What a joke of a franchise this dude runs. Aka Craig powers. After tonight stuff walking out customers stealing other people's meacanhe some new reservations they have done at south gate tamworth still recon no camera evidence we'll see when my barista gets the phone video I gathered and demand your's as well no wonder b&d got out of this ran down dump.
Get injured there fill out a report it was all fine then bam out of no where the manager turns on me after he gets me to sign the report witch I couldn't even get a copy of. Consider I tried to report it to just a bar stuff witch was pointless that's why I went to the manager about it

Was parmi day, so choice of two nice parmi's for $15 each with a nice salad. Plenty of other options on the menu at reasonable prices. ||Service was fairly quick and pleasant.||Servings were very generous and well cooked. ||Recommended!

Very comfortable bed with onsuite. Quiet considering your over the pub. Good food from the kitchen and well kept beer.

Reading previous comments we were a little hesitant, but we went and checked it out and it was pretty decent, it has an excellent kids playground, staff were amazing and the food was awesome! Couldn't fault it at all 👍

Paid $73 to wait an hour and 15 mins for TAKEAWAY. Only to come home to cold food. Burnt schnitzels and 5 chips on the side. Would not Reccomend. Don’t waste your money here.

Paid $73 for two parmis and a kids bangers Amd mash. |Was told food would be ready in 15 mins. We arrive 15 mins later only to wait another HOUR for our food. We drive 10 mins home only to open up to COLD food. 2 burnt schnitzels and like 5 chips with it. |Do not go here. Not worth the hassle. Don’t waste your money

Outdoor dining supposedly no smoking area, yet 2 metres away around the corner is a smoking area with no screen so it will blow in yours and your children's face while you eat. Food is good, but was ruined with th vile stench of cigarettes. Will be reporting to relevant authorities.

Meals were very nice I had chicken cabonara and my son had the chicken burger.
The service from the bistro staff and the bar staff was exceptionally great.
But this event was spoiled by poor
behaviour swearing and language by the regulars the patrons .
There was no consideration of other patrons of this premises.
This was disgusting, they were standing at the bar uttering profanity and this was within earshot of the enclosed dining area with a number of children present.
Very crass behaviour even in a pub setting on a Saturday evening.
Management should consider the needs of other patrons.
I won't be going back there to eat again.

Loved the cake but I would have appreciated more if it was fresh… overall cheese macadamia was good, less sugar and gluten free..

If you want a huge meal, this is the place to go. The meals are massive.
We had a group of 20 people & majority enjoyed their meals. I unfortunately had a steak that was overcooked & tough, wasn't impressed.
Staff very friendly & catered well for our large group.
Handy location, walking distance to Coles, post office, motels, public pool, chemist & leagues club.

Husband and I were looking for a restaurant or cafe for lunch and came across the Southgate. My hubby had steak and I had Salt & Pepper Squid. Very nice we also had a drink from the bar. The young lady who served us was very polite we had a chat about toxic chemicals being used so much over the last 2 years in venues which isn't good for patrons or staff and she said she would give feedback to her boss.

Have had meals here a couple of times, nachos, steak sandwich, crumbed lamb, schnitzel, carbonara pasta are all good, huge portion sizes and priced well.

Had a good dinner and a few beers, friendly bar staff. Great atmosphere. Steak was fantastic, veggies unfortunately where cold. Will come back and try again.

Good food, I had Caeser Salad and it was a filling meal. Wasn't impressed with the 15% surcharge for a public holiday though. Plenty of parking at Coles nearby.

For small businesses these days, it's all about the customer reviews. It doesn't matter how slick of a marketing campaign you have, how much you invest in advertising and hosting grand events; it can all come hideously undone with a couple of unhappy customers who decided to tell the world about it.
Here’s my story :(
I decided to treat my family to what I believed was a treat down at my local pub here
Not only was my wife looked up and down like she was a piece of meat but the food …. ooohhh lord the food WAS HORRIBLE!
The taste of burnt everything was indulged to my taste buds, it took three days of mouth wash to disinfect the taste of burnt charcoal flavouring from my sinuses.
Who ever Granted the ”chefs” here permission to cook anyone anything is not only a crime against the culinary art of cooking but potentially a lawsuit waiting to happen.
I regret every moment ordering food in that venue
The only major positive was the beautiful bar staff and other attendance on scene
Upon arrival I was greeted with a beautiful personality at the door
If only these beautiful souls weren’t let down by the horrible mess and distasteful disgrace of its kitchen

Celebrated my 60th birthday here yesterday. Staff were fantastic, especially Allison, food was delicious and we were all served quickly. Highly recommend Southgate Inn for your next function. Thanks so much to all the staff.

Asked if I could have my dog outside and the staff lady said it wasn't allowed but the duty manager said yes as he was only little n no bother ..so made me very happy 😁

We went on St. Paddy's day. We loved the decorations and everybody dressed up and there was Irish food as the specials for the day and Green Jelly. Thank you for doing this
The music was too loud though for lunchtime.
