Went there for a few Sunday arvo beers.
Nothing negative, the locals were super friendly, every one of them in the bar stopped and chatted to us which was really cool.
Barmaid was super friendly and my most cherised benchmark was met - icy cold beer.
It's an old pub, probably needs a freshen up in decor, toilets were old but clean enough.
Was nice to have a quiet beer out on the verandah and hear each other talk without loud music and just watch the world go by.
Dont expect scenic views - it sells cold beer with a friendly smile. Excellent.

Was a hot afternoon, dropped in for a cold beer. The bar service was friendly and efficient. The place was cool, beer cold, peaceful and friendly. Hit the spot! Thank you!

Was a great experience. Jazz night on a Saturday and the bartender AMY is the best bartender ever. She was super hospitable and just brought immaculate vibes to the entire venue. Highly recommend

The Swan Basement is my favourite licensed venue for a show , hardcore music and booze in a comfy laid back environment . Love the place .

The only good thing about this place is the live music. Otherwise it's just a dingy old man pub, does have a pool table and skimpies if you're into that sort of thing.

The band was good but the venue downstairs is so awkward for moving around in or dancing...why can't the band be out from that small space?

Slow cooker beef ribs were nice, as we're wedges, need to up the quality on the steak, had an off tinge and sour cream had a off tinge.

Rough. Needs to be sold and refurbished. I went there to warch the footy and there was one skimpy serving beers for an odd vibe. Footy on the large projector was good but middy's of Carlton for $5.20 is a bit off.

PUNX FOR WEST PAPUA WA was filmed here and we raised over 15k Australia wide and the DVD Anthony Ash Brennan made about the atrocities happening over there was amazing. So privileged to be a part of this amazing event and play with my band along side some of my musical heroes. Definitely see a show there!!

Lovely old pub, next to the beautiful swan river & Fremantle harbour. (You can't see them, but you know they're there!)

literally all staff is so nice and down for a convo. when events are on its a complete vibe and i love the fact its one of the only traditional pubs left around north freo... other than railway hotel. thats pretty sick as as well.

It's a tradie, no fuss after work workers pub up top with a pool table and tv, downstairs used to be a live band place, not sure if it still is, but it used to be good. Kebab shop next door.

Its a touch dodgy, but we all knew that before coming here. Like their cousins the railway down the road, things could be improved, but why bother.

A great local pub that has a pool table, lots of really retro comfy chairs and a really nice old boaty/wood type theme, with a balcony looking over the river and the traffic bridge. It's a tradie hot-spot at afterwork hours. The management and owner are really at the top of their game. Recommended!

A classic old school Aussie pub, and a great vibe in the basement. Just need to have a better selection of tap beers. The days of boring Aussie beers only are long gone now thankfully !
