About St Kilda Hotel
Informal pub with simple rooms, plus a lounge, a shared kitchenette & a terrace. This down-to-earth brick pub with rooms is a 6-minute walk from St Peter's Cathedral and 10 km from the Saumarez Homestead museum. Straightforward rooms feature shared bathrooms. There's no air-conditioning. Parking is free. There's an unpretentious pub featuring regular live music and a bottle shop. Other amenities include a shared kitchenette, a lounge area and a terrace.

With past experience it used to be awesome place - now, just a reminder to customer, check your ordered items to ensure if some items are missing as it happens frequently with Kilda ! Ignore if you don’t value your money !!! Upon complain- reception pass the ball saying talk to manager - its funny, what do poor manager do in the case while opportunity lying there to recover by staff whoever picking up the call ! So shame!

While in Armidale stopped in to The St Kilda to have a counter lunch as always the food was beautiful and service was fantastic.

What a wonderful pub, the food has been outstanding and such amazing value. Staff so friendly and helpful. After a long day at the hospital, the wine was also very welcome.

We have been stranded in Armidale for a week and we ate here 5 nights out of 7. The food is delicious and at unbelievably good value. If you want a great pub meal they don't come any better than this!

The St Kilda Hotel is a pub that provides very affordable budget rooms. They are very basic but the bed I had was adequate and had crisp, clean sheets.
There's plenty of hot water in the shared showers, and large, white towel are provided.
There's a tiny shared kitchen but it has all the basic needs.
There is parking at the back of the pub where security cameras are present.
The pub has excellent meals and there are S15 specials from which to choose.
Finally, the staff were great. Very friendly and helpful.
For a short stay it suited my needs perfectly.

The meals are brilliant, the steak is always cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly and go the extra mile for the customer.

Stopped in for lunch. Large selection of well priced lunch specials. Good pub food in hearty servings. Very friendly service. Interior is old school reminiscent of a British pub: warm fireplaces, heavy wood tables, pressed metal ceilings. Looking forward to our next visit when in Armidale again.

Stopped in for dinner with the kids after a long day. Staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Dinner was quick and delicious, not to mention well priced.
Did I mention how lovely all the staff were? Every staff member greeted us warmly. Will definitely eat here every night for the rest of our stay

St Kilda Hotel was a great place for a lunch catchup with friends. The staff were excellent and the food was great. Unfortunately, there wasn't much for vegetarians, but I believe that they're going to add some great vegetarian options to their menu. I would highly recommend them for a place to stop and catchup with others, the location is also good.

Seriously worst pub in armidale. Lazy staff that don't listen to your order. Constantly getting my orders wrong. Takes 5 to 10 mins to get a beer when there is no one else waiting at the bar because the staff are to busy talking to each other. I used to be a regular, 3 to 5 times a week, still don't know my beer. Honestly if I could rate lower than 1 star I would.

Really friendly staff and a homely-feel. Large meal portions for a low price (a side of chips, mash, veggies or salad is included - or all 4 if you want!!). We had the parmy and rump steak, which were both great. Drinks also reasonably priced.

Quick friendly service. Great value with a large pup grub variety. The food was good. The chips were amazing with that crunch on the outside and fluffy yummy on the inside. Good place to meet for lunch. Double thumbs up.

Pub grub at its best... went with a group of 20 and nothing but praise for all food. Service was very good. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Love that they support the local footy.
But disappointed that they're website says that the kitchen is open until 9;30, but turned up at 8:30 and told that the kitchen was closed
Plus the prices on the board were more than that publicised.

Look after people they want and treat other people bad. Charge $10 for a beer and know other people only get charge $7 for a beer.

I eat here every week. This week would have to be the worst meal I have every been served in my 39 years. The servers response to this was to go and scrape it into the bin and walk away. Absolutely disgusting. $40 for dinner on a stone cold Absolutely foul meal and couldn't even say something to the people cooking that were standing 3 feet away. Good thing there is another pub 100 meters up the street. We will take our business there in the future.

Had dinner here on Australia Day, it was a decent pub feed - quality food and cold beer and whilst the service was typical country style, friendly but somewhat lacking.

Had a terrible experience at the place this evening. I’m not one to write negative reviews, but I cannot ignore what happened today. Long story short, I ordered roast beef, my food came 20mins late, and instead of roast beef I was served pork. Told the lady that we do not eat pork and I had ordered beef. Unless you have been living under a rock, you should know there are people of certain faiths and backgrounds who do not eat pork. She seemed apathetic and said I should talk to the manager. Firstly, my food arrives late, then it is the wrong food, thirdly the level of rudeness and disrespect was inexplicable. Not only was the service appalling, but the lack of respect and cultural apathy of the staff was on another level. The manager/owner offered me a refund which I did not accept. There needs to be more done than offering a refund. How about respect towards patrons of various backgrounds? Cultural sensitivity training for the staff perhaps. Never setting foot at this joint again.

Get yourselves a Scotch Fillet steak for dinner. You're welcome! But seriously, top quality delicious food, beautiful staff, easygoing vibe. Highly recommended.

Cheap, large and tasty meals. Great bang for your buck! And service is always fast.
Used the bathroom there for the first time in years, though, and not a single door locks. So go in pairs or at home first.

After a cold autumn evening I was lucky enough to secure a $40 room for the afternoon and night. I don’t think I have ever had a hot 🔥 great pressured shower as this one- Awesome 👏
