We had dinner here at the Bistro, the meals were lovely, great size, reasonable price. staff were very friendly and professional. Didn't have to wait too long for our meals to be brought out. Lovely experience.

We had a booking for 11 this evening and we were served by Alice & Erica. The food was divine and the staff were super friendly and showed no hesitation in helping with the menu while trying to decide what to order. I really recommend this venue.

We came a little late for lunch and were refused to order, but as we walked out a voice welcomed us back, we were so pleased to be asked to take an order even though we were late in coming. I thank the person so much because we were tired and needed to take a break. May God bless him for his compassion.😍

The two at the bar on Thursday night should be named and shamed for their behaviour. We made the mistake of coming to Skyways after a farewell dinner for a single drink. We walked over to the bar and these humans with horrid customer service skills refused to serve my friend because they were under the assumption she was drunk. She didn’t cause issues, she wasn’t rude, she simply ordered a drink. Furthermore she’s recovering from a medical incident that occurred a few months ago, so the fact that these two assumed she was drunk based on a simple facial expression is beyond offensive. We all work in customer service and rule number 1 is not to make assumptions with no fact as you don’t know what that person has gone through. I would understand if she was loud, aggressive, rude, stumbling or causing any issues. My friend was so upset that she was singled out, that she kindly asked a man if she could give him money to buy her a drink. The same bar attended happen to overhear and when I got up to buy her a drink, they refused me service too. Perhaps they should have focused on the used needles the the entry of their establishment rather discriminating against someone who did nothing wrong. Absolutely appalling and embarrassing behaviour. Happy to pass on a photo. One is their names was Nat which she was happy to share with us in a very condescending manner.

The staff were amazing, quick and fast service. The food was yummy, just my rump

The staff are all great, welcoming and helpful, however the food. ….the bowl of chips came out first and were dead cold, I had to return them, we then had the mussels special, the sauce was great but all of the mussels were overcooked to the point that they were simply mucus left in shells, if it weren’t for the bread, we would have had to go to maccas to get a full belly.

The meals at Skyways Hotel are absolutely amazing! My family and I go there frequently and have always left there happy & content. From the general manager Jason to the wait & bar staff, all staff are welcoming & provide the best service each time. Would highly recommend for lunch, dinner or planning special occasions.

Stayed here on afternoon & night of 8/11/23. Our check in contact was Jason & he was excellent. We were a little early as we'd come in from Mt Gambier on REX 6.30 flight to Melbourne so had to wait until 10am for reception to open. Check in wasn't until 2pm but he said we could have two rooms out of the three we'd booked. We only dumped our bags there & went over to Westfield shopping centre ( less than a 2 minute walk) . Came back after 2pm & 3rd room was ready. Our rooms were 3,4,&15. All twin singles with ample room for multiple bags & people. Conveniently located 10mins from Melbourne Airport ( that's why we are staying here). We used Uber XL to get here & it was a reasonable price to get here. All checked in & went over to the sports bar for a few drinks. The Bar tender was doing a power of work running the show by herself & made us feel very welcome.
We ate dinner in bistro & our meals were: 3 steak sandwiches, beef risoles & fish n chips. All reasonably priced & very nice meals.
Beds comfortable, hot water in shower, rooms quiet, A/C operational well. Rooms clean & functional. All rooms on ground floor. One of my traveling companions was in a wheelchair but still able to walk a little so the shower/ toilet was accessible. Not sure if a person was totally dependent on wheelchair if rooms availableReally happy with staying here & appreciate the staff being super friendly 🙏🙏

So impressed with Chloe our server! She was phenomenal! Was. A busy night, and she just did not stop! She was bubbly, friendly and apologetic for the perceived wait, she was moving around the bistro so efficiently, was blown away by how good at her job she was. Would love for her to get a pat on the back for doing such a great job! It’s rare to see these days, she was just a delight!

Recently my elderly mother and I attended Skyways for dinner as we had movie reservations booked in across across the road at Village Cinemas.
Jase the bartender was so accommodating as we notified him of a limited timeframe to catch the movie.
He worked to his absolute magic to ensure the meal came out on time (as we had no dinner reservations) so we did not miss the movie.
He went above and beyond, his customer service and the way he made us feel so welcome was beyond appreciated!
Just want to thank Jase and Skyways for the beautiful meal and if it wasn’t for you Jase, we would have missed the the movie or missed the dinner - either way we are very grateful.

