W had a lovely Mothers day dinner at The telegraph hotel , great food , good service very comfortable chairs and great atmosphere. the staff are very friendly and bubbly .
We recommend it for lunch or dinner .

We really enjoyed a quiet Sunday lunch Birthday celebration here! The food was very good and generous. The atmosphere as always very pleasant. Service was friendly although we had to find staff on occasion to eg see a sweet menu etc.

Visited here yesterday for mothers day. We had a booking .Myself mum and all the family. Everything was fantastic, food was amazing, the waiters we're very friendly. The venue is great. But we are far from happy with the door man, we arrived before our booked time to sit down and relax with some drinks before lunch. But we we're greeted at the door by a very arrogant door man who refused us entry even just sitting at the bar for drinks.we got told to come back when you're booked in for. The door man basically put us off from coming back.

The team at the telegraph were absolutely fantastic so accommodating and friendly. Beautiful venue and the food was absolutely lovely. We even received a surprise birthday desert ... on the house!

The service was very poor, had to ask the waiter 4 times to take our order and then was still waiting after 1hr for our meal. Also never came back to take our drink order, we had to continue to chance the waiters for service. When the food finally did come was average at best... one of the meals didn't even come with the items in the dish and the wrong salad. Over priced for quality of food.Would have been better off going to the local pub. Will never ever return, lost loyal customers.

One of the best pub meals we've had in a long time. Delicious food, lovely staff. The decor is a little 'tired' but the food and staff more than make up for it. A lovely night out.

My children organised a table upstairs for lunch on Mother’s Day.
The food was absolutely delicious. Presentation 10/10 & plenty of dishes to suit everyone’s culinary taste
Our waiter Stephen was so amazing welcoming warm & attentive ..
We had a very memorable family lunch
Thanks to the wonderful staff & chefs
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue

Met at door by Tyler and incredibly hospitable. Met Rhonda the owner who was super personable. Great pub, and venue! Highly recommend!

Just finshed dinner . Husband’s steak ordered medium arrived cold , so cold the garlic butter didn’t melt in any way . Informed first staff that enquired about our meals , she apologized but only offered to “ reheat “.. we declined it’s a steak already cold and over cooked .
My husband ate a third and left it , wasn’t edible .
As meals taken from table second staff member informed .as to why he didn’t eat his meal .
As we paid tbe bill we were offered “ desert” which we declined and were given an apology . The way this establishment apologies is by removing a $10 drink off a bill and still having you pay $133 for one entree and one meal that was eaten and 2 drinks . Bad form , wint be back

It was late in the day and needed substance and rehydration - not sure where to go. Was given two choices and I like both! I think i picked the best option on both fronts - great food (Barra grilled Asian style) & great Beer 🍺 and very good customer service from all staff!!! #telegraghhotel #coopersvintage #barramundi

Had a lovely lunch here today, ordered the Pork Belly was a large portion, very moist and cooked well. My boyfriend had the Portuguese Chicken was a good size dish, chicken had plenty of flavour it just needed the lime butter to be served less firm and a few peas to take it to the next level 😁👍

Great place for dinner on a cold winters night
Service was great the main meal was not the best I paid $44 for a scotch fillet was warm but not very tasty. Wife had chicken scalopeni chicken was tuff

Food was quite nice, but for $50 for a little steak it would want to be!
$6 for a can of coke lol. Bit rich. I live on the Gold Coast and don’t know one place that charges $6 for a coke

Firstly the ambiance is so welcoming and beautiful. A great place to go on dates or bring families. The bar has a wide selection of Wines. Their food was delicious and the serving size is quite big, so you will definitely leave the place satisfied. The staff was friendly and approachable

Excellent restaurant, service and atmosphere at the Telegraph Hotel, make sure you visit the top floor with live music. Manager was really friendly and proud to show off the vast wine selection. Highly recommend.

Congratulations to your chefs and all your wait staff for enabling us to have a very relaxed and enjoyable Mothers Day lunch at the venue. Food was fantastic and staff very efficient and co operative. Our table of 7 had a wonderful time.

Came here for dinner while our P & O cruise was docked in Hobart for the day. Had a fantastic meal. Gluten free options were good. Liam our waiter was a delight and gave us some great info about Hobart as this was our first time. The meals were big and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to
Hobart.

Better than the average pub, well managed, offering excellent fare and choice of steaks. The rib steak or any teak there is near perfect and cooked well. One can't say enough about the excellent service and atmosphere. The prices are fairly reasonable too.
The only suggestion about the food is to improve the quality of sauces especially with steaks. Such as traditional green or black peppercorn or Dianne sauce would go a long way in making a great steak perfect.

Atmosphere was typical of a pub setting…delightful and bright, clean and fresh…pleasant and comfortable. There was a lit fireplace burning on one side of the room which added to the atmosphere. We did turn up without a booking on a busy Saturday night…luckily they were able to seat us, providing we were out by a certain time…which was fine as we had a show to go to. Service was good…friendly and quick. Food and drink came out quickly…serving sizes were generous. Only comment is the steak came out a little on the rare side for a medium rare order. Still, was tasty and happily eaten without change. Had a good time and a pleasant meal.

Amazing venue with excellent customer service. The Thursday night special with $1.00 oysters is the best value in town. Have been on numerous occasions and everytime the food has been sensational.

A family lunch celebrating a birthday. The online booking worked well. There wasn't as much parking as I expected from the website description, but street parking was ok. Food and drink were lovely, generous serves, although the gnocchi wasn't the best I've had. There was an extensive wine list (had to ask for the list for bottles). Staff were pleasant and appropriately attentive. It was s good choice .
