We ordered the vegan burger and it was quite tasty and came with delicious golden chips. The portion was good and price reasonable. Service was prompt and very friendly. Happy smiling staff are always good to see when you walk into an establishment. We were told that they are looking to increase their vegan options in the next month or so, and there will be a separate vegan menu so we're looking forward to that.

Went to the tavern for the first time as they do a Keto Menu .The food was fantastic and Great for the Price. Will be returning to try other things.

Went for lunch with friends. Empty space with no people. Food not so good. Never again.

We have driven past this place for many years and last weekend we stopped for lunch
Glad we did excellent menu very good food. Nice staff and place is very clean. We stopped again this week. Will be again soon as many things on menu that we want to try. So far have had. Salmon, Pork Ribs , Chicken Schnitty , Chilli Prawn Spaghetti , Garlic Bread.

This gem is in clear view along Port road & has more than nightly specials, consistently tasty food, wonderful service (oh you have to meet Egg) and fine desserts. It's also working on creating a stellar low Carb menu, which we tried the other night. Thanks to Marco and his wonderful mum and family for THE BEST local food and service!

The service was good but the food was very average. Chips were horrible. My dish was supposed to be Lamb medallions sauteed with tuscan herbs but got over cooked deep fried rubbish and the veg was bland overcooked.. When i told the waitress i wasnt very happy with the meal she said well we never have complaints about that meal.

The low carb pizzas are great! Wish I found this place sooner. They’re a little pricey but so worth it to be able to enjoy takeaway pizza with diabetes 👍 I ate a whole pizza and low carb dessert with no blood sugar issues

Pleasantly surprised with the low carb menu, you have got to try the blueberry cheesecake 🤤 Both low carb and regular menu, are amazing, looking to try more things next time. Service and food got my 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

Love this place for low carb / Keto options that are even better than the real thing. Others ordering off the regular menu have been really impressed too. Great value and always leave feeling well satisfied. Pity the pokies are within eyesight but that's the only downside.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service at Tavern 540. I'm extremely local to the area but hadn't stopped by before, but headed in for a birthday dinner recently.
The portions (including the starters) were generous for the price, and were all really well cooked and tasty. We went for classic pub food (schnitzels/steaks), but the menu had lots of options. They also had a low carb menu. The service was also very fast and incredibly helpful and friendly.
I'm excited to go back to check out some of their specials.

It's clean. The staff I met were nice. I had a chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, chips and salad. It was very nice. My friend had a rice ball thing. She said it was different to what she was use to ( no italian sauce inside the ball only cheese) but it ok. My other friend said her meal was ok. My cappuccino was fantastic. Real froth on top. Yum.

Great vibes and we had a wonderful family dinner tonight. Knowledgeable staff helped us pick dairy free options from their menu and were just lovely. Great value too.

Fish and chips was sensational. All you can ask is a quality product cooked properly. It was Brilliant. Sat outside, no loss of service, great lunch.

Chicken schnitzel lunch special $18.90. Prompt and polite service from bar and bistro. Portion size great, food looked and tasted lovely. Definitely worth returning 👍

A couple of weeks ago I was driving past and decided to dope in for a meal. I mentioned I had no booking, young man said ok and shown me to a table. This place is amazing the food is delicious the service is top-notch they make you feel like a celebrity and is just one of the most nicest places I have been. Food wise really great portions, food brought out in 25minutes. The service was great. I highly recommended this place.

5 stars! Tavern 540 has an awesome Keto menu available, which is really tasty, generous in serving size and very reasonably priced. The service we received from the Manager was fantastic and super friendly, and he's really knowledgeable about keto. Options to eat outside or inside in a relaxed environment, run by a family team. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back!
