Well it's a nice place to gamble, the pokies are good, I am not often found in any of the front or sports bars tho.

Was threatened in front of bar management someone threatened to break my 1 good leg the same barman told a friend to leave . This is not a friendly hotel. Will not drink here again. Would rather travel out and go to the Paradise Hotel

Very friendly bar service. Excellent all round. Pokies and cocktails at rear. Awesome.

Usually quiet enough to be pleasant. Not quite the cheapest around but pretty close. Few tourist visitors can be a potential upside if you're looking for relaxation

They serve basic food and have a standard selection of drinks. They do have access to foxtel and are happy to put on sporting events if you ask (such as NBA and NFL finals)

The whole place needs renovations, but it is a convenient place for pre dinner drinks as long as you are fine with a very limited choice of drinks.

Really good customer service and very well priced drinks. Will definitely be going back again and recommend it highly if you want a place to sit and chat over drinks.

Personally my favourite pub to go to, they have wonderful and friendly staff and they're very accomodating! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a froth and a they have great machines for a bit of a gamble :p

One of the few old man pubs left in the city. Cheap drinks, friendly service and wheelchair access from the street.

Nice bar area with tab. Large gaming room with a good selection of machines. Drinks are reasonably priced.

We had tea at Chinese restaurant in China town
Then to Talbot hotel for pokies and races
Got killed early but made a great comeback

Loved the sports bar in the back! Old style pub feel with original vintage bar and spacious booth seating. Paid a very good price for a locally made pint as well.

Just a bloody great pub, fantastic food, awesome staff, best coffee in the universe !. And relaxed fun atmosphere..... I ❤️ this place.

I only go there for the best Tiger beer lager on tap, in the city. The old fashion sports bar next to the porkies room esp the few circle table and seats with back mirrors are so nostalgic for old-timers like me, and my friends too.
They totally enjoy the relatively quiet ambience good for business talk.

If you need alcohol they will serve you. Pretty dingy. Awful toilets.

Good little pub for a quiet drink. Screens up if you want to watch sports. Nothing over the top about this place. Was near empty on a Friday night.

Decent front bar, but the punting section is fantastic. Well set up and ease of movement.

Clean, old style pub in middle of Chinatown. Pokies, TAB, keno, front bar, lounge bar. Pleasant enough and a good central meeting point

07/04/22 Went here for drinks before dinner. I didn't get the girls name behind the bar but she was very friendly and accommodating while managing the bar on her own. Would go again thank you:)