Outdoor is quite hot if hot weather without shape. The staffs were generally services and foods tasted okay!

Our family enjoyed Easter Sunday lunch here. 3 generations of us.
We all commented on how delicious our meals were.
From Nasi Goreng, Roast of the day to Porterhouse steak. The kids cleaned up their plates. The customer service was friendly, attentive, and switched on.
We highly recommend, and we'll be back for more. 😊

My Dad's seniors garlic bread and fish and chips he said was delicious. I had the scotch fillet steak with chips and salad, asked for medium which it was but burnt on the outside which gave too much of a charred bitter taste. That aside was pretty good.

Love the nasi goreng and the hamburgers here. Great place to catch up with the whole family. Also shout out to our amazing waitress Erica. Always greets us with a warm smile and makes sure our orders come out right first time every time.

Lovely day spent with our group of 30 members we will be back. We have a request that the grilled fish was not as expected it was more steamed than grilled. Roast beef was excellent all other meals were excellent. Niddrie seniors walking group thanks

Kid friendly, clean toilets, kids play area, spacious, good food with all the pub grubs and nice environment. Wished they could improve their selection of beers on tap. Some dark beers selection would be nice.
We ordered the spicy prawn pasta which was lovely. Not spicy but had that tinge of chilli aftertaste. Jack Daniels pork ribs was a bomb. Cleaned the plate. It was good. Meat falls off the bone and tasted really good. Spot on with the sauce.
Overall a 7/10.

I went here with my family for Easter. Food was great I got the seafood pasta, which tasted amazing. the desert was fantastic the tobelorone cheesecake was very rich. I wouldprobablyshare it with someonenext time. My parents enjoyed the seniors meal. And we all had a great time.

I paid $37 for an eye fillet, which was ok. I only wanted vegetables, I would have received better from the Salvation Army kitchen. The steamed vegetables were shuvved on the plate, very unappetising. We firstly wanted the curry, two were on the chefs menu at 6.30 pm they were both unavailable. Not good enough. We have gone to Skyways for years but since Covid you have gone downhill. Pick up your game, it’s appalling.

Great pub food. The calamari and parma were fantastic and excellent portion sizes, we almost couldn't finish it.
My partner loves the CC on tap, especially, as no one else has it available.

Great dining and bar area. Love the location so close to Tullamarine and Essendon Airports. Walking distance to Westfield shopping centre. Staff amazing, kitchen stayed open to accommodate my birthday lunch. Simply the best food and made my day!!

Erica makes the most delicious espresso martini's that I've tasted . Service from all is staff amazing .

During our meal here we witnessed a waiter constantly eating chips from a bowl and repeatedly doing this before taking them to another table without their knowledge. We also received dirty looks and sneers repeatedly from multiple waiters and this behaviour is not acceptable and should not be tolerated. It should also be looked at very closely as it is very disrespectful and confronting to many. The food on the other hand was cooked well and tasted good. The behaviours of the waiters were not acceptable and we even witnessed the waiter who was taking the chips screaming and swearing at the chef. In a workplace this is not the right way to go around it. Our oysters were also never delivered to our table. His was followed up by the same waiter refunding us and saying that it wasn’t that big of a deal. Do not come to this venue it is horrible.

Attended morning melodies yesterday 26/6.
Overall a good day out, certainly cheap enough at $20 for entertainment and lunch.
The roast meals could have done with some extra vegies, only peas and potato. Meat was good though. Also pumpkin and spinach risotto had no spinach. Tables need a little more room between them for walkers and disabled.
Staff were excellent as usual, nice to see the same friendly faces.
Our group enjoyed the outing, so thank you for a good day.

Always meet a friend here every few months, and the food is always delicious. To be fair I only ever order the Nasi Goreng, as it’s always sensational !
But my friends steak looked amazing too ! The staff were lovely and friendly

absolutely terrible customer service in the games venue,
I am a support worker for an NDIS client, As upon the request of my client, they wanted to enter the gaming venue, Quite obviously to have a of Poke. Upon entering a staff member with black hair, not the prettiest Approached my client and was extremely rude and disrespectful. Ignoring that we continued on with our time there And my client had their phone out and answered the call from a family member, which then turned into a video call. During the duration of the video call, my client was approached by the same staff member multiple times And she demanded my client get off the phone and if he wanted to participate in a video call, it needed to be done outside of the premises. her mannerism was disgusting. Her attitude was appalling and all round just disgraceful,

Congealed gravy with a skin on it.
