You would only expect to find food and top notch service like this in much more expensive venues, yet this place demonstrated just that. Exceptional food and service without the price tag associated with it.
This place is stunning and I am so pleased I have found it. The food is exceptionally good and the staff equally the same. This was a family outing. The atmosphere this place has is very warm and inviting. The calamari and Cape Grim steaks were perfectly cooked to medium-rare. The kids meals came out very quickly (far quicker than what I had thought it would) and even their meals were exceptionally good. I usually taste the kids food to see how it is and am disappointed usually however, they were excellent at the Tavern. Kids had the hamburgers from the kids menu, and they were of excellent quality. The red wine jus was exceptionally good and so too were the salads that came with it. I really look forward to another visit to the Lord of the Isles Tavern - It's a two hour drive to get there for us but REALLY worth it. There are plenty of places close by to stay the night which is what we did on the Saturday. I've walked away with fabulous memories of a really good night out. Top job to everyone there who was working on Saturday night (after the football crowd had left for the game) that made our visit there so enjoyable. Definitely the best tavern I have ever been to.

We used the function area and it was really nice. We easy fit our group 50+ people on tables seated no worries. The staff took good care of us. The drinks helped as they were fresh and cool. They served us delicious food. It was awesome to not have to worry about doing the dishes or clean up after the meal. The staff did awesome staffing and the cooks did awesome cooking. The venue helped to occasion we were celebrating to run smoothly and let us enjoy the company if each other without having to sweat the small stuff... Or the big stuff 😉

Went to the Lords about 3 weeks ago. Had the best Nasigoreng I have ever had. Took friends there tonight and we all ordered the Nasi. OMG. Very impressed again & my friends raves about it. My wife had the salt & pepper calamari. The best she has ever had. The staff are amazing. Had a good sense of humour, loved a chat & made us feel as if we had know them for a long time.
Would highly recommend going to the Lords, enjoy the food, have a chat with the staff & enjoy the atmosphere the Lords provides. Oh, the prices are pretty good as well.
Our new location to go out for tea.
Great service, friendly staff, coupled with delicious food & a nice atmosphere.

Went here for seniors lunch. The two course meal was fantastic, very enjoyable and great value for the money.

Went here for Mother's Day meal with the family. Was great feed and decently priced. Has been recently freshened up and we were seated near the fireplace.
Just to note, our reservation was forgotten but were quickly arranged for a table the day before. We appreciated the response to your mistake and the meals on the day were of great quality.

We attended in a large group for lunch on Father's Day. The seating was impressive, being very spaced out in a back room for larger tables, so we were well away from others. The meals were excellent, large in quantity & served simultaneously, even though we ordered them at the counter at separate times. The menu is extensive & has great variety at very reasonable prices. This pub used to be renowned for being on the expensive side but since the rebrand including the name change, is certainly very affordable. The service was very professional. Look forward to returning.

Very happy with the brisket, tender and favour of smoke baroque sauce just right, will definitely be ordering it again.
My husband and son, had nasi goreng, they were not impressed they would rate it 5 out of 10. The best nasi goreng in Geelong is at The Valley.

Took a girlfriend for a celebratory lunch. The staff could not have done more. The door was held open when we arrived. Food was clean, healthy, yummy and I couldn't eat it all. Very generous serves. Dessert and coffee was brought to the table to save us getting up to order. Well done all.

This place has been consistently a winner in my books. Fantastic service. Excellent food. Always confident with knowing this is a great place for lunch and now dinner. Reasonably priced. Nice layout. Happy to come back. Well done!!

Staff were the highlight of dinner, but the food was amazing as well!
Not a dusty old pub with average food, clean, modern and yummy elevated food.
Pork belly was yum and red wine sauce is great. Steak was cooked to perfection, parmi was giant, burger was good but would have liked a different sauce rather than just Mayo but that's really picky haha! Starters were great too haloumi chips were great.

Seniors lunch menu is fabulous so thing for everyone, value for money even a choice of grilled fish and chips.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Two course for $24 is value.

Pleasant atmosphere and great service. Salmon and duck salads were very tasty. Great choice on drinks, including several craft brews on tap.

Perfect. Best pub meal had for ages. Will be back with family for sure. I had the carbinara, beautifully cooked and tasted awesome.

I had a chicken parmi and my dad had Nasi goreng. The meals were delicious and HUGE. No need for desert. Good prices for what you get. The have done some renovations and it looks great. My only issue was with the baby change table in the disabled toilet. I have no issues with one being in there but it took up heaps of room and it's a small space as it is. Perhaps a change table attached to the wall which can be put up and out of the way would be better. And yes I could have asked someone to move it but I should be able to easily access the toilet without having to chase someone up to move it.

Great staff, nice venue with great acoustics (can talk without yelling and no echos). Clean, comfortable and great food. Well worth giving it a try if you want a good feed, a chat and some cold drinks. We'll be back.

Great food, great atmosphere, great night out. Still great!!. And it's still great food and service, keep up the excellent work and service guys 👦 👍. Today we tried the seniors menu and it was a surprise we had a three course meal for $27.00 each which was excellent. Still great food and service and the price's are not too bad.

Friendly and welcoming although was a little disappointed with the food. Overpriced for the quality. The brisket meal seemed rushed and warm like it had been placed in a microwave. The sauce with the brisket was extremely overpowering and steak just a little too rare.. ended up with running to the 🚽 to say it nicely.
Also no sauce was given with the chips. Salad probably needs a little extra dressing. Kids meal was totally fine with sauce for the chips.
Not a pleasant experience for us adults although my child loved his meal. Nice atmosphere and staff approachable.
Not sure if we would go back.

Food nice, mid - priced. Slightly smaller serves on average but good quality, chicken parmigiana a large serve. Majority of staff lovely and friendly.

Fake news of a venue. Gives out drink cards for “post game drinks”. Game finishes at 10.27pm, ask for beers at 10.32pm and met with hostility by a bar manager.
Was a great venue before the game when this woman didn’t exist.
Shame because the other bartenders are great.
Fake marketing needs to be called out.

Anything on the menu looked amazing, personally got the beef brisket and calamari, both 10/10 dishes, closest pub to the ground and the pub itself is modern, warm and immaculate inside. Anytime we come down to watch a cats game again we will be coming here.

A comfortable dining experience in the Resturant area, it has a relaxed atmosphere and casual vibe. Stylish renovations and delicious food. Received a lovely welcome as we entered, and when delivered food and drinks. I am not a fan of the QR Code ordering system or ordering up at the counter, I do prefer table service especially when paying a standard to high price for food and wine. Overall a pleasant experience.
