would have loved to go in and try it out
however the security guard would not let my friend in with his drivers licenses which he had on his phone. very disappointing he refused entry as everywhere we have gone have let him in, especially the casino and a concert.
honestly ridiculous and he was just smoking around the side not the at the door.
not very welcoming at all.

What a grim place this is. 730pm on a Saturday, 4 patrons. Bar staff that whisper. Waited 35 minutes for salt and pepper squid. What’s old mate doing? Growing the potatoes? 4 patrons. Four. Playing in the background of this enthralling setting is a playlist of songs from Instagram reels. I departed without eating, because it was so grim. I gave you money for free, because this establishment is so grim. I didn’t even tell you I was leaving because grim. I hope you read this. I created a google account just to log in and leave you this message. If you read this and you don’t own the place… show the owner. Say “Look! Look at how grim this is!” Get them to understand. This place is like the child I never knew and when I meet them after 40 years they turn out to be a really depressed accountant that listens to Instagram reel playlists.
If I’m blind drunk and someone suggests it, I might be back for a cold one x

Welcome respite at the end of a stroll down Oxford Street. Caesar salad had some unwashed lettuce making it a bit gritty so keep an eye on that. Friendly staff and thankfully not brightly lit ... cosy

This is good place for casual drinks.
4 to 6pm is the happy hour.
I love the pizza at $9.90

Stopped in for lunch at the pub- the bartenders were really nice. Food is good (nothing special) but nice enough.

Chicken salt on the chips!!!
Coopers or balter for $10.
Looks like some great value meals available.
It's not a place to take your girlfriend.

Security and staff very rude. Discriminated our group due to our ethnicity, made us feel very unwelcome and ended up kicking us out for no reason. Would not recommend, highly racist without reason and poor service.

Recently, I stayed in Sydney for work and found this hotel. The food was delicious and served promptly and piping hot! The bar staff were extremely attentive and friendly. One young man made our time there special with his friendly banter, humour and service. It can get a little noisy but it's a pub after all and the weather of late made this place the perfect refuge.

Nice place for a drop in meal.
Food well done and presented, decent salad and dressing with meal.
Friendly, helpful staff lady.
Reccomend it.

Nice aussie pub. Went in slightly late (after 11).. because of which there was hardly any crowd. Also the rule was that they would serve drinks only in plastic glasses, post 10.30pm. So drinking beer in plastic glasses wasn’t that exciting

If you are sick of the asian cruise then definitely try it here :) . I would say the quality that I received is worth the price.

Had a great night there with a work group recent. Well looked after by the nice staff. Easy to organise. Food went down well with the team. Fabulous room. A big tick in the box from me.

Great food, the popcorn shrimp was delicious! Great beer, super friendly stuff and amazing music. This is a place you got to and have fun!

Good bar to have a quick drink or grab a snack. The sport screens get intrusive after a while, unless they’re your reason for being there.
The food was hot and filling, although if you want a good meal, there are other places.
Some staff were amazingly helpful and chatty, others were downright grumpy.

Few changes since Triple Ace Hotel. Indoor smoking are, 2 pools tables. Tiger beer jugs $14, Carlton Draught jug $21.
Upstairs Suey Sins Asian Fusion food. Was closed on Sunday.

Delicious Thai food in a pub setting. Good range of standard pub beers, lots of sport screens around if you're into that sort of thing.

Ambiance is basic, but the food is pretty good! Enjoyed my dinner here - had the chicken parm with mash and veg.
