Wow….what a surprise… been here many times, the meals were usually ok n so was the menu. But this was just 5 Star in comparison. Delicious generous potion and very reasonably priced. We learned they had a new chef. Congratulations, we shall definitely be coming back

We started coming here for coffee as it is one of the few coffee shops open in our area over the Christmas break (including Christmas day). We are now coming here regularly as the coffee and service is that good. Pretty sure it will become a regular for our family now.

Went with some friends for a mid week drink and dinner. Was open mic night which was an interesting mix. Food was okay although took a while to be served. Atmosphere pretty much like any other hotel in all honesty.

Went there (again) for dinner on 21/1/24. Had to wait seven (yes, 7) hours for a wheelchair accessible taxi. I cannot praise too highly the young lass behind the bar in the pokies lounge and the big Pakistani security guard there both of whom looked after me so well as I waited.

Was very impressed with this place for the first 15 mins till I then a staff member sit at the table next to me with his take away container and proceed to eat. I would not have been concerned if I hadn’t just paid $130 for two meals and two drinks.
In a place that was not full surely there was a more discreet place a staff member after high fiveing all the other staff could have chosen to sit no eat his meal whilst having his head phones in and listening to music we could clearly hear.
Disappointed after being impressed on the first impression.

Visited a couple of months ago on a weekday with international visitors. Between the 3 of us we had a steak sandwich, cheeseburger and slow cooked graziers pie. All of us agreed that the food was delicious and the atmosphere, for an inner city pub on a main road, was super chilled. If we weren't short on time, we most definitely would have visited again.

Very good pizza, amazing taste, steak was good too, beer very cold, and good service. amazing place, just hard to find parking

Unfortunately service was terrible today. It was disappointing as it has definitely been good before! Several staff "busy" doing things but not attending to customers. I waited 15 minutes for a drink that I ordered through the app and so just went up and get it. The piece of paper had printed out for it, just no one had looked at it. It's not very busy tonight either. Food was ok for the price and the atmosphere is nice. They just need to get the staff to focus on customer service.

The Stones Corner Hotel is located on the main road & at the beginning of the street down the middle of Stones Corner.
The location is great & there is plenty of tables & seating inside (air conditioned) OR outside, if you prefer.
All the staff are happy, friendly, welcoming & helpful.
They serve alcoholic beverages,
non-alcoholic beverages, coffees, snacks & meals.
The menu is varied & they can cater for people who are Vegetarian, gluten-intolerant, lactose-intolerant etc.
There are tv screens around the inside walls showing different sporting events eg cricket, rugby league, tennis, basketball etc.
The toilets are located inside the venue & they are clean & well maintained.
This is a great place to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, share plate or just a hot/cold beverage.

The place itself was nice but one security guy was harassing my friend and I the whole time, because one of us was transgender (me). He even went as far as entering the female toilets to harass her about me and even called me a “tranny” to her face. Won’t ever be going back there as it is not Trans-friendly.

The food was fine but overpriced, the service was reasonable but the decor and atmosphere was ordinary. The outdoor tables under the tree hadn't been cleaned and water spilled indoors on the floor went unmopped, resulting in a potential slip hazard.

The food here was good. I had the double cheeseburger, it was very tasty. I thought it was as good as some of the burger places closer to the cbd. Prices are also about the same. The chocolate brownie was gooey and delicious. Decent range of drinks. Laid back atmosphere, service was pleasant and efficient and good opening hours. If you're in the area and need somewhere to eat this is a solid option.

Stones Corner Hotel has two locations, one is a restaurant, the other is a pub where you can also watch football games etc.
Went to both parts.
The pub part has great pints, great affordable prices, friendly staff.
Easygoing atmosphere. I felt very comfortable there.
The restaurant part is also nice with fancier food and drinks. Went on a date night there with my husband the other day and we had a nice evening.
We had fries for starters and my husband had the steak sandwich afterwards, I had the marinated Wagyu beef skewers and they were amazing! Perfectly medium rare and thinly sliced with a yummy salad on top, beautifully arranged.
The steak sandwich came with extra fries thus we wouldn't have had to order them as starters but it was okay. Both of us were very full afterwards and we weren't able to finish all of the extra fries 🤣
Also the starter fries came with normal aioli. We asked if it was dairy free since I'm lactose intolerant but the waitress brought a vegan aioli and when we finished our mains and still had fries left she asked if we want another bowl of vegan aioli for free which was great!
The Aperol Spritz I ordered wasn't as I'm used to it in Europe (not the bright orange colour you usually expect and it was quite watered down) but had a Sauvignon Blanc afterwards and it was the perfect temperature and delicious.
Also I love the outside area with the illuminated tree. Creates a beautiful and romantic atmosphere - I can't wait to go back when it's warmer again.
Restaurant closes at 10.30pm.

