Yuk! Best I could say is it seemed fairly clean. Staff were rude!

We had a great afternoon enjoying a few drinks in the upstairs lounge area overlooking Acland St. It feels freshly renovated with plenty of comfortable lounge seating, interesting historical photos and even a pool table

Very nice place,very friendly people,good music.I enjoyed it.Good location near Luna Park.Good public transport.

Today I had a horrible experience in this place when I was enjoying playing pool with my friends and drinking a glass of water, The Manager asked me to leave the place by 'after I refused to take my Hut off, Me and my friends explained him that i have a disability, Level 2 Autism, ADHD and Hyperacusis, that means I can get affected by normal noises and my ears and head needs to be always protected. He was so rude and did not show any empathy for my disability so I had no more options than leaving the place and going back home crying in my car after such a discriminating experience. THANKS IAN TANNER FOR BEING NEURODIVERGENT FRIENDLY!you ruined my day!  My real thanks to the bartender who was far more considerate and emphatic than You!!!

This venue was perfect for our needs 18/03/23. We were a group of 14 and offered a function room upstairs on one of the hottest and busiest nights in St Kilda. We ordered in food and were made so welcome by very friendly staff. We were completely comfortable and relaxed after a trying, emotional event. We stayed for about 4 hours and would not hesitate to return. 100%.

This is a really terrific venue! Upstairs has real old-school charm.

The wonderful Memo Music Hall is located at the back of this RSL It's a hidden gem, and the reason to go to St Kilda.

There's shows on at the side enteremce and pokies at the front pool games area upstairs Friday night is raffle night..

The only problem is there is no kitchen so you can't get food

The disrespect to our Anzacs in full swing in this place, people wearing hats inside the venue, drunk people everywhere hanging around the bar. After being grabbed by another person inside the venue and reporting it to the security guard I was told "oh his just a drunk regular". Absolutely disgusting.

St Kilda RSL Club, right in the heart of bustling Ackland Street, has a very welcoming atmosphere with friendly and obliging staff. Highly recommend if either an RSL or non member!

Memo hall is a blast from the small town past right in the middle of St Kilda. Excellent sounds. Great vibe.

Just because. An escape from the madness of St Kilda. Welcoming, old school, quiet, reflective. Cheap and cheerful grog. Great little balcony.

I’m so happy with this job

I had been a member of this RSL for a few years, visiting very infrequently. Today I topped up the membership again, because it had expired, it cost me $25. This was actually about one third of the money I had remaining, because life has been very difficult on me lately, and after being tortured in the Psychiatric Ward starting 2012 following a false accusation that got me in there, without a good enough reason, a man from CATT actually forbade me from seeking employment (while doing their employment, this is called 'HYPOCRISY') - so I listened, and because I trusted the system, now I have very little money (I am not allowed to get employment, so I rely on Disability Support Pension - not enough to raise a family with! The soldiers of RSL did not die for the citizens of the society they protected to be mistreated in such ways!). Anyway, the reason I purchased the membership to this RSL was always to be legally permitted to play the good piano upstairs, so to share my heart with others, and with my Lord (because He hears), as a trained pianist and contemporary classical music composer. Today, after asking permission as usual, I portrayed some of my music in the empty room. Then as I was near to finishing the portrayal, a bearded man came from the other room, and stood silently in front of the piano. After I finished, he said that he and his friends from the room some distance away, dislike my music and wish for me to not play my contemporary classical music compositions anymore. I spoke with him for a moment, and he kept defending his point - that my music was worthless and unwanted. I felt worthless. It actually ruined my day, and so I requested a refund for the membership I had purchased today, and am never going back to this unwelcoming place again. Thank you. Here are images of proof of my work, at least the bird in the park (the dedicatee of one of these attached works) seemed not to hate my music, or to hurt me for trying to express my most subtle and sincere feelings through the piano I paid to use.

Great venue, great staff and very well priced drinks. I love the new renovation.

Great place friendly atmosphere

Got me beat. Been here twice and service has been unbelievably bad. Imagine spending all that cash on Reno's when maybe all that was needed to get patrons to stay was just moderate service.

Good local RSL for the St.k locals & visitors. Staff are Always friendly & helpful. Air con is bonus in the Summer Heat. Facilities are clean & well maintained. The 2nd floor Upstairs area is a Gem! A Beautiful area w ArtDeco architecture. There's also the Members Area & it Only costs $20 a year to become a Member, w drinks for Members discounted also. Great Memorabilia 2 look at also about the Men&Women who have fought for the Freedoms we in Australia all Now get to enjoy, due to these Courageous souls. 🐞

Good little watering hole, prices are reasonable and there is an outside smoking area ( upstairs) on a little veranda. It has pokies if your that way inclined, good security to stop the unwashed from entering. Tram stop close by.

Good for a quiet drink in the fish bowl.see the world go by.

UNFORTUNATELY MY MEMBERSHIP DOESNT ALWAYS GET ME ACCESS TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL QUITE PRIVATE BALCONY ON ALCAND ST THATS OPENS ONTO SOME OF THE MOST INTERESTING VIEWS I*VE SEEN WITH BEACH VIEWS WHILST LAPPING UP PASSING SMILES FROM QUITE A FEW LOCAL (OLD-SCHOOLSTYLES)that with all respect due. Enjoyed playing with City of Melbourne Highland Pipe Band for the Anzac commemorations. The RSL clearly has a wonderful rapport with the locals.

Central place for a beer.
