Took my wife there for mothers day on sunday. The staff were amazing and food was so good! We go there offen go here and would recommend it to anyone!

The (tattooed)lady that seated us and took our order could do with some lessons in customer service. Found her very abrupt and seemed like she didn't want to be there. The steak was so dry but thankfully the Dianne sauce was nice. I know I ordered well done but a good chef can still cook it so it's not so dry.

The customer service is still very good. There is a new online system to order your food. It is good because you don't need to line up to order but there is also a negative element on this process, a surcharge which is not really good on these difficult times. The surcharge should be assumed by the hotel as they are using their staff to do other things while you order and pay online.

The bistro staff are lovely, the steaks are great and the price is on point. All round great place for a Friday night steak.

Springfield Tavern never disappoints - big shout out to Will who is always happy, good for a chat and values the importance of customer service, he is a true asset to the establishment. There is a good variety of food options, the roast lamb is amazing and the menu is well priced. If you are in the gaming room, non-alcoholic beverages are free, including coffee. Keep up the great service, food and beverages.

So all new and update. Great. However, we noticed that the snitzel is much smaller and same price. Child's meal was cold and adults meal not so great. Felt like Woolies bag salad and snitzel with cold chips. We won't be back.

Service staff were friendly. Menu however let it down. Typical pub grub for meals. Nothing spectacular to mention. Great for locals who simply don’t want to cook. Over priced for what it was.

Ordered a cheese and bacon garlic bread through the online system which came out to the table. Then ordered the chicken bacon risotto from the specials menu through the same online menu. 45 mins still hadn't received the risotto. When I asked staff about how long it was gonna be, we were then told that due to a mishap with the printer that we were being given a refund but was not receiving our dinner. When we asked why we were not receiving our meal was then told that she would ask the manager if she could get the kitchen to cook it for takeaway. If we wanted take away we would not of booked a table. Very poor service. We eat here quite often and this was the worst service ever.

New tangy mild chicken wings on the menu are absolutely delicious and highly recommended.
Finished them in just 2 mins, haha!

My family surprised me with a buffet breakfast for Mothers Day at the Springfield Tavern this morning and it was wonderful. Plenty of food, great service and well set out. Well done to the staff who did a great job on a busy day!

I had my baby shower at Springfield Tavern. The service was amazing, food was amazing and the staff set up the area amazing! Highly recommended!

Hired out the function room for a 40th birthday. The male manager that was on (I don't recall his name but he had a beard 😂) was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was great, everyone had a great time. We've eaten here on multiple occasions and we will always come back. 10/10 would recommend.

Had lunch at the Tavern for my sons birthday and it was fantastic! The chefs catered for my specific meal requests and the kids all loved their burgers and nachos!
The tattood lady was very polite as well as the rest of the staff..
Will definitely be back!

Had an early dinner booking and the bistro was empty on arrival and we were thinking this isn't a good sign.
Service at the door is not polished by any means but after that it was all thumbs up.
Ordered food at the counter and that was easy enough and the guy taking the order had a great attitude and was very helpful.
Food was excellent, steaks tender, salads good, chips fresh and crisp, parmi and schnitzel were good to perfection.
Food was out quickly, good quality, flavourful and great sizes so couldn't ask for more.

Good prices, quality food & service. Coffee & cake deal was good value, although the coffee wasn’t very nice. The caramel chocolate dessert was really good.

Decided to visit the tavern today for lunch. Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. I got the ribs which had shards of bone through it and a lot of fat. I got over having to pull bone shards out of my mouth every 2nd bite so just at the chips instead. My friends chicken schnitzel was dry and seemed over cooked. My 2yr old had the kids nuggets & chips which had maybe 10 chips on the plate. The nuggets didn't taste very nice either and I had to eventually ask if I could please have the drink that came with the kids meal, as no one had given it to us.
Overall it was really disappointing.

Decent - always screaming children tho so you can’t even enjoy sitting outside. There was also an extremely rude waiter. She was a skinny white lady, very rude and made me not want to come back.

Celebrate my mother birthday here 26/06 100% recommended lovely staff serving and behind counter, delicious food there creamy mushroom sauce is to die for. i wish i got you guys' names, ladies, but im sure you know who you are. The biggest thank you with everything she didn't even see that cake coming, lol. well done, my mother, love her surprise and love her whole night even gave us free commentary drink with playing pokies which she really loved. Had a great night. Will be back

Came in with the family over the weekend and had amazing service from the staff, can’t remember the servers name but she was a young pregnant lady! Will definitely be back :)

Another great night. The food was amazing and well priced. The kids menu had a variety of options and was a good size meal. The wait for the order was reasonable, even on the quick side (we were there early). Staff were friendly and polite. Definitely the "go to" place when catching up with family/friends.
