Wow. We only stopped here cause one of the midgets need to weeeeee (after a long drive). We ended up staying for lunch, cause the other midgets were hungry. The food was awesome and so were the staff. The staff went up and beyond to look after us and the kids (I think Tracey and another waitress). Really could not fault anything. Very reasonably priced. Will tell all our friends and come back again 🍻

They let me make a booking and when I and my guests turn up we are told the Bistro is closed! Apparently they will get a Chef sometime soon.

The meals are pretty decent. Typical pub fair. Staff are polite and helpful. Our waitress Penny was excellent couldn't do enough to help us. Only thing's that detracted from our time there were some of the patrons and the toilets were a bit ordinary. Overall I would go back for a quick lunch.

The meal I chose was expensive yet basic. Garlic prawns. The tails were still attached for some reason and the prawns were overcooked to the point I had to saw through them with a steak knife to remove them. Prawns should be tender, not chewy. The salad was quite dry. Had no dressing at all. Granted this is a first impression I was not impressed. The staff were nice. But the prices were stiff. The meal was very sub par. Even one of the potatoes was too tough to eat. The time from ordering to getting the meal was long and indicated it was overcooked. Reluctant to try again given the other options to try in the area.

The food was amazing, I got a steak and was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing!

Thank you to the team at the Stockade Tavern for allowing us to hold our Pops wake at the Tavern. Amazing service from all the staff and nothing seemed too much for them. Thank you so very much.

Stockade Tavern is a great place for a relaxing drinks, alone or with friends. The always beautiful Rosh always gives the best service with a smile and great attitude! One of my favorite places to be on a day off :)

Not happy that the Bar Tenders didn't let me borrow a phone after my mobile phone battery went flat and the nearby Public Phones were broken. I needed to call my wife to come and pick me up and while I was to be waiting, I would have bought a pint of beer to drink. Instead, I walked out without buying a beer. I had to walk a bit of a way to the shopping area to find another Public Phone, luckily this phone was working. This occured at about 11pm on Monday night, 18-12-2023.

Me and my Sisters met at the stockade to celebrate my Sister's birthday. We were having a good night and then informed they would not serve us anymore drinks. We are Aboriginal women. Even the regulars came up to us as they could not believe we were informed they would not serve us anymore drinks.They saw we were having a good time and agreed we were being treated unfairly. So happy NAIDOC week! Racism is still alive at the Stockade. We will be making a complaint to the equal opportunity Commission. Thanks to the regulars for their support, we appreciate it.

Love this place penny is the best worker at this place. We stopped coming because the other ladies don't listen when you order stuff it up and blame the customer saying that's what we ordered. Also can't cook a steak to medium rare always well done how hard is it...

I was recommended to give this place a try by word of mouth from some friends in the area.
Can say with great confidence that I was not disappointed; Awesome atmosphere, amazing service, and fair pricing - the time from ordering to eating was absolutely fantastic and the quality of the food was on point.
One of the staff, Jess I think was her name, stood out in particular. Full of smiles & super friendly. If I could only choose one reason to recommend Stockade to my friends and family, it's staff members like her. Simply top notch!

I stopped at this hotel for lunch today. The meal was brilliant and the beer was cold. I enjoyed my stop. The staff was professional, friendly and dealt with my order promptly. Well done.

I haven't been to this place for years. It is a very open and inviting place. Pretty busy for a Monday lunch. The staff were all happy and helpful. I had a Burger and Beer for $7. Yes only $7. It was a good size portion for lunch not to big not to small. Also beers are only $5. I assume the make alot off pokies because that was packed. A little sad but we all have our own choices.
All in all a great little place.

First thing first I come every day to play pokies so they know that's what I'm there for, so I order a coke which is free if you're playing but I was waiting for the machine I play to be unoccupied so they said they will charge me for it because I wasn't playing yet so I turned it back.
Then when the lady left the machine she reserved it which is a maximum of 3mins so I waited for 6 then asked the staff if I could remove the sign without being in trouble only to be told we will time it from now the managers words but clearly you guys can't even follow your own rules or manage your staff.
