Worst service, bad food, waited for about 15 minutes and being told that they have other people to service.

Went for an early dinner, and had a schnitzel (as you do at a pub). Good size, tender, I thought it was pretty good. Chips - there were lots and well cooked. Salad a bit sparse, but you don't often order a schnitzel for the salad. Tables are well spaced, the eating area was away from the bar so quite quiet. Service also quite quick.

We called in with friends to have a great vegan meal but sadly, we had the only 2 options available and they were both under par! The worse (and smallest) salad I've ever had eating out! My friend sent hers back!

Waited ages for my meal.. numerous people who ordered after me, including everyone else on our table received their meals and I was still waiting... finally my meal arrived , with an apology and offer of complimentary drink as compensation... fish was cold...mostly because it was a piece of frozen fish that hadn't been thawed properly.. was not cooked and inedible
.. still waiting for the drink when we left 90 minutes later.. other members of our party were happy with their meals, or it would have been 1 star.. my advice avoid the fish.. won't be returning as can't afford to throw away money and go home hungry... really poor customer service

Used to be my go to pub, great staff and great service but was kicked out for standing up for antisocial behaviour toward one of the bar staff and placed on a 3 month ban. Disappointed as I’ve been kicked out of this venue numerous times for the most minor things. Also very repetitive with the events they host, pissed off to say the least, probably wouldn’t go back there again.

spent $40 on entry to emo night, got kicked out for using the unisex stalls instead of regular ones, horrible security. never coming back, huge waste of money. tattersalls kicks people out for requiring assistance to use the accessible toilets, accusing them of using drugs

security has never let me have a good safe time here without being kicked out or refused for completely irrational reasons. will forever be avoiding this venue in favour of the other venues in penrith.

My wife has worked in professional kitchens her whole life and she says that the roasted vegetables that we were served today were the best that she’s ever tasted. The food we bought was inexpensive - possibly about 30-40% less than what we’ve paid for similar food in Sydney pubs. This pub is conveniently located near Penrith’s CBD. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Our table wasn’t cleaned when we arrived. Parking located next door. Bus stop is located just outside the hotel.

Lunch specials. 2 x chicken schnitzel. One chicken wasn’t cooked chips were cold. Rump steak was palm size, cooked medium. The two wraps never arrived. We ended up asking for take aways because of time taking to get them. Every one else has finished mains and drinks. Asked for refund and was refused. Offered a complimentary drink. Poor service and below average food.

I've eaten here a few times both recently and in the past and their quality and serving size keeps going down and gets smaller.
I came here a week ago for lunch and had the chicken schnitzel and thought it looked small in size and was hardly any chips too.
Today I ordered the battered fish and couldn't believe how small the serving was.
I ate it because I was hungry but it didn't even scrape the sides.
The salad was very wilted and not fresh, and it wasn't from being next to warmer food on the plate as they weren't mixing. The tartare sauce was quite runny and may have been watered down.
Yes it's well priced, but not value for money at all.

If you're in Penrith out and about during the day looking for a chill, kickback place for a beer and a bar meal this is where you come. In close proximity to shops and shopping, you can play pool, pinball or the pokies. Watch the big screen TV's and kick back. The bar staff are awesome and always welcoming. Highly recommend.

I didn’t get the chance to eat here but I will be coming back to give it a go purely because of Jane behind the counter. She was sooo helpful, understanding and human, which is so hard to find these days around Penrith. I definitely will be back very soon (maybe for Wild West Karaoke night!) just for her service again :D

Had a great time here, the staff are incredibly friendly, they make great cocktails and are all great for a bit of banter. The food here is incredible too, I would recommend the chicken parmi (Mexicana) it was delicious!

Had a good time, karaoke was going on, very happening environment. Had a good old VB and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Great venue for live music in Penrith. Had for bands on that were all great. Not a huge place but that just means you're close to the band and can interact with them and enjoy their music.

Great pub in Penrith. Went back down to our old stomping ground in Penrith to see what we could find on a Friday night. We stumbled across - Tattersalls pub, karaoke night which was a really fun night watching the locals get up and sing. Good beer, not overly crowded, clean and friendly. Had such a great time on Friday night we decided to go back on Saturday for lunch. Staff were friendly and happy, food was amazing, great northern on tap, which we LOVE ❤️
nice cheap feed, especially on a Saturday. Thank you, Tattersalls. We will definitely be back. 👍

Great place to meet up with family and Friends for queit drink
Staff are very friendly . Best part of the hotel is the pin ball machines .

Great food. Love that it isn’t just pub grub. Texan fries were yum, also pumpkin salad. Steaks are tender. Drinks aren’t expensive and nicely air conditioned venue which is must in Penrith. Best pub food in Penrith for sure!

Food was not great at all. The girls who served the food omg 😱 it looks like we need to look for them to get plates and cutlery. Nachos were heated up in the microwave some cheese was melted and some wasn't. It was a catastrophic Christmas party. Chips were good though. Serve a lot of chips with few ingredients. Salad I can count how many leaves in the small bowl. The place wasn't too bad many people go there for beer mostly. A very bad experience I don't recommend that place.

enjoy a good feed from the bistro, the girl who served us remembered exactly who ordered what and was no confusion when our meals were brought out. A few craft beers on tap was pleasing to see but would like to see a few more varieties on tap or in the fridge.
Its been a while since I've been here, hope the live music scene is still strong here.

denied entry by security at 8pm on Anzac day. 3 of us over 60 years old not intoxicated were denied access to the pub very rudely by security. When we questioned why as the pub was open we were told that RSI rules closed the pub early on Anzac day. We phoned the pub and asked what time they close and were told it was 10pm? Still would not let us in although they let in obvious friends.
When I questioned why we were not allowed to enter I was told that I was being argumentative. Not impressed.

Delightful staff. Lovely huge area. Excellent pinball machines. Just unfortunate my favourite arcade game- Big Buck Hunter screen is too dark

Dear Management
Upon arrival staff were eating a Pizza at the end of the bar one didn't even look like he worked there, only that he took our food order that we realised he was staff, huge no.
Your Canadian club on tap lines have not been cleaned in god knows how long I am a regular drinker and it was disgusting, it didn't even taste like Canadian club we did inform staff who re poured another but it was the same just nasty, please keep an eye on this.
Your toilets are REVOLVING they need a serious overhaul and a proper clean
The place was literally dead on a Thursday night 6 people and a Security guard just sitting around
We both work in Hospitality and your establishment is seriously lacking in alot of ways
Food was nice
We later walked past the Red Cow and it was packed there's a reason for that.. pick up the pace try a little harder

Connor and Jacob were lovely bartenders. The food was great and the atmosphere was incredible. If you like a good time and a great feed, come down to tattersalls to make your night a one to remember.
