Wow great food plenty of variety and deating good kid play area andhotel patrons can have a cold ale and or kids drinks.

We were a large group of about 20 on a busy Saturday night. The service from the staff was great. Our meals all arrived timely and everyone enjoyed their meals. The housemade desert was lovely. It's becoming our regular place to dine.

We attended the Aussie Hotel for a group function dinner. The staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was great, the food was outstanding. I had The Fisherman’s Plate and hubby had the 350gm Rib Fillet. The seafood was all fresh and plentiful with a great variety. Hubby’s steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Well done Aussie Hotel, we’ll be back.

Very comfortable casual old style pub plenty of room for your pets outside with great meals at reasonable prices .
NoNo comment on the rooms we did not stay.

This would have to be one of the best hotels for food and drink in Maryborough since the recent change of ownership and renovations. Last Saturday evening, I had the lamb cutlets. Three huge homemade style crumbed cutlets served with a side of beautifully cooked and seasoned vegetables and mash. Others had the Snapper and the steak which was also top notch. Cooked perfectly. The extra level of care, passion and dedication to quality shows in this owner operated hotel (the owners where there on the night). There was also a range of locally brewed beers and even alcoholic ginger beers available on tap which appeared to be a hit with the patrons. This is a must try for anyone looking to dine out in Maryborough and i will be back in the very near future. Thanks for the lovely experience.

This pub has been undergoing renovations after being sold. You can see where the old girl is being freshened up. Particularly the menu. Partner and myself have visited twice now. First lunch visit was due to recent positive comments on the menu and food.... we were really impressed, also. Partner ate Seafood Platter for 1, I ate the grilled Snapper. Beautifully cooked. Great salad(not just boring coleslaw) and crispy chips.
Hence 2nd visit. Partner at rib fillet(MR). He's super fussy and yes cooked to his liking and the shroom gravy was tasty. I ate the crumbed lamb cutlets. Perfectly crumbed & cooked. 3 huge cutlets with mash, veg & mint jelly & really yummy gravy. Best pub lunch in ages. Oh yes, their tap beers are brewed locally and are cold & delicious too! Highly recommend supporting this great local.

The manager of the bar there is very polite patient and cheerful he is always willing to help n values his customers;) The Aussie hotel offers great family meal deals with many dishes to choose from at the buffet style all u can eatery, inclusive of a deserts bar for a small cost of ten dollars for adults ,very affordable !
The kitchen is very clean , staff are always busy and friendly!
The hotel has indoor and outdoor dining tables catering for large families or groups , tables for two or one ;) the children are not forgotten they can play safely in the covered indoor play area great for all weather situations ;)
Pool tables also available !
The adult gaming room has many brand new Pokie machines or try ya luck with the keno option, with easy to view screens so you can see your numbers as they drop! !
The hotel has upstairs refurbished very comfortable rooms for rent these rooms are very affordable ,cleanliness n presentation outstanding !

The best all you can eat there for $10 you get to eat how much you can + dessert it's awesome you should go to it it the best

Seven friends had dinner tonight at the Aussie.The meals were good, the beer and service were good .On the downside and easily fixed, two people at our table had their dinners served about 20 minutes before the other five were served although we all ordered within a few minutes of each other.Also, there were no chairs or tables in the smokers area to make those customers who smoke, feel like human beings and valued customers.

Recommended by a local so we tried the Aussie. From the minute we entered the bar door we were greeted with the very best of service. Lunch for 4 was top notch, fresh, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. All in all this was the one of the best meals we have enjoyed with the highest standard of service. Well done to all the staff and management.

Last Friday, my wife and I had our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and celebrated it on Saturday Night. She who must be obeyed, did all the running around look at venues and prices etc.
There were around 40 guests plus us and she settled on the Beer Garden at The AUSSIE HOTEL corner Alice and Adelaide Streets.
Well the venue was fantastic (it has been done up) and the area set up prior to our arrival.
The Evening.
We can only say, what a fantastic night we had. The staff who looked after us did a fantastic Job and the Bosses Daughter (Hope) looked after the show. Not one of the staff let anything go amiss and were totally Professional in their Turnout and their Service to our Guests.
The food was served hot, the taste was great and it kept coming as the horde took on the task of devouring it. Now the Chef excelled in more than one of his dishes, however I have to mention his dish, Garlic Prawns. Not one person that I spoke to had anything but praise for them, they were Heaven on Earth and consisted of fine little tastes that made the dish Superb.
We could not fault the night on any thing, it was just superb in all ways. And again, a Big Shout out to all the Staff that served us.

If you are looking for a venue I don't think you could do anything better than the AUSSIE, AUSSIE AUSSIE - Oi, Oi, Oi.

It has now changed from a all you can eat buffet for $9.99 to a steakhouse and I haven't been there to try yet

Had thai beef salad the other day. Yuuum! Amazing. Even better still if possible today I had the seafood plate. OMG. Now that's amazing. Thankyou guys. 😍 and the service. Just lovely. So nice to have polite and attentive service provders. ☺️

Great value Aussie pub. Get much more than what you pay for. Not 5 star food. But value is definately 5 star.

Aussie has all you can eat buffet for $10. I stop here frequently if work runs late and I missed lunch. Food is pretty good, and price is unbeatable.

Always a nice family atmosphere. Love the all you can eat buffet. Always full and satistified. Have a little taste of everything or choose your favourite. I like fish and salad and partner loves the roast and vegetables. Sometimes even have lambs fry or curry. Always a tasty cake/slice/pie for desert or jelly and icecream and toppings or even fruit and custard. Can't go wrong for $10. Always have highchairs available. Also an undercover playground to keep the kids entertained.
