Worst hotel i have ever visited. My checked in time was 5pm and booked for a night. But w left from the hotel around 10pm on the same day. Whole room, bathroom and common areas were stinky and uncleaned. Really bad experience. I had paid for nothing. Wasted my time, money and my easter trip. Even i deal with zenhotel website. They don't what customer service is. No support from them after get the payments.

Went for a late lunch. Food was good. Very quiet Thursday. Nice dining room.

Visited for lunch on a weekday. The place was quiet. Food was fast and delicious. Kids play area was clean. Staff were friendly.

This pub has the worst staff of any pub ever. |Whilst we were there before we went to dinner, our friends left since there was one barman and a line up at the bar of 10 people. Later our son was told they had run out of schooner glasses so stood patiently wait lug for 15 mins to be told he was cut off for being rude. |I went to the bar to order him a beer, to be told because I was with him, I was also cut off. |This is terrible service from very poor bar staff.

The restaurant is very comfortable with nice soft padded and covered seating. It is at the back of the hotel so not too noisy and it also has a lovely log gas fireplace. The menu has a good variety to choose from. I had the lovely barramundi 'fish and chips" and my husband had a good size quality steak with his favourite pepper sauce. For dessert we had a very yummy baked cheesecake which was a nice surprise as it had a delicious berry toping which wasn't mentioned on the menu and it didn't have that dry tasting texture like most baked cheesecake's have; so it turned out to be one of the yummiest baked cheesecakes we'd ever had! If it's on the menu you'll want to order it!

The pub itself is lovely, well presented, clean & modern. Very inviting for a family lunch, dinner, or a night out with friends. Sadly, the food was incredibly ordinary, overcooked & very dry chicken, salad drowning in dressing, and croutons were so stale they were actually chewy. For a large venue marketed towards families (they have a nice under cover play area), they apparently have only 2 high chairs, so we struggled to feed our baby while sitting on our laps until another family finished eating and could give up the chair they were using. I'll finish by saying the staff were lovely, however, and did what they could to assist.

The pub is really good ! Jump band was a very nice surprise, however if you need a room and you like some rest avoid at any cost as you actually cannot sleep, slammed door allll night, peoples vomiting all night and music till late, i wish i spent more money and actually get a night of sleep.

The place was clean and the staff were nice, but the food was below average. There’s no point going here for food when there is so much better food a short walk away

SJs new menu is phenomenal!! If you are looking for steak options, this is the place to go! The atmosphere is on point with so many different areas. Their function rooms are affordable for your special events and the staff are friendly and fast.
Definitely give this place a try when you are in the area. 10/10

Service here made me feel not welcome, staff didn’t know what time weekly specials started. Pub was super modern yet very quiet compared to the others in the area. Schnitzel was average Dianne sauce tasted like it came out of a packet

Ordered my meals and so did my friends. Meals came out at scattered times. Most were finished before the other meals came out, bit disappointed.

Limited menue if u like mingling with a crowd this isn't the place for you at lunch time.

I stayed here for 2nights excellent customer service from the staff from check in to eating in the restaurant l had chicken Maryland well cooked by chef Joss who takes care with the way he presents his food masterfully cooked l was most impressed see by the photos all the staff take great pride in making sure all customers needs meet thankyou to all l will be back next month for a week

I stayed here for 2nights after reading other reviews was a little concerned about the noise from bar but but upstairs no noise at all the staff all where great and the food from the restaurant superb expertly crafted by a master chef Joss he takes pride in his art of food and that is reflected in tasting the rooms had all the essentials bathrooms down the hall l will stay again most impressed many thanks to all the staff a fun place

If you are a backpacker then this hotel is right for you. By the way, you'd better have $200 cash in your pocket or they will demand to photocopy your credit card! Are you kidding me SJH? The reason, they suspect the people that stay there will, 'trash the room! Apparently it does happen. Also, be prepared for hallway doors that will bang away until late, and start again early. If you are not a backpacker, stay else where!PS. The staff are friendly and helpful!

Haven't been in this part of the state in 30 years, met a friend at the station and dropped in for some drinks n fries.
Beautiful sunny saturday, lunch in a place that has all the things. Clean and friendly, would recommend to anyone.

Handy spot. Room was tidy. Trains nearby so small amount of noise etc. wifi not great. .
Edit: take it back. Noise got worse. Slammed doors all night, one broken shower and one near useless one. Downstairs pub plays music till literally 330am even on a Monday night.
Don’t stay here if you can help it. Guess the price reflects the stay.

Great place to jump off the train and get something to eat. Also good for kids...strangely they charge $2 for ketchup :s can't get my head around that at all!

Great place to be at night. Just playing pool or talking to random people. Everyone is so friendly and amazing. They will make it feel home

Great location, easy parking on site.
Meal was great food, steak was cooked as requested and wait staff friendly.
The young man in the bar needs to learn how to smile and be bit more customer service friendly. Overall, would return.

Gr8 place, rooms and facilities good, who needs the Ritz, Staff, prices gr8, located in perfect area for a non stop day/nighter!!!! Be back soon, keep the beer cold.

For the price of the steak, it would have been good if it was cooked right. We ordered 3 medium and 1 rare. The rare was fine, the rest all cooked well done.

First time here, thought we'd check out trivia night. It was a fun night . Nice fit out.
Friends had chicken schnitzel, which were good. I had squid, not good. Way over fried, no flavour. Expensive dish for few pieces of frozen product sadly.

Dropped in looking forward to a good steak. It was a nice steak. Tasty and good just right. However the watery undercooked vegetables and sauce selected were a let down and were more suited to a meal worth half of what I paid. My dining companion was looking forward to a Guinness but none were available. Staff brilliant and facilities very nice. Would go back with a different meal choice.

Booked a birthday dinner a week out from the date. Rang to confirm numbers on the day & they said no booking!!!!. As it wasn't busy they fitted us in and asked did we want the bistro or beer garden? I said bistro, but when we arrived we were in the beer garden next to the playground and it was LOUD!
And to top it off their tap beer was "tainted"...whoever does their beer lines needs a refresher course asap....I won't be back !