Stones Corner Hotel could be so much more. Dress up the tree with fairy lights maybe Brisbane city council could do this .
Caught up with girlfriend for quick lunch after work , the calamari was disappointing, could not finish it as could taste the flour.
Wish we could get rid of these apps to order food / drinks. Bring back table service. Great location. Love to see this pub shine ✨
Iconic Brisvegas watering hole love the black and white photos of the area on the walls . Will go back again as I believe it’s important to support your local .

Previously I rated this place a five. After 20 odd years of going each week or so the last two visits have been expensive and very dissapointing. In fact, last night I went to another pub with my wife to compare a simple steak sandwich and a salad. The comparison proved the service, food and price were outragesly poor. Our second last visit I made a complaint as an order for 4 was bought out for two and then nothing. When asked about the other two meals was told they were busy and the next two would be another twenty minutes. No sorry just indignant. Last visit the steak sandwich was fatty, gristle and soggy. After years of patronage we wont be back at least for a while and I would encourage others to do the same. I have only ever posted a couple of negative comments as I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt. Sorry for the poor review it makes me sad to do so.

Pretty good food and drinks. I was expecting average but was surprised with above average. I had the classic burger and my gf had the parmigiana. Both plates were delicious and the serving size was bigger then average as well, nothing crazy but definitely worth mentioning.
Everything was clean, 3 pm on a rainy Tuesday so it’s to be expected.
The lychee caprioska was delicious!
Only time I saw the staff was when he brought my food, so plus one point for leaving me alone 😂
Music and ambience was relaxed and definitely added to the experience.

Need new security, I brought a glass into smoking area which is not allowed, security immediately says I've been told before not to do that in an aggressive manner , ive never been told that before he straight up lied an exploded into a fit when I spoke ,diplomacy skills are nill from this guy, alls he had to say is you have to leave your glass outside and I would have complied, I really do think this individual should seek other employment, this role does not suit him , I wont be going to this joint EVER.

Love this place, great location easy access fantastic atmosphere tasty menu both in the bar and the restaurant. Really good pub atmosphere as to be expected for brisbane. For coffee lovers this is a great location as the Caffè for a coffee or associated goods to start your day are available from 6am. Majority of staff are fantastic and would easily go out of their way to help. Never had a problem here and i consider it my local.

I use to love going to stones corner hotel with my family and friends. That was til they employed a very rudely spoken security guard who believes he can speak and treat people however he likes.
I will still recommend the establishment for amazing food and beautiful barstaff but the atmosphere is a minus 5star due to this, I believe this homophobic, womanising Greek or Italian ( not sure, but you'll know who when you see him) security guard needs to go.
My family, friends, colleagues and I will not return to this establishment til they clean their act up and employ someone who's not discriminative toward patrons.

Had the friendliest bartender who was very knowledgeable about everything we needed. I wish I had of gotten his name to give him props. Well done anyways Stones corner hotel, will definitely be back.

Had a nice pub lunch. Drink specials $10.50. Nice chill spot and when turning to night, very pretty with the fairy lights in the big tree out the front. Pub feeds are always superior.

Great 👍 breakfast spot. Easy ordering from thr table (QR code menu). Coffees were good but what was amazing is the meals. Very generous and tasty. Yum. Will be back. I have lunched here before and and afternnon drinks. But breakfast. Somewhere to remember for the future. Open from early and 7 days

Good food and staff were really friendly :) Still good service and very kind. Caitlin was very pleasant even when we took ages to choose what we wanted. Great place for casual lunch.

I do like this place, I just wish they would enforce the no smoking around the entrances to the building as last time we sat behind the bar /in front of kitchen (because they were doing works in the main area) the stench of the disgusting smokers outside wafted in and ruined our breakfast.
Bit of an update, August 2022. Came back again after seeing a "new menu" sign out the front and seeing they were changing the kitchen. Looking at the menu it seems as though it's basically the same but they took away the salmon and added some duck meal and a pulled pork pizza, both of which were unavailable. We ordered our food and I'm pretty disappointed to say it was probably the most average food I've had to date. It was all barely warm, hot inside, cold on the outside, quite obviously microwaved, we even heard the beeps from the kitchen. It was a Monday lunch at 1pm, not sure how the food all went cold so fast before it even got to us considering it wasn't even busy.
November 2020 review. No longer does breakfast. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. Turned up one day for a quick bite to find they no longer did it at all.

Food was disgusting.. rump was under cooked and smelt funky.. beer batter fish was over battered that it was soggy.. felt unwell after lunch.. pigeons on tables inside eating off playes left on tables while waitress walked passed it a few times and still left there.. table were dirty.. was a shame as people said it was a good place for food.. never again

Best rump lunch I've ever had! Most rumps I've had can be a bit chewy, but the one I had last Thursday was so tender and beautifully cooked and the salad was very fresh, no week old cherry tomatos like I've had elsewhere. Compliments to the chef, excellent job! Very reasonable for $24.

Always a fun place to go. Staff are friendly and helpful. Often great at recommending a drink. Food is amazing and I like that the pokies are hidden in a backroom.
