What drew me to visit this place was firstly the external architecture,which looked more like an old country pub.I was blown away by the interior design.I was impressed with the friendly gaming/bar duty manager,she was really nice and capable in her demeanor.I thought that the security set up was also on the mark and would be a comfort to those who choose to frequent this place.The drive in Bottle Shop had a vast variety of items for sale.I didn't buy any food so I cannot comment in this area.Because I worked as a supervisor in this area for a few years,I personally do not gamble on the gaming machines.But I can understand why the elderly like to spend their time playing them.Of course the machines by law ,need to payout about 87 cents in every dollar spent ,so the odds are stacked against gamblers.( A good way for organised criminals to launder their money!)

Went for dinner for a family get-together. The atmosphere is excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, and meals are excellent. Reasonable pricing and decent sized meals, you don't go away hungry. Many options on the menu. Would definitely go again and would recommend this place.

We had a function in the room out the back. It was so hot and uncomfortable.
The cooling system wasn't on or not working properly. We ended up going outside as believe it or not it was nicer.

We came here on a Friday night for a table of 20. We booked about 3 weeks in advance and called a week early to confirm and ensure everything was OK. We arrived and tried to find our table and weren't able to. Asked staff to help, and they were also unable to. They had forgotten our table and had 20 people waiting. Props on their part, they were helpful, and found is a table, but it had water dripping on half of it. We asked to move, and they moved a later reservation to that table, and we got a different one. The garlic bread was delicious and very cheesy. The aracini balls were OK but very crunchy on the outside, but the sauce with it made it delicious. My little brother thoroughly enjoyed his nuggets and chips. We also had a margarita pizza, which was basic, but still yummy. I had the carbonara, which was very creamy and full of chicken, which I enjoyed, but the pasta itself was a bit chewy and clearly overcooked. However, a family member of mine has the exact same dish, but it tasted very different. It was presented very blandly and hardly had any chicken in it. I tried some of hers compared to mine, and the difference was significant. It is not always a good thing to not have consistency with every dish. It was a nice family dinner that was a bit soured by the start, but all the kids enjoyed the lovely playground they had. Wouldn't go again, but it was a nice experience overall.

Update 7/1/24
Down to 4 again. The pork belly was once a great dish and have had it many times. However, they don't even try to make the skin crispy anymore. They are happy to serve soft rubber. It wasn't really busy at the lunch time I ordered.

Upped to 5 stars. They were so accommodating to my diet and they know how to cook steak perfectly.

Great pub grub for the price (and some dishes that are really amazing) The specials can be hit and miss. But come and make your own decision

There pokies seems to be the best part.
Food is a proper hit or miss.
My steak was so under cooked on one half and fully cooked on the other... I don't even understand how they happily put it on a plate.
The kids play area is really good, if only the food was worth it.

The food was very good, steak and veggies well cooked, and my wife’s chicken bites and salad she enjoyed. Unfortunately we arrived quite late for a meal and had rang prior to confirm it was ok. She was very hostile when serving us, and had a standoffish demeanour. Would recommend the food but unfortunately not the service.

The food was disgusting and unfortunately not all the chefs fault. Food sat under heat lamps for 20 minutes before being called to pickup. Look at the chips. 4 meals over $100 and couldn’t eat any of them. Walked out disgusted. Haven’t been there since 2014 since a similar issue and will be another 9 years before back again.
Kids also allowed to run riot screaming and running around so cannot even say the environment was acceptable.
A lot for the Tavern to work on if they want to improve.

Staff are friendlier and more helpful now. Food is always very good, would go more often if they didn't charge card fees. They keep Reno's up to date so the atmosphere is great, was a great place to watch Superbowl. Bottlemart app specials are great value. Drive through staff give especially good service.

Springdale Heights Tavern has so much to offer.
The food here is simply amazing.
Never in my life have I seen a Joker Porer reach $20,000.
100% great place for all the family.

Service was not good has we had booked a table in advance for our evening and we got put in the middle of a function that had nothing to do with our family noisy kids and adults couldn't hear ourselfs think abousltly terrible! All the function severed before general public not involved in that function! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that just wants a quite night out!!! Line for food had to wait in the toilet!! Asked mutilpiule times to turn the aircon down was turned down at one point of the evening but then turned back on freezing after 10 mins! I don't think I'll be back

Ordered food early on during the lunch service on mother's day, to be rudely asked what we wanted without any pleasant greeting by a middle aged blonde hair woman taking orders.
I had nicely asked if the pork belly comes with proper crackling as some other venues I have been to have not bothered to make it crispy to which the woman bluntly told me well yeah it does come with crackle and tried to "educate" me on the cut of meat like I was an idiot and very much had the attitude of *well derr it comes with crackle*.
I saw a sign at the counter saying mums get a free glass of bubbly so I asked her how that works and just got a very blunt response of I'm only taking food orders not drink orders, go to the bar if you want drinks.
I'm sorry but this woman is not very polite or being caring or informative and should not be in a customer facing environment.
And FYI the crackle was only partially done. Alot of it was still like jelly.

Ordered a Entrée and Main meal
Entrée was great hot and served up quickly even though venue was 75% Full but main was served before entree was even finished must think we're Gluttons the salt and pepper squid was not cooked properly just a bit to chewy
Had Sunday lunch at the tavern orded two different kinds of steak I had the scotch fillet medium rare with chips and salad with Diane sauce steak was nicely cooked to My liking chips and salad were satisfactory
Second order was 250 gram rump steak cooked medium rare with chips and salad and Diane sauce
Well the rump steak was cooked right but arrived at the table barely warm simple not good enough should be at least warm to hot chips and salad were ok but they need to lift there game a bit

Looks are deciving Food was over cooked dry and tastless, also you have to go to the counter to order and get your meal do not recommend eating there.

I went here with a large group and I think that the staff managed extremely well.
The food was amazing, hot and plentiful.

I wasted an hour waiting for my so called Express Lunch. Two staff advised that there was no record of my order on their system and it was not their problem.I showed them my credit card billing and it was still not their problem. It was a computer problem or due to renovations. No admission of responsibility or apology from either staff member. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for take away as thy could not refund my money as the order was not on the system. No compensation for my time wasted

I ordered the Salt'n'Pepper Squid 🐙 with Salad 🥗 and chips 🍟 😋 and it was amazing 👏 😋.
I wanted more but I was so full after the big lunch.
The Stunning service Lady with long black hair who served me was so kind, and had a big Georgous Smile that lit up the room everywhere she went, I'd so go back there everyday if I could. 😊😊

I love their glass garden seating atmosphere. Service was good but the food is a bit disappointing. Our pasta was so blant and the portion of the Salmon is something you wouldn't expect though portion is big enough almost for 2 person meal.

Great friendly and honest customer service. I have never had a bad meal there. Have only recently ventured past the bistro. Impressive renovations since I was last here. Top notch.

Good first impression - great service and comfy seating for dining. We came here for lunch for a breather from all the wedding hum drum - wasn't a fan of the fish fillets but everything else was pretty good - particularly the squid rings. Bacon doesn't come with the fish and chips (they were from my friend's burger!). If I was to ever go back here I'd probably get the steak which my friend enjoyed.

Food is so worth the price and the renovation looks great. Indoor playroom for the kids which you don't get many places around here with that. Well done!
