Usually here for the poker tournaments. I was surprised at how well the steak was made, juicy, perfectly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Great value too. There is one staff member that always seems grumpy but they are all characters in their own way.

This establishment is in the class of "We wanna be No:1", unfortunately it's just not going to be not for now anyway. The crowd is a mix of Aussie African and all sorts been located where it is. People with gambling problems from the low cost high-rise building across the road keep the place open, and yet all the hotel gives them is an empty pocket. They the patriot patrons however spill their pockets that are only filled with pension payments on booze & pokies. It's like watching a theif Rob a baby. This hotel should act more responsibility for the activities in its local area. Shame on you "TANKERVILLE".

The Tank is a long loved, brightly lit, bastion of a night gone well past due. I have spent many a eve at 5am drinking VB and playing pool here. I oddly recommend it.

The meals are fresh and well presented you can go wrong with the price $15.95 on the Specials board with a glass of wine beer or soft drink It fun and family orientated the pokies are great and they have security safe and bar staff that are friendly crowds are mostly always friendly or rough Best local hotel ever.

Tankerville has a special place in my heart. When all the cool bars go to sleep, there is one bar that is very much awake. Duke box and pool table with a big juicy pint of Carlton draught at roughly 5am. What more do you need? Do yourself a favour and get yourself to Tankerville!!

Steven Frederic Seagal is an American-born actor, producer, screenwriter, martial artist and current security guard at TheTankerville. A 7th-dan black belt in aikido, he began his adult life as a martial arts instructor in Japan and eventually ended up running security at the tankerville.

Stay away from this hotel as the security guard that works there is very nasty towards the customers there are much better places to visit. If you like going to venues to play the pokies or just for a drink and socialize highly recommend players on Lygon were you treated with respect and kindness unlike this place.

Sitting here eating the beef burger and its probably the worst burger I've ever eaten. There is next to zero meat in the smash patty, I thing the filler.... or patty is made up of mostly breadcrumbs! So disappointed

On Saturday I went with my husband and we ordered 2 large pizzas, one Mexican and one vegetarian. I was surprised by the quality of the pizza, the excellent service and we were very satisfied. we will return without a doubt. 5 stars for that delicious pizza..

One of the best venues everyone would recommend for families and friends to enjoy drinks and fun night out and also a place to eat at too very recommended to all ages to enjoy a good feed!

Located on a corner intersection. Fantastic staff members. Great, friendly staff. Decent pub style meals. Steak was pretty decent and well cooked

Great venue but terribly unprofessional staff, most of time they are just standing there doing nothing and you do ask for service they serve you with a bad attitude. Wouldnt reccomend it all. I think the venue would do great with new professional and friendly staff

Great spot for a poke. Conveniently located, with easy access to public transport and included off street parking. Decent pub style meals. Ladies in the bar are magic! Lovely, humble and attentive.

Great service and great food. We ordered 3 pastas, all delicious, and received complimentary dessert. We were very happy with our experience.

gorgeous venue with wonderful late night vibes, queer bartenders are a hoot. hot tip, piccolo of sparkles is a great deal. few freaks about but in a good way

Get ready to be ignored at the bar while you're waiting to order. Then be handled by grumpy bar staff, who really seem like they don't want to work there. Go to the toilet to be disgusted. Find out after you're back that the bar staff has taken your drink away.

Excellent staff. Have quietly observed several acts of kindness from staff without them breaking any gaming rules etc... Very impressed. I wish this place were still open for late night soccer games like FA Cup etc... Maybe events outside of gaming? Some people are quick to judge from the outside... the staff here are more in touch with this area than others around here. I guess they aren't trying to sell or market their kindness as some sort of fashionable spirituality. Some practical and kind people here from what I have seen mostly.

Don't like this place very much but bcos its the only Tabaret I know open till 5:30-6am. I got no other choice at the moment.
The bouncer there last night was really rude & looks like his always drunk or high on sumthing.
Another thing 2, every other Tabaret I've been 2, UR only allowed 2 RESERVE A machine for 10-15 mins no longer. I was there last night when 1 guy had 2 MACHINES RESERVED WHILE PLAYING ON A 3rd MACHINE. When I asked 1 of the workers 2 check 1 of the machines 4 me he said that the machine had already been RESERVED 4 HALF an HOUR already but he asked the guy who had RESERVED IT & the guy said he was cuming back 2 it. I waited another 5 mins b4 the guy returned 2 the machine. I sat on a machine 2 seats down frm the machine I wanted 2 go on. 10 mins after the guy got up again, put the RESERVE SIGN BACK ON that machine & walked off again.
By this time the Guy had been gone 4 about 20-25 mins so I went up 2 the same worker & asked him 2 check the machine again. He said it's been over 20 mins, I thought good finally I can play this machine, next thing I know the bouncer approaches the guy again & the guy said he was cuming back 2 the machine again.
The 1st time the MACHINE was RESERVED 4 HALF an HOUR.
The 2nd time the MACHINE was RESERVED for OVER 20 MINS.

How long must 1 person wait 4 a machine. THIS IS NOT FAIR.
THIS IS HOW TROUBLE IS CAUSED,
All gaming workers should know that machines r only 2 b RESERVED 4 NO LONGER THAN 10-15 mins.
It's WRITTEN on the RESERVE SIGNS..
