from another entry, that night security with the bold head said I couldn’t allow because another security guy rejected us.. Really Racist.. we saw some guys worn half pants in the casino…Racist Racist Racist

Perfect venue for great music and games. Food choices are first class or value for money if you want. The experience is brilliant secure and welcoming for fun or serious action. A must see and visit every time I am in Adelaide. Beautiful location

Oh what a night, it really was. The ballroom was decorated so beautifully for the xmas in July show. The food was absolutely amazing; staff were attentive and friendly. The show was brilliant, well done all round. Worth every cent and more! Brilliant!

Nice atmosphere inside. Great architecture. Easy to get to. Just get train or tram. Enter through from Adelaide Railway downstairs.
Just don't spend too much money gambling.

It's so pokies orientated these days it's kind of lost it's appeal. Went for the first time in about a decade and probably would give it another go but wasn't overly impressed. Staff seemed a little unhappy and the excitement has gone.

It's a small casino in Adelaide but so many great improvements over the last few years. Biggest plus is Sol Rooftop bar, hard to find but amazing views.
Casino has great drinks specials and worth signing up to the loyalty program

I hadn't been for a long, long time and was impressed with how it looks these days. The decor is very nice and the machines all look very new and very different to the old sort. The cafe was good with great coffee and a nice assortment of cakes. Great for a visit after a show at the Festival Theatre.

I had a fab time here. Most staff are friendly. I won on the machines and didn't even know till someone pointed it out. 10% off food and drinks if you're a member. For month of March 2023 - free parking if you spend over $10. Happy hour drinks (4pm on a sat is when we were there) were amazing value - $4 for sparkling wine. Had a nice decaffeinated latte. Came here after taking my UK friend on Popeye. He's never been to a casino but he enjoyed the excitement. Will definitely come back. As a girl I would feel safe on my own in here. Will come back for lobster 😊💕🦞

I enjoy my visits and I find the atmosphere and layout, awesome.
I am a Silver Member 🤔 so I'm a bit of a regular..
So, there are 4 levels - bronze, silver, gold and there's the Black Tier Members - the Elite lol. Where might you fit??
The Host's and service members are pleasant and welcoming.
I find the Meals well prepared, presented, reasonably priced and enjoyable.
A small amount spent gaming(around $20 I find 😁) and one qualifies for a little, choice of 4 snacks.
Various promotion's happen at different times, just ask at the help desk. One current promotion is, spend(hey, you might be a winner. By spend, I mean turn over) around the $50 mark and there's a choice of 4 meals for $5 and maybe a $1 Coffee voucher.
If you're loosing, walk away. It's about enjoying yourself.

Hello, went to the casino on Saturday, The first time in 14 years. They spent quite a bit of money up grading it. It's defenatly better than previously. They taken the pullman restaurant away, any put Cafe restaurant in on the ground floor with and Italian restaurant. This wasn't for me the Cafe restaurant was average.you needed to review the specials and the days they are on to be worth it. Directions around the casino average, most tables are closed during the day as normal. The Pokie machines pay outs are really low, lower than the clubs I go to they really take your money. Last but. Not least dress codes have really gone the way now.

Great poker room, handful of 2/2 tables running that had a great mix of friendly locals up for a chat. Any skill level is welcome and would recommend for a first timer!
For those who are interested, rake was 10% on 2/2 capped at $16 with $1 of that going towards the jackpot (currently at $35000 for royal flush)
2/5 rake was 5% capped at $21 with $1 for jackpot. They also run a high card on some nights which is drawn at 11pm. If you are the winner of the highest holding at the end of this time you also get a $250 bonus for the night.
None of the higher limit tables seem to get up often.

Attended a Tasting Australia event at Madame Hanoi with friends. Madame's Gin Takeover Festival of Food. Lovely surroundings. Gin cocktails sympathetically paired with the food. A lovely evening of wining and dining. Bought a bottle of the locally made Gin to take home. Really enjoyed this event.

Apt number of gaming machines for the crowd in Adelaide. They have some promotions if you play at the casino.
I faced very unusual behaviour from the staff at the casino. Having played BlackJack several times in different casinos I understand, there’s always a person on the table who’s cranky and doesn’t like someone else’s gaming style and likes being mean to other players and the dealer always tries to calm that person down or else they remain neutral BUT my experience in SkyCity was an exception.
While playing BlackJack, the dealer Novica knew the cranky person and not only supported her but boosted her behaviour and called her a queen and joined the bullying process. It was more than being disrespectful and more of a ganging up behaviour. Haven’t seen such biased staff.
Quite a bad vibe and looks like the casino hasn’t trained their staff well. Never visiting ever again!!
